How to re-initialize numbering in any marketing document

Dear All
In A/R Invoice, a numbering series with name 'Primary' is currently in use. Starting number of this series is '1' and so far, document numbers has reached till '3450'.
I want to create anothing numbering series while locking the current one and wants to re-initialize the numbering from '1' in A/R Invoice.
How is it possible? Kindly guide.

For doing this current Period should not have any Transaction .

How to carry forward any open documents in a new SAP B1 Implementation

Hi,
I want to know what are the best practices to record any open documents during a fresh SAP B1 implementation.
The client has an existing running business and may be implementing SAP B1 at the start of the financial year or during the middle of the financial year.
How do I enter the open documents as on the go-live date; documents like open Purchase Orders, open Sales Orders, open GRPO, open Deliveries, etc.
What are the multiple approaches / alternatives to evaluate and what are the best practices?
Note: I am not talking merely about the GL or Inventory Opening Balances, but the entire set of open documents!

1. When it comes to documents that post to the G/L you want those posted the day you go live as this is part of your opening balance. This would be for you A/R and A/P Invoices. Just make sure the Due Dates are correct and the G/L account is your Opening Balance account. Why? So you can run a trial balance for that day. So in your case I would either do 1-SEP-2014 or 31-Aug-2014. Again I prefer to enter them in as the day before go live so that I can easily run a Trial Balance on my opening transactions. I have yet to have the opening balance balance out on these imports.
2. I would go with the open items on the PO. Why? Less work and still accomplishes the need for open items. In all cases add the original document # from the legacy system in the remarks so you can always find the original.
3. Once again, I would go with only the open balance. Why? It is less work and you can always record any audit remarks in the remarks section of the document. Remember the goal is to import your opening balance. You do not want to step into historical data, it is not easy and takes a long time. So unless the customer is paying for it, this can become a money loser. If analysis is need on historical data, then they have their legacy system to look at.
4. The whole reason for the Service Type invoices is purely for the opening balance of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable opening balances. The document total should be the total for the amount that is owed as this is your opening balance for the A/R and A/P accounts along with the customers and vendors sub ledger.
5. Yes. It can be done through the DTW. I haven't tried the new features on the Inventory Counting, but I believe they have added an import feature. Either way should work as long as you get the inventory in the correct places and the inventory accounts to the correct value.
Remember, opening balances are meant to be the values of the legacy system as a snapshot in time. This means that inventory is correct and in the correct place and most importantly the accounts are correct. The reason for the Opening Balance account is as an offset account to the journal entries you create for importing these opening documents. In the end, the Opening Balance account should be 0 if the legacy system is balance.

Any Samples?

Are there any sample libraries of prepared materials and textures available for download which can be used with Acrobat 3D Toolkit? I have the full product (on CD) but it doesn't seem to have any. Sample javascripts would also be very useful!
Also,I don't seem to find any sample .pdf's showing off 3D capabilities or anything that resembles a tutorial. Am I not looking in the correct place perhaps?
Finally, did Acrobat 3D Toolkit evolve out of Adobe's previous Atmosphere product? If so, can materials and scripts from that product be brought over for use in the new Toolkit?

I am writing an application that has to read and to generate XML (using schemas). Unfortuantely, I cannot find any sample code on how to do it using the Oracle supplied libraries (packages oracle.xml.* . Can anyone point me to some sample code, documentation or alternative?

I didnt get your question very clearly.
1) Do you want to generate XML using Java classes based on XSD?
or
2) You want to parse XML that has a XSD specified with it?
For both these thing, we have sample codes. For the first option, there are Class Generators that does this for you. There are some samples provided with the XDK download. Look into the folder <xdk_home>xdk\demo\java\classgen.
For option 2, there are many samples on OTN itself. To name one.... AQSample downloaded from http://otn.oracle.com/sample_code/tech/dataint/content.html.
There is a sample with the JDK download also. The folder is <xdk_home>\xdk\demo\java\schema

I'm sorry, had you already pointed out the rules which stated that lines from 2 separate accounts were eligible??? I don't see anywhere in the advertisement specifically stating that lines from 2 separate accounts would be eligible, so THAT is not what's advertised, either.
As far as I know Verizon's BOGO offers have ALWAYS been for lines on the same account. Possibly someone could chime in where they have received this offer on 2 separate accounts? The ONLY exception to this was someone getting the offer with 2 eligible lines on their account, reactivating the old phone on one of the lines and then giving one of the new phones to someone on another account.

If the thief enabled activation lock on the device, then there is nothing that can be done. Only the password for the Apple ID that it is locked with can disable activation lock.

How to check to see if any Checkboxes within a subform are checked

Hi everyone, I'm sure there is a way (possibly through JavaScript) to figure out if any checkboxes in a subform are checked but I can't seem to figure it out. I'll work on uploading my form so that it will be easier to see what I'm talking about but in the mean time here is a brief explanation of how the form is setup:
my form's hierarchy is as follows:
Form1
     -(Master Pages)
     -TaxRegBusInfo
          -SubForm2
               -Checkbox1 (it will show/hide the following subform based on if it's checked or not)
                    -Q2SubForm1
                         -CheckboxA
                         -CheckboxB
                         -CheckboxC
                         etc (totaling out to about 50 checkboxes)
Basically what I'm trying to figure out is how to write some code (I'm guessing a function?) that I can use so that when someone goes through the form and selects any of the checkboxes (A,B,C, etc.) in any order or combination, a text box say something like "items checked."
I've looked into the "resolveNodes" and "instanceManager" functions as well as the Adobe LiveCycle help but I've only just started to dabble in JavaScript so I can't quite seem to figure out how to use them properly. Any help or links to beginner friendly documentation would be much appreciated!

It doesn't necessarily have to show which items are checked but it would be helpful.
