How to do a manual uninstall of Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro (9.4.4) on my Mac?

Hi Adobe Acrobat experts,
Can someone walk me through the steps I need to take in order to perform a manual uninstall of Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro on my mac?
I just got Adobe Acrobat 11 on my mac and don't want to accidentally uninstall that in the process, or delete anything necessary for me to run my other CS4 Master Suite applications.
I can't uninstall the normal way and have tried to troubleshoot it in many ways. So the last resort I have is to manually uninstall. I just don't want to mess up my PDFs.

I say to highlight more than one if you can because if the PDF you highlight was made by using Acrobat, it will change all PDF's made by Acrobat but if you have one made by some other product, it may not change them to open with Acrobat.
So in other words, at some point you may have to do it to a PDF made by some other product.

Silent Uninstall for Adobe Acrobat X Pro

I am trying to figure out a silent uninstall string for this and can't seem to figure it out. The scenario is this:
In a corporate setting, the two main apps are Office & IE... We want to have a silent install that can be run at any time...

I did test and this does function correctly as I would like it to. I will discuss this with my team and see if this is viable or if we need to put some logic in front of the uninstall.

Does anyone know how to remove highlighting and strikethrough in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro?

There is a small amount of text highlighted and a bit more which is strikethrough-ed and I would like to keep the text but remove both of those things. Is this possible? I have gone to Help and looked on the forum but can't seem to find any answer. Please help!

Click on the highlight, right click, delete. You should probably have the highlight tool selected at this time, but I just did it with the hand tool also.

Adobe Acrobat XI Pro activation

I downloaded Adobe Acrobat XI Pro today, but when I try to activate, this product is not listed in the drop down menu. this is what I get "serial number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer". I tried several times.

Creative Cloud just wasn't working for me, so after several years of frustration with being abroad and not online when the program decided to require online verification, I'm ditching Creative Cloud and reverting to the purchased Adobe Acrobat XI Pro point product. However, after uninstalling Creative Cloud Desktop (and CC-based Acrobat XI Pro), it still wants to go online and check my CC subscription, disallowing use of the newly installed point product version from a several year-old ESD file (and the more recent AcrobatUpd11010.dmg file).
Anyone have an idea of how to eliminate request to renew my subscription?
If, as a journalist, I've have these issues over the past two years, including this final insult when I'm trying to get away from CC, it can't be a one-off problem. So I'd like to hear details about others who've had a similar issue with reverting from CC back to a point product or to CS.

I can't uninstall the Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 from my computer. It shows saying "C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\7.0 Get last Error:5." It also can't be re-installed. How to do it?

If you still want AA7 running, then open Acrobat and use Help>Repair. If you cannot open Acrobat, then in Windows go to Control Panel>Programs & Features, select AA7 and repair. If you do uninstall AA7, it is likely you will not be able to successfully reinstall it without a new download. Sometimes there are server issues and such. A reinstall is a bit drastic. Try http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows.

Thanks Pat. I was able to resolve the problem.
OS is Windows 7 Pro, Adobe Acrobat Pro 11.0.07.
I went into the Properties file where I identified that Users only had Read & Execute and Read properties, I changed properties for Everyone to Full Control. That fixed the problem.
I don't know how the properties got changed to just Read & Execute, but there had been an automatic update the night before.

How do you grey out/disable fields under a radio button if another radio button is selected in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro?
I’m creating a form where the user has three options to make a payment.
1. charge to my credit card
2. charge associated costs to bank account
3. By cheque or money order
My Problem is, under each option, there are required fields that has to be filled out. So if the user picks the first option, charge to my credit card, they would fill out the required fields (credit card number, expiration date etc.). But when they click submit button to submit the form, it won’t let them, because there are required fields under the second option. Also, I have the radio buttons for the three options setup so that if the user holds the shift key and clicks a radio button, it unchecks it. So what I'm trying to do is this: If the user selects the radio button for option 1, the other two options are greyed out/disabled. And if the user holds down the shift key and clicks radio button for option one again, it unchecks the radio button and the other two options are available again. Is there a way to grey out or disable the two other payment options when the other one is picked. I’m assuming I will have to use javascript, but what would the coding be and which field do I write it under?

You will have to use custom JavaScript to access the various properties of the field object.
The radio button group has a value. When no button is selected that value is "Off". When an individual button has been selected the value for the group will be the option or export value for that individual button.
Once you have determined the button selected, then you will know the form fields that need to be made required. You use JavaScript to access those fields and change the "read only" property to false, and set the "required" property to true. For the fields associated with the other options, those fields should be reset, made read only, and have the "required" property set to false.
Disabling (graying-out) Form Fields

Radio button in a PDF do not work that way. Only check boxes can be unchecked by clicking on one that has been checked.
If you plan the coding for the Mouse UP action to test for all possible options and code for each of those options you should have what you want.
If you want actual code you need to provide a lot more details.
It is even possible to perform some credit card and bank routing number validations with JavaScript and some check digit formulas.
