How to do a print screen?

How do I do a print of a screen with my new macbook Pro?

If you're talking about taking a picture of your screen press Shift, Command, Number 3 for a picture of the whole screen. Or press Shift, Command, Number 4 and the cursor will change to crosshairs. You can then hold the left click (or mouse) button down and drag the cursor to select a smaller protion of the screen. The picture will then appear on your desktop.

    Hello Mr.Lee,
    If you are refering to the print icon on the toolbar (CTRL+P), then no, it is not possible.
    This printer dialog is necessary for front-end printing so you can choose the active printer.

    Hi Vijay,
    to disable it just in your application is no good. You should disable it for the current user at all!
    Did you try to Google "disable keyboard print screen"? There are so many solutions listed...

  • HOW TO GET INPUT PRINT SCREEN ONCE

    I'VE GOT AN INTERNAL TABLE AND AS IT IS OF TYPE CREATED LOCALLY, I CANT PASS THE TABLE INTO SMARTFORM. THEREFORE I'VE TO CALL  THE SMARTFORM FOR EACH LINE OF THE TABLE TO PASS THE VALUES.
    THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE USER INPUT SCREEN, THAT ASKS THE USER FOR
    1 OUTPUT DEVICE
    2 PRINT OR SEE RTHE PRINT PREVIEW
    3 NO. OF COPIES ETC.
    COMES EVERY TIME THE LOOP RUNS.
    THE USER WANTS IT ONLY ONCE.
    HOW SHOULD I GO ABOUT IT?
    PLZ HELP.

    Hi,
    Create the type as a structure in SE11 for your internal table. You can then declare an internal table in your print program of the structure that has been created in SE11. Now the internal table can also be passed as a table parameter to the smartform.
    Hope this helps.

  • I need help figuring out how to use my print screen key

    I have an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC dv7-1245. The key is above the num lock key  - it has "home" which works when I press it but under that it has "prt sc" but I don't know what to hit along with it to make it work. I tried the shift key, the alt key, the fn key and nothing works. I even looked in the manual and those keys above the num lock key are not even referenced.

    to capture active windows the key combo is ctrl+alt+fn+print sc
    Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

  • How to use Print Screen function?

    I've seen various descriptions of how to use the print screen function.
    It would be nice to actually be told one that works.  None have worked for me.
    [Fn] and Prt SCr does not work.
    Ctrl and Prt SCr does not work.
    Ctrl, Alt, and Prt SCr does not work.
    [Fn], Ctrl, and Prt SCr does not work.
    If anyone knows the correct method of activating the print screen function that would be good.
    From the looks of things HP has a big problem with this function.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    On my notebook, the Insert key and the prt sc key are the same key, but the prt sc has a ring, around it, if you know what I mean.
    On the bottom left of my keyboard is a key that has fn with a ring around it, or I guess you could say it is in a little box.  By the way, there are a number of keys that have two functions on them, and to activate the second function, you must press the fn key at the same time as the desired function on the key.  In this case press the  fn key and  the prt scr key, and that puts an image of the screen on the clip board and then it can be pasted into Word or where ever.
    Here is somethine else you might like, if you can get it to work as I described above.
    To print only the active window, and not the entire desktop or the entire screen, you can do that by pressing the alt and prt sc at the same time.  Then it only captures to the clip board the window, and not the entire desktop. Oh, and in the scenario with the fn key, it has to be pressed also, so actually it's pressing the fn and alt and print screen all at once.
    I just performed each of the instructions above, and they worked well on my EliteBook 8440.
    Hopefully you have the same experience,

    Pressing Shift + Prt Scr will copy the whole screen display to the clipboard. To paste it in the application all you have to do is to right click the mouse or your touchpad button and choose paste. Pressing Prt Scr only will send the whole screen display to your printer.
    Where did you get that information from? It's not correct... unless you're writing about MS-DOS xD

    Sorry, I don't have any proof to show you but it is from my experience. You may have a different experience but let's not debate on who's right or wrong since the issue is not which one is right or which one is wrong. Let's just leave that decision to the OP to decide. That is you do yours and I'll do mine.
    Peace.

  • Print screen button causing project to advance

    I have added some JavaScript to a button in my captivate project using On success > Execute JavaScript > Script Window > window.print()
    This works fine to print the screen, however, clicking the button also makes the project advance to the next slide.
    Any tips on how to acheive the print screen functionality without advancing the slide would be greatly appreciated. We intend to publish using HTML5 output only.
    The majority of elearning projects we work on require a print screen button, it would be a very useful feature were it to be added to Captivate without the need to dabble with JavaScript.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Curious about this one, Lilybiri
    I know you are the queen of actions, but why would you choose to create an action as opposed to simply clearing the "Continue" option here? That would seem the simpler approach.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Remove  print screen in sapscripts

    Hi frendz,
    How do i remove  print screen that appears before final output screen and after run F8(selection screen) in sapscript program.
    Regards,
    Ameet

    In your print program you will have a function module OPEN_FORM, in the parameters of this set;
      call function 'OPEN_FORM'
        exporting
          device                            = 'PRINTER'
          dialog                            = ' '
          form                              = form_name
          language                          = sy-langu
          options                           = ls_itcpo
       exceptions
         canceled                          = 1
         device                            = 2
         form                              = 3
         options                           = 4
         unclosed                          = 5
         mail_options                      = 6
         archive_error                     = 7
         invalid_fax_number                = 8
         more_params_needed_in_batch       = 9
         spool_error                       = 10
         codepage                          = 11
         others                            = 12.
    where ls_itcpo has structure itcpo and contains the print parameters.

  • Print Screen Opens on Page Immediately - How do I stop it?

    Hi,
    First I'd like to thank blarman74 and Andy because I worked off of the information on this thread:
    Autoprint Print Friendly Page
    Autoprint Print-Friendly Page
    I created a Button: URL call to javascript:PrintPopup()
    I put this code in the report's HTML Header:
    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
    function PrintPopup () {
    var url;
    url = 'f?p=&APP_ID.:2004:&SESSION.::::::YES';
    w = open(url,"winLov","Scrollbars=1,resizable=1,width=900,height=1000");
    if (w.opener == null)
    w.opener = self;
    w.focus();
    </script>
    And in the report's Region Footer I put this code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    window.print();
    </script>
    Now, here is the problem. When I first open page 2004, the print screen opens immediately. I have to close it before I can see page 2004. Then I click the button with the URL call and the printer friendly page opens with the print screen on top. This part is good. That works beautifully.
    How do I stop the print screen from opening when I first open page 2004? I figure there is some setting I am missing or perhaps a piece of code somewhere.
    Thanks,
    Maggie

    You could put the winpopup code in the footer of the printerfriendly template.
    #FORM_CLOSE#</body>
    </html>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    window.print();
    </script>
    I then have a navigation bar which has:
    target type: A page in this application
    &APP_PAGE_ID.
    And printer friendly check box checked.
    You can then print the current page from the navigation bar.
    I don't use a button, but essentially you just want your action to be performed when the button is submitted.
