How to do planning of mdm implementation

hi
we want to install mdm in organization.
We have more than 5 company ,
and for 1 company has HR and sales diffrent server.
how to do planning or go for mdm how to implent this

HI,radhesh
i think that your problem is more like a management consulting problem,to implement mdm system is just a way to make your organization run better,to support your business systems. we always follow the ASAP methodology, and also you can refer to the checklists guide at the preparation stage.here is the link:
http://help.sap.com/nwmdm?current=netweaver&show_children=false
by the way you need a service account to log on.
hope it helps.

  • [JSF 2.0] and HTML 5? How things are planned?

    Hello,
How far is JSF 2.0 from handling HTML 5?
Of course, it surely can't handle it today, but maybe next year some of us will find the need of starting their new web site with this new HTML version.
How is it planned? Will HTML 5 be a standard feature of JSF 2 (or JSF 3?) or will it require the download of a special project: an additional component having its own lifecycle?
    How things are roughly planned?
    Regards,
    Grunt.

I predict it will be implemented as a new component library by someone, but on the server side it will probably retain the same Faces servlet (i.e. same lifecycle) making extensive use of the AJAX capabilities. What will be interesting to see is if any new server side interfaces intended to be implemented by UIComponents will show up and what they would look like.
Of course one thing very nice to have is automatic detection and backwards compatibility with non HTML-5 browsers. I predict also that will be there but not work very well.

  • How to know when invoke bytecode implements?

I've got a classfile - it has few invokeinterface bytecodes inside - their count is defined dynamically - when class is running.
And I've got a program, which runs this class.
The aim of this program - to gather statistics of invokeinterface calling frequency.
How to know when invokeinterface bytecode implements?
(In that moment I plan to update several digits)
Have You got an advise for me?
    Thanks.

You must use the debugging interface, or get a code profiler. Do a search on all forums for profiler, you'll get tons of information.

  • How difficult would it be to implement an iMessage whitelist..?

iMessage spam is a really big problem to me and my family members.  And getting worse by the week.
Blocking individual senders is ludicrously ineffective and Apple seems to be reluctant to allow us to block entire domains (which would really help).
So how difficult would it be to implement a whitelist?  (For example... I don't want any iMessages from anybody not in my Contacts list!)
I'm really close to disabling iMessage altogether.  It is barely worth the effort now.

The difficulty and time to do it depends on the learning
capability of the new programmer. Patience and a drive to learn is
what all is needed. Accomplishing one step at a time is probably
the best approach, whether you're new or well-versed.

    Hi Marcelo,
Yes, there are some requirements for certificates in Expressway.
    Expressway Core (Exp-C)
    - Can be signed by either External or Internal CA
    - Better to use a cluster name even if you start with 1 peer in Exp-C cluster. In the future, if more peers are added, changes would be minimal.
    - Better to use FQDN of cluster as CN of certificate, this way the traversal zone configuration on Expressway-E won't require any change even if new peers are added to Exp-C cluster.
    - If CUCM is mixed mode, include security profile names (in FQDN format) as Subject Alternate Names
    - The Chat Node Aliases that are configured on the IM and Presence servers. They will be required only for Unified Communications XMPP federation deployments that intend to use both TLS and group chat. (Note that Unified Communications XMPP federation will be supported in a future Expressway release). The Expressway-C automatically includes the chat node aliases in the CSR, providing it has discovered a set of IM&P servers.
    - For TLS b/w CUCM, IM-P & Exp-C
+ If using self-signed certificates on CUCM, IM/P. Load Cisco Tomcat, cup, cup-xmpp certificates from IM-P on Exp-C. Load callmanager, Cisco Tomcat certificates from CUCM on Exp-C.
+ If using Internal CA signed certificates on CUCM, IM/P. Load Root CA certificates on Exp-C.
      + Load CA certificate under tomcat-trust, cup-trust, cup-xmpp-trust on IM-P.
+ Load CA certificate under tomcat-trust, callmanager-trust on CUCM.
    Expressway Edge (Exp-E)
    - Signed by External CA
    - Configured Unified Communications domain as Subject Alternate Name
    - If using a cluster, select FQDN of this peer as CN and FQDN of Cluster + this peer as Subject Alternate Name.
    - If XMPP federation is being deployed, enter the same Chat Node Aliases as entered in Exp-C.

  • How to Load Planning Adapter for SAP R/3 into DIM

I'm sucessfully instaled Oracle-Hyperion Data Integration Managenet v.11.1.1.1, now i need to extract data from SAP R/3 and load it into a Planning application. I understand that i must use an adaptaer for Planning, i already have HyperionPlanning.reg file and other .reg and .jar files. At this point I don't know what i must do with this files and how can load planning adapters into Data Integration Management.
I appreciate any information, there is not a lot information abour DIM in the web, even in the Oracle EPM Documentation site.
    My best regards,
    Melvin.

    hi,
not very nice but and not really satisfying:
if the users of the remote-users for the logon from the BWs onto the one R/3 differ you could use sy-uname to check what bw is extracting ...
everything else is a bit more complex

  • How to check plan line items for plan cost at network activity level?

    Dear all,
How to check plan line items for plan cost at network activity level? The plan cost is done in network activity in CJ20N.
I am not able to check using CJI4 or CJI9 report.
    Kindly advise.
    Thanks and regards,
    Jessie

    Hi Jess,
Have you checked the navigation part which is being displayed on left hand side of report S_ALR_87013565 and S_ALR_87013533.? There you have option to check transaction currency and object currency when you double click on it.
In case if it is not being displayed under navigation. Then you can bring them on from transaction code CJE2. For eg: Report group for S_ALR_87013533 is 12KST1C. Double click on it and it will open up to do changes in report layout and many more. There you also have options to bring on transaction currency too. Similarly, you can check for other report groups as well just by checking the report description.
But I am not sure if suits your requirements. Wait for other experts to comment on this.
    Regards,
    Amit

  • How to use MVC using MDM as backend... in Webdynpro for java

    Hi,
How to use MVC using MDM as backend.. when we r using R/3 we used to create RFC model. I dont know how to use it here..
    Regards,
    laxmi.

    Haii
Create a data a source using ur ODBC tool. This can be found in Administrative tools of windows.
In ur connectino class u can write the following code
    Class.forName("sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver");
Connection con=DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc.odbc.dsnname u have given when u created data source","user namet","pwd");( I think there is no need to give username when u connect to ur access)
The connection "con" is ready to use.. Put these statements inside a try catch...
I think i have explained enough..

  • How to connect Template project and Implementation project

    Hi Experts,
I would like to know how to connect Template project and Implementation project
        in Solution maneger.   Please help.
    Best regards,
       Gaito

    Hey Gaito,
great. Now that you have a template project, you need to create one or more templates within the project template.
Go to tab Templates (of your Templ Proj) and activate 'Global Rollout Functionnality' to be able to use the templates.
Create a new template thanks to button create. Visibility will be set to red 'private'. You ll have to set it to visible so it becomes visible from your implementation project.
You ll see when trying to do that next message 'No scenarios/configuration structures assigned to the template XXXX'. That means that in SOLAR01 you did not define a scenario that ll be used in template you re trying to create
In order to do that go to SOLAR01 for template project, select/create scenarios in tab structure and set in column template value of your template (the one you re creating in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN) and in Global Attribute set value t Global
You l definitely find more info on this in sap document SMI310 (course). I don t know if you can find it on internet
    Hope this helps
    Regards
    Khalil

  • How to do Transportation in MDM.

How to do Transportation in MDM.

    Hi Riche,
There is nothing like transportation in MDM.
There are 2 options for copying data structure created.
    1. Archiving the repository, unarchiving the reository in the required system. By doing this you get entire structure, recordcs, validations etc.
    2. Exporting only the schema. By doing this only the structure created in MDM will be present in the xml. This particular XML can be used to create a repository.

  • How to activate planning version

    hi,
    sap gurus,
in which t.code we will create planing version for product allocation.
please explain how to activate planning version in product allocation.  when we go T.CODE MC93
there the planning version 'A00' showing active instead of '000' which works as a updation when ever requried.

    Dear,
    A00 is active version
What we need to do is create inactive version say 001 or 010 anything and forcast sales plan or production plan
Creat sales plan in MC87 and then goto MC88 make this inactive plan to active plan which system automatically takes to A00
    Logistics u2192 Production u2192 SOP u2192 Planning u2192 Version Managementu2192 MC78 Copy
So here in the Source Version Provide the SOP version that you have created,
In the Target Version give Version A00
    Hope clear to you.
