How to do a quick check on a Macbook for functionality of Id and Dw?

Hi, I'm wondering how to do a quick check on a Macbook Pro to check if its affected by any the known bugs in Id and Dw CS6?
I read that there were problems with running them with some of the 2012 MBPs so I'm currently looking at a second hand option (late2011, 2.2Ghz, 15") running Mountain Lion. From what i gather you just need to bring up a warning box in InDesign to check if its affected by this summer's API removal problem, and with Dreamweaver you just need to see if it opens to be sure you don't get a 'not compatible with this type of mac' message. Is this correct? And are there any other quick checks for functionality you'd recommend?
Id and Dw are the main programmes I'll be working on so I'd like to be sure they work on it before making a purchase.

I've been using InDesign CS6 on a MacBook Pro and on an iMac with Mountain Lion. I have no problems to report.
I don't know about Dreamweaver CS6.

As long as you share that AppleID for iCloud, you cannot. You are sharing a a single iCloud account and sync services. The only thing you can do is get a second AppleID and use it with iCloud - you do not have to use that new AppleID for anything but iCloud (ie. you can still share an AppleID for iTunes and App store purchases).
P.S. I am assuming you both want to sync your contacts with iCloud?

The Creative Cloud subscription is not OS specific as it's licensed via your Adobe ID.
You can purchase a single subscription and use it on 2 machines irrespective of it being Windows or Mac.

If the hard drive that crashed is the one that stored the itunes library, be sure to restore the library from Time Machine (mac) or whatever backup you use on windows. That will get back your music. I suspect that the replacement drive has an empty itunes library and thus, perhaps, the itunes match used that to sync to its servers.
Try posting in the iTunes Match forum, you'll probably find more knowledgeable folks there.

Based on your post it sounds like you would like to sync your iBooks content with your computer. I have located an article that may help you in this situation. While you can sync this data with your computer you can also use the sharing button to send PDFs using various sources:

I updated to iOS 8 on iPhone 5s and now iMessage will not verify my email. It has said "Verifyng" since yesterday, but has not sent a verification email. I checked my iCloud settings for that email address and it shows "pending".

It has said "Verifyng" beside it in settings since yesterday, but has not sent a verification email. I have also tried Adding it as a new email address several times, but get the same outcome. I can still send/ receive texts from my phone number, just not from the email address.
In my iCloud settings under Contact Information for that email address and it shows "pending". When I select "Resend Verification Email" I get "Cannot Connect to iCloud".

How do I install Mountain Lion on a Macbook after it was deleted and it is registered under an unknown Apple ID?

Supposedly the person has to delete it from their Apple ID.
Is this true? It is mine and was installed by a teacher under their Apple ID and now is not back until mid September!

Mac OS X, in this case Mountain Lion can only be reinstalled using the same Apple ID it was originally installed from.

I wanted to restrict windows users on desktop machines from coping folders and its files which my web services are pushing for trial purpose. i tried doing it through power shell but administrator of desktop can change the ACL permissions and can make a
copy.
is their any other way available in windows.
i feel at application level its difficult to handle.

You have some serious challenges here, since you say copying the folder and its files. There is no concept of a
Copy Operation in a Windows file system, all you will see are reads and writes. You stated it would be difficult to handle at the application level, it is worse to handle in the kernel.
Go the http://www.osronline.com and ask this question on the NTFSD list, that is where the file system experts hang out. Before asking search the archives for copy, you will find a lot of explanation on why this
is hard.
You should look whether there is someway to restrict the use of data to a limited time, if these are programs find a commercial copy protect solution, if this is data, can you wrap things such that the data is encrypted unless your application decrypts it
