How to Distinguish two pages in OA framework

Hi All,
I am having only one responsibility where 2 functions are attached which are calling JSP page after 2/3 pages using HTML call and passing the parameters. My requirement is On the same responsibility , If I go through One function which is calling JSP page then I press next to navigate 2nd page ,at this second page, sysdate should be displayed on one of the field and if I go through the another function and click next to navigate second page then my customized date should be displayed. Whatever the second page which is getting called is the same on both the functions.
Kindly tell me how can i distinguish or customize the page so that on one function for second page sysdate should default whereas for another function for second page (same page of function 1 ) the customizecd date should default.
Please look below for example :-
1.Resp A --- Fun 1 and fun 2.
2. in Fun1 -- page X --> Navigate to next page --> Page "Special" (date should default sysdate in one of the field)
3. in Fun2 --> page A -->Navigate to next page --> Again Page "Special" (date should default customized date on the same field on fun1).

    hi ,
    once a main window size is declared , then that space will be placed in each page created.
    eg. if a table with header and footer is created, first of all the space for header and footer are allocated and body page is allocated.
    so we cannot dynamically change the size of the main window , even it is a copied main window.
    Otherwise another option is to continue the main window into the second page.
    for that first page main window -> create table -> add page break command to page 2 -> hard code description in template.
    page attribute for first page --> GOTO assign same page ( for continuing the same page)
    Page attribute for second page --> no need default is enough

    How do I merge two pages (within the same PDF file) into one page?  For example, I have a scanned 3x5 card; the front of the card is on page one and the back of the card is on page two.  How do I merge them so the front and back of the card is on the same page?  Thanks!

    It works well because InDesign is highly reliable for placing PDF files (you can even choose which layer):
    And it uses the common PDF Export presets for the Creative Suite. I've used it very reliably to place ads saved as PDF, and including them in a program guide, then exporting the entire project as one PDF file.

  • How to get two-page 11x17 layout into 8.5x11 PDF?

    Good morning,
    I am working on a 11x17 brochure which will be folded to appear as 4 pages.  Naturally, I would also like to have the PDF so it "prints" into 4 separate pages.  However, I just cannot seem to figure out how to accomplish this.  I am using InDesign CS5 and my pages are sized to 11x17 in my document.
    It seems this should be fairly straight forward to do.  If anyone can please explain what I am missing, I would really appreciate it.  At this point I am starting to conclude what I want is not possible to do without re-laying it out in a document with 8.5x11 pages.  Please tell me I am wrong!

    For 4 pages you have two options for setting up, two two-page spreads (4&1 and 2&3) or page1, then 2&3, and page 4. If you use the first method, be sure to check the "spreads" box in the print dialog. If you do the second, Use File > Print Booklet... to impose into two 11 x 17 pages. This method will allow you to lay out any document in multiples of 4 pages and see them as the reader does, which is MUCH easier when you have more than two spreads.
    If you want to make PDFs for distibution or to hand off to a commercial printer, the second method is also preferred (you get single pages in consectutive order, as long as you don't choose PDF (Interactive), but that's a different discussion that we can have if you need it).     yes you can do it , Suppose you want to call the second opage at the end of page footer or  at the end of report (every page in crystal have section ), make the formula on that section aftyer which u want to call the second page . in formula mention rhe condition like if page no =1 then call second page or call page break  that depends on u .
    Hope u got some idea ,moreever pls let me know u want the page break after end of report or page fotter .

  • How to combine two pages (not files) into one long vertical page

    Is there a way in Acrobat 9 Pro to combine (concatenate) say two 8.5"x11" pages and create a single 8.5"x22" page?
    Right now I'm having to do this by importing one page into Photoshop, extending the canvas, and pasting in the second page into the extended canvas space.  Very kludgy. While this works, saving the resulting PDF (even after removing the option to preserve editability in Photoshop) still results in a file which is a whopping 2.5MB in size as compared with around 25KB for the original PDF file which was spanning 2 pages.
    Ultimately what I'm trying to do is to be able to view a long document which was created in MS Word 2007 and then saved as a PDF, in a web browser by scrolling, without having page breaks.  Trying to increase the page dimensions is MS Word 2007 prior to creating the PDF worked to a point but Word 2007's maximum page length is 22 inches and as luck would have it, the document requires about 23 inches in length.
    I've tried using the custom page setting under the crop tool in Acrobat 9 but I can't seem to get the modified page dimensions to be accepted.  Acrobat 9 seems to accept the input and then nothing changes with the page's dimensions.

    A simple way to accomplish the job, though not recommended is to print the 2 page file to a new PDF with multi-up (assuming you select vertical rather than horizontal locations) and adjust the paper in the Adobe PDF printer to be 8.5X22. At least you might give it a shot. Some variation, along with rotation possibly, might work.

  • Viewing two pages on 23" display?

    I cannot figure out how to see two pages next to one another
    on a 23" Cinema display. I have zoomed out and enlarged the Pages window to fill the screen, but still get only one page
    on the left side of the screen.

    Yes, Peggy. It's nice to have the extra room for the inspector.
    With Pages I miss the ability that Word gives me to have a legible overview of about 6 pages. On really long documents, I like being able to view an editable layout of a large chunk of pages (not just a strip of page thumbnails down the side).
    A 23" display is perfect for viewing 10 or 24 or more pages to see the flow of chapters. This bird's-eye view really helps me as a writer. I can do it in Word, but not Pages. Naturally I don't want to do all my writing with things zoomed that small, but it's indispensable for viewing.
    Analogy: In astronomy, I prefer binoculars to a telescope because they show a quicker overview of the sky, with a lot in the field of view. A telescope is like looking through a drinking straw and it's harder to find objects.
    I guess I'm a right-brained Mac user who wishes he could see a multiple page overview. I would think that would also be really useful for scanning the layout of multi-page newsletters and things from the other Pages templates.

    Main windows in page windows allow you to format text in multiple columns. Define an area in the page window, in which to position the main windows.
    Here is the procedure !!
    -->Create a page window and assign it to a page.
    Choose <b>Edit --> Main windows</b>.
    A dialog box appears.
    -->Enter values in the fields <b>Area width</b> and A<b>rea height</b> in accordance with the input guidelines for main windows.
    -->Enter values in the fields <b>Spacing</b> and Number in the <b>Horizontal group</b> if you want to use multiple columns. You can ignore the fields in the Vertical group.
    Determine how many columns and line areas are required for label printing. Then enter the corresponding values in the fields in the <b>Horizontal and Vertical groups</b>.
    -->The value in the field Left margin varies from main window to main window if multiple columns are used. The following applies:

  • How can I make some pages in a PDF display in single-page view and others in two-page (facing) view?

    Exactly as it says on the tin. I am looking to save a PDF magazine/book layout in such a way so that when opened, only the front and back covers open to the viewer in single-page mode, and the rest of the pages in two-page facing mode, without re-printing the in-between pages in booklet format  and re-inserting them into a new PDF (with the front and back covers left separate and untouched, and included as single portrait-orientation pages). This is so that individual pages can still be printed (on a physical printer, not a "virtual" one like a PDF driver), as-is without having the page next to it included, or the printouts always requiring landscape orientation (resulting with two "pages" from the PDF showing up on one sheet of paper).
    So when the PDF is opened, I want just the front and back cover to be auto-viewed by themselves, and the content (the "meat" of the document) viewed side-by-side, as though one were actually reading a "book" -- but without actually re-doing the content pages to be "fused" side-by-side. Thus creating the "illusion" that they are, in fact, in booklet form. Is this possible, to have different page-display settings for different pages/page ranges in a single PDF? If so, how is this done? If not, what would be my best course of action otherwise to achieve this "virtual" book layout, while still retaining the "physical" structure of the document and allowing individual pages to be printed by themselves rather than "fused" together?

    I can't find a simple solution to my situation...
    I'm using Max OSX Lion 10.7.3 and Adobe Reader X 10.1.2. 
    I want print two PDF pages onto one printed sheet, and I want to print front and back.  When I go to the print settings and select two pages per printed sheet, the sample window shows me what I'm looking for.  But when I tell it to print odd only or even only, it changes the print selection.  Here's what happens...
    Let's say I have a PDF document that is 20 pages long.  When I tell it to print two PDF pages per sheet, it shows me that the first pages printed will be PDF pages 1 and 2.  When I tell it that I want it to print odd pages only, it tells me that the first printed page will contain PDF pages 1 and 3.
    In other words, Adobe Reader wants to print the odd PDF pages instead of the odd pages of the printed document (PDF pages 1 and 2, then 5 and 6, then 9 and 10, so on).
    So that I'm being clear...
    This [  ] is a printed page.  The numbers inside the brackets represent the page numbers in the PDF document...
    What I want to print is this...
      FRONT   ||  BACK
    [1,2]    ||  [3,4]
    [5,6]    ||  [7,8]

    Aside from telling it exactly which PDF page numbers to print (this would be a taxing job because I'm working with a 273 page document), is there an easy and simple way to print how I'd like?

    I would suggest to use Adobe Ilustrator. Also I get an error message when I try tp access the sample document.
