How to do party sites purge in oracle EBS?

Hi All,
Can you guide me how to do party sites purge in oracle EBS?
Already we have standard purge program for parties. Not for party sites.
So my requirement is to purge the party sites. Please help me anybody have any ideas for this.

Hi Ravi,
My requirement is to remove party sites which are not used for last 2-3 yrs. Initially it might be used. later point of time, it might be stopped for use. so i want to remove those sites permanently. Also i want to remove cloned party sites from the database. Please suggest me how i can procedd for this. Thanks in advance.

For example: I need to create user account on Oracle EBS. Normally, I use Dataloader to upload the data, however it just can upload one by one record, cannot upload multi record at same time. Moreover if the performance of server is low, so I will get the issue when using dataloader.

Hi you can create Virtual users to enter data. Note than you have to name the objects accordingly.
For Example default recording provided by Open script is ObjectNAME_(Index No of the object).
when you record one iteration the name of any object would be ObjectNAME_(0)
You can then create virtual users so the index will increment as the total number of Virtual users increases. Also you have to handle which row of your test data would get mapped to which Virtual user in the script run session.

Welcome to the Aperture discussion forum. Congratulations. You just hijacked a thread. That's bad form for 2 reasons. First, you added a message to a thread called "How to change main window view" which makes it look like you had information to add that thread, and you did not. Second, people who can help you are more likely to read a message that has your problem in the subject than they are to read this message. I.e., you won't get what you want if you ask for something else.
That being said, when you repost your query in a new thread, you'll have to be more specific. A "Frame" is not in the regular Aperture terminology.

How to Install and Configure Discoverer with Oracle EBS R12

Hi,
We are using ,
Oracle EBS Application Version: 12.1.1
Operating System Version : OEL 5.6
Database Version : 11.1.0.7
We want to install Discoverer on Server where EBS R12 is installed. After doing initial analysis found that we need to install Application Server before installing Discoverer.. Is it right ?
If yes then which Application Server version we need to download? can anyone post guidelines about Application Server version, place from where i can download it and installation guide ?

Thanks to all of you for your valuable guidance.. We are planning to install WLS. Meanwhile i came across one document saying EUL is pre-installed for Vision instance.
For connecting to EUL_US i have installed Discoverer Administrator and Deskop (10.1.2) on my win 7 machine. After that did following steps,
1. Create folder under ORACLE_HOME (D:\oracle\BIToolsHome_1\secure)
2. Copied DBC file from $INST_TOP/appl/fnd/12.0.0/secure to "D:\oracle\BIToolsHome_1\secure" folder
3. Copied TNS entry of EBS R12 at tnsnames.ora file
4. Created environment variables FND_SECURE (D:\oracle\BIToolsHome_1\secure) and FND_TOP (D:\oracle\BIToolsHome_1)
Tried to connect to Discoverer Administrator using Database User like SYSTEM and able to connect. But when tried connecting to Discoverer Administrator or Desktop using Application user then got following error,
"Unable to connect to: cbrown@vis
Failed to connect to database - Unable to connect to Oracle Applications database: invalid username/password"
After doing some analysis on this error using Metalink and Forum made following changes,
1. Set System Profile value "Signon Password Case" to "Insensitive".
2. Updated value if the parameter "s_aapserverid_authenticate" from "SECURE" to "OFF" in context file and after that executed autoconfig.
Still not able to resolve the issue.. Can anyone guide me on this ?? So that i will be able to access Discoverer Desktop using my Vision instance Application users.

Now i have R12 64bit instance which is running on Linux 5u8 64bit machine..
for installing the endeca s/w we need to follow any pre-requests
currently i am following the doc are listed below which 1 need to follow

Hi Janice,
This is actually referring to the Endeca extensions for E-Business Suite (an Oracle ERP product suite). During my tenure at Oracle, I actually helped design the integration of the Endeca Information Discovery product for use within EBS. Branchbird has been blogging about the offering a bit too. http://branchbird.com/blog/category/e-business-suite/
That said, I was able to find everything I needed from the install directions (which are slightly updated from the version referenced in the post above). Can you please use these instructions and let me know if it still isn't clear what needs to be downloaded. You'll essentially install the OEID product (in a prep'ed integration form) by downloading the "quick install package" from edelivery. Additionally, you'll need to install patches to EBS to get it up to the right patch level. Then through a series of additional patches, you'll deploy the EBS changes required for the integraiton and patches specific to the "product" you're installing.

Contacts information updated for Party or party sites ?

Hi,
I am new to TCA and understanding the party, party sites structure in Oracle 11.5.10.
One of the questions bothering me is, if a new contact is added (for that matter even an existing contact) is for the particular party site or
does it also get updated in the party information.
e.g. I have "Business World" as Party with sites in Paris, San Jose California. Now I am trying to add a new contact and link it to Paris site.
Does the new contact get updated with a contact for the Party (i.e. Business World) and party site (i.e. Paris site)or just the party site (i.e. Paris site)
or just he party.
I am leaning towards Party, as the relationship defined in Hz_relationships table is for parties not party and party sites.
However if you can shed more light on this or point me to right reference i.e. thread or user guide that would be of great assistance.

Need to know how ILM agent can be used against Oracle EBS R12 and the options available:

Limits the Preferred Read-Write Tablespace to only 1 where as in Oracle EBS we would require multiple tablespaces to be Preferred Read Write. Can we extend the functionality of ILM assistant to have multiple Read-Write tablespaces...?

I just want to know how many processes are defined inbuilt within Oracle EBS.
Processes like for eg. Procure to Pay, Order to Invoice, etc.
And hence the details about each Process.

The scope of your question is very broad, and it is unlikely that you will be able to get a comprehensive answer on the forums. You will be better served by reviewing the user and implementation guides for the modules in which you are interested. I am currently auditing a oracle EBS implementation and I need to test the segregation of testing and the production environments, How can I approach that ?

In Oracle EBS environments TEST and PRODUCTION are different systems altogether, you can say two entities which are identical in features/data but physically different. So you may have to test on below
1.) DB level passwords (different in both instances) and are following the statndard corporate policies.
2.) Unwanted application users are end-dated in TEST instances.
3.) Data is masked appropriately in TEST instances.

Can you be more specific about your Requirement. In General, Please navigate to iRecruitment Recruiter Responisbility.
Then Select, Setup > Recruiting Sites. Here, you can configure your Third Party Websites information and attach stylesheets. The default mode oracle sends the vacancy information is HR-XML Format.
If you would like to select more sites information select "Add Another Row".
Then, you can see this information while "New Vacancy Creation Process".
