How to do hyperlink

In forms9i I want to have different labels . I want these labels to be hyperlink . So that they open other canvases. Is there a way to assign a trigger to a label .

no there is no way t assign a trigger to a lable. What you can do though is to have a text item simulating a Text label (just remove the bevel and have the background color matching your canvas. Set properties to read only and an initial value to teh string that you want the label to be). Now you can use a trigger on this label.
Another option is to have a look at the Forms9i demos that you can download from the Forms page
(Sample section). Here you find a Java bean that can make a Forms textfield becoming a real Hyperlink.

Yes you can do that. using the fieldcatalog there is an option for that. give HOT_SPOT = 'X'. for the column you want.

How to remove hyperlink in a Report region (Based on some filter condition)
Example : In Report Region, I am getting value as 10, 20, 30, 0, 44, 55, 0
In the above value, I need to remove the hyperlink for 0 values.

If you want a link column for values other than 0 and a blank for those with 0 then the best way to do this is to use a case or a decode to return a LINK image or text to a hidden column; I usually return the Edit icon only. You can then use the 'column link' region on a different column to create a link in the usual way and set the Link Text to the hidden column (e.g. #EDIT# in the example below). If you have set the target page to require a Checksum this will then be added without having to code it into your sql. E.g.

FROM your_tableIf you want the same column value, but those of 0 to not have a link and those other than 0 to have a link then you need to code the link into your sql. e.g.

If you require a checksum on the link you need to add the apex_util.prepare_url function to the URL.

I have a WEBI report which has a column called Country(Values US, UK). I have some .pdf files in my local machine and BOE server. Could anyone let me know how can I hyperlink the report to the .pdf in my local machine and in the server. There are two cases as below as questions to be answered.
Case 1
When I click on country column, a single .pdf file should open irrespective of the column values in my local machine/server
Case 2
When I click on country column, a .pdf file should open with respect to the column values in my local machine/server

Instead of cross-posting unformatted code you could have taken a look at the API, because there you might have come across a method named getLinks...Even though it's not documented, I really suspect that it will return the Hyperlinks on a given page.

Add a mouse listener, when the user double clicks - see if they've clicked on text that is a valid link.
The limitation of using textfield or textarea is that you get no styling. I dont know why you're refusing those suggestions, but you're just creating more work for yourself.

I've got the same problem here.
I want to implement a HyperlinkListener to a JLabel. (Unlike suggested above, it is only supported by JEditorPane and not JLabel)
The goal is, that if a user clicks on a Link in a JLabel, the standard browser opens and displays that page.
Can somebody please help?
My ultimate goal would be to also be able to add clickable HyperLinks in ToolTip texts, but i guess that'd be even more complicated.

Go to "Hyperlinks" in your top toolbar. Click the word "Hyperlinks" (which is hyperlinked and shows as blue text). When the little window pops up, click "Edit Link Styles". You should get a "Site Properties" window. Click the "Content" tab.
