I'm trying to not personalize this too much, but it's grandkids talking to Grandma and Mom and Dad trying to solve new machine hiccups. Normally, I could just go in via iChat and control the other machine and troubleshoot, but I can't do it with Facetime only. My buddy list doesn't see the other computer even though we are connected on Facetime right now. My name is not highlighted for the other computer. What could have gone so wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.

You can't access that on an iPad. The iPad does not have a Keychain Access type app like the Mac has. Maybe an application like iExplorer on your Mac will let you see them, but you can't see them on the iPad itself.

Your Apple ID can have up to 10 devices and computers (combined) associated with it. Each computer must also be authorized using the same Apple ID. Once a device or computer is associated with your Apple ID, you cannot associate that device or computer with another Apple ID for 90 days. You can view which devices or computers are currently associated, remove unused devices or computers, and see how long before they can be associated with a different Apple ID from the Account Information page in iTunes on your computer.

I have upgraded to 8.0 and the version number comes up correct except in most sites it says I'm running 3.5.6?? I have continually upgraded and don't know how to make websites see the upgrade.

Everytime there is an upgrade I install it. My browser says I'm using 8.0 and that my browser is up-to-date. However, when I try to install Firebug for 8.0 or any other add on it says I'm using 3.5.6. Even gmail is saying that my browser is out dated! How can I get my browser to be truly updated??

Wireless Sniffing - How to get to see the Payload?

Hello everybody. Im now trouble shooting a wireless problem. So i wannt to sniff the traffic from the device.
what ive done so far:
-set up a AP in sniffing mode
-redirected the traffic to my client.
-sniffing the traffic
i cann see the traffig on wireshark. but i cannot see the payload.
i should see the DHCP request and so on. but i cannot see this informations in wireshark.
all i see is source mac (my device) destination mac - broadcast.
i did it just like the how to told me to:

I seem to be seeing the same issue ; seeing sniffed mcast/broadcast packets from wireless clients - no unicast.
WLC is running 7.5.10.12 using (2) 3602s, 1 AP inFlexC mode, the other in sniffer mode.
I've tried using both 5G and 2.4G radios, making sure both clients and both APs are all matched.
I even used dropped that to only 2.4 and the available RF rates to max of 11M - the behavior never changes.
Using wireshark 1.10.5
Decoding packets as PEEKREMOTE.
Have set unset CAPWAP/LWWAP "swap control bit" - no difference
Enabled disabled CAPWAP "Cisco wireless controller support" - no difference
Perhaps a wireshark dissector issue? I'm seeing many/larger frames in these captures all decoded as:
IEEE 802.11 Unrecognized (Reserved frame), Flags: .........
Type/Subtype: Unknown (0x36)
Frame Control Field: 0x6c00
Curious if others with similar setup have this working correctly or not - ?

Availability checking - How Avail check can see the Reservat linked to a SO

Hii there,
We have the following issue. When we create a Sales Order, we want to reserve the stock so that when another Sales Order for the same material is created, the standard Material Availability check will know the 1st SO has x amount of stock already reserved.
We are running the standard BAPI - BAPI_MATERIAL_AVAILABILITY and using the Availabilty checking rule assinged in the Material Master and the Scope of check from Transaction OPJJ, but we are not able to force the Avail Check to acknowledge the Reservation created for the Sales Order.
The standard Reservation check on the Scope of check is only for manually created Material Reservations but we are creating ours linked to a Sales Order (movement ype 231) and although you can see the Reservation in the RESB table, the Avail check does not take this reservation into consideration.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

When we create a Sales Order, we want to reserve the stock
1) Go to material master and check what availability check is maintained. Most probably, it should have been 02
2) Next go to OVZ9, select the combination 02 => A and execute. There tick the box for "Include sales reqmts". and save
3) Now create a sale order and update the forum how it works

       In my smartform i have to print lines in the specified areas. In TABLE i m displaying the contents,
Hedings in Header & Contents in Main Area. But before headings they need a Straight line, afterheadings they need another St. line (i.e., between hedings & Contents) after the end of contents they need another st. line.
But in 'TABLE' SAP given 'SAP PATTERN' S are not suitable for this requirement.

iCloud for the basic service is free. You can buy more storage, but most users don't need it.

How to compare Date in the TextField or DateTime with Date/Time field?

I am facing an issue with respect Date comparinson. I tried to look into entire discussions but failed to get the answer.
My issue is: I wanted to comparet Date/time field value with Date value which is in TextField.
The functionality of my form is:
I have dropdown list which lists the registered customer ids binded to XML Datasource. On selection of the customer id from the dropdown I am displaying customer registration date in the TextField or say Date/Time field as below code in dropdown change event.
RegistrationDetails.PurchaseEntry.txtRegDate.rawValue = regDataNode.CREATION_DATE.value; (this is TextField control)
In form I have an Date/Time field in which use will select the date of item purchase. In the validation part I want to make sure that, the purchase date selected in Date/Time field must be greater than the Customer Registraiton Date. I able to compare if the customer selects the date from two different Date/Time fields. But how to compare the dates which one is in Date/Time field and Date is in TextField?
I have tried using Num2Date and Date2Num with "YYYY-MM-DD" format to compare but not succeed!

Yes, I am able to display the date which I have assigned to the text box. In the message box it show the value as '31/05/2009', since in this format i am assigining the date in the text box.
Here is the code which I am assigning the value:
RegistrationDetails.PurchaseEntry.txtRegDate.rawValue = regDataNode.CREATION_DATE.value;
Do I need to change the format while assigning value in text box?

How to reconcile iCloud and the moved mobile account?

I signed iCloud with my apple account (long ago) then today moved my mobileme.com and then got 2 accounts with nothing on iCloud, everything is on the migrated me account.
How can I get my data back to my iCloud acount?

What worked for me was to go into System Preferences, MobileMe pane and sign out, this was after I did the "Move to iCloud" thing.
After a little time, the iCloud showed everything as expected.
I think the servers are still slow.

How can 2 users of the same email account tell if one has already read email

I have 2 users who access the same email account and they need to know if an email has been read by the other person so work doesn't get duplicated.

I assume you are using IMAP. Probably the most simple solution is to create two folders: one for person1 and one for person2. Then when one of them reads and acts on an email, they can move it from the Inbox to their own folder. That way you still have the emails, but you know who worked on each one.
