  • How to select the correct routing for production order?

In table PLPO i have 4 different group numbers for a particular routing. I'm wondering how a production order, created in CO01, selects which one to use. Our base quantity is dz/hr. When I create an order for a particular material, it shows up as 290 as the base quantity. The group 1 is 400dz/hr, not 200. Why does the order choose this group number and not the group number 1.
Here is a screen from PLPO table.
Here is a screen showing the material master.
This is an image of the order details within the created order.

    PLPO contains operations
The planselection would be based on PLKO entries.
Please check online help to first get a better understanding on how routings are selected.

  • How to replenish warehouse pick bins for production orders

    Hi All,
Currently in WM we use LP22 to replenish the pick bins, here LP22 considers all the outbound deliveries for creating the replenishment TRu2019s
In the similar fashion how can I use LP22 to consider Production orders (raw materials and their quantities) for replenishing the pick bins? My aim is to replenish the pick bins not just for the outbound deliveries but also for the production orders
Please suggest if this can be accomplished using LP22 by running in different ways or there is different transaction.
FYI: the materials that are ordered in the outbound and production order are same
    Please suggest
    Thank you

  • Exclude stock reserved for production order from availability check

    Hi Experts,
We have a problem in the availability check.
There is a material used as selling product and components in the same time.
When the material has been reserved completely for a production order, the new sales order still get confirmed despite there is no physical stock at all!
Please advise how to exclude the stock reserved for production order from the availability check in sales order? Many thanks!
    Regards,
    Qiang

Go to MM02 and check what availability check is maintained for that material.  Next go to OVZ9, select that available check with the combination "A" and maintain "X"  or  "F"  in the field  "Incl.production orders".

  • Production scheduling profile for production order type 10 does not exist – SAP Message No.10085

When i tried to make confirmation for Production Order through CO15 transaction , i receive the following error message “ Production scheduling profile for production order type 10 does not exist – SAP Message No.10085 “
In Work Scheduling view, Production Scheduling Profile is maintained as per OPKP only.
How to check whether production scheduling profile is maintained for relevant order type 10.
To do this , i went to OPKP & KOT2_OPA transactions but i don’t know how to check. I guide me through with a screen shot.
Also, pls explain about  “Order Type 10” and how it is linked with material and order execution.
Looking for a detailed explanation with screen shots , since i am new to SAP.
    Thanks With Regards,
    Dinesh Kumar V.

    Hello Dinesh,
Please check the order type dependent parameter in OPL8 here you will get the Substitute Scheduler
Then go to OPCH and check valid production scheduling profile assign here as per OPKP to your production scheduler for your plant.
Production order have Order category as 10  Process Order  40 in standard SAP you can check this in OPJH.

  • Output type for production order

Hi, when we save the production order, we wants to transfer the prod order header details in legacy system thru idocs. Trying to define output type for production orders in NACE t-code, could not find production order option there. Pls advise in this case how to define the output type for production order so that the header data will be taken by idoc and transfered to legacy. Pls advise.

    Hi,
production orders don't have output types like SD orders.
But they have status control and events. Look into the object type BUS2005 in transaction SWO1. There you find the events which are fired by SAP, eg. ProductionOrder.Released.
Which Idoc type do you want to use?
I think you have to programm your own method for the Idoc creation. Put it into a workflow task and assign it to the event.

  • Making WBS  mandatory for Production order

    Dear All,
Please suggest how can I make WBS  mandatory for production order.
    Regards,
    Vishal

    Hi Vishal,
Not sure if you have found the solution. But this can be achieved by a transaction variant, via SHD0.
    Good luck.

  • GR for production order

    Hello,
Perhaps somebody has faced this problem...
During goods receipt for production order via MIGO with 101 movement
type for split-valueted materials a new valuation type is not created
for the materials despite it is set on the screen (batch number =
valuation type). No error messages occur.
    Thank you.

    Alexx,
I do not know if I have misunderstood you question.
Are you asking that you want a new valuation type to be created during goods receipt. If yes then let me tell you it is not possible.
Valuation types are assigned to the valuation category in customisation. You cant create new one during GR. You need to enter the Val type and batch number during GR. Then the Val type is assigned to the batch. You can see this in MSC3N.
If the valuation type is already entered in the prod order then automatically the val type is populated in the GR. You need to enter the Batch number alone.
    Hope this clarifies your doubt.
    Regards

  • SRM 4.0- How to set the default values for product type (01) only for SC

The radio button “Service” should not be visible.
Also for search help (e.g. search for internal products) where a search should only be possible for product type 01 (goods). The system should not display the product type and internally always search for goods only.
How to set the default values for product type (01) only for SC
We needs to use Search help BBPH_PRODUCT which having parameter PRODUCT_TYPE
Here we can set defalut value 01 but it is not correct one since same search help is using several places.
We need to limit the search help results only for SC.
    Kindly help out me ASAP.

The easiest way to set defautl values is to edit the batch class.
Goto the characteiristic and go to update values.
In here you probably have something like 0 - 100 as a spec range.
On the next line enter the default value within this range.  At the end of the line, click in the box in the column labelled "D".  This indicates the defautl value for the characteristic.
If you need to you can do this in the material classification view as well.
Just to be clear, these values will only show up in the batch record.  You can not have defautl values in resutls recording screens.

  • How can I add a new line item for production order?

    HI all,
How can I add a new line item for production order through BAPI/FM? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Mil,
Unfortunetly SAP is not in front of me.
But if possible go to BAPI transaction , check for any production order's bapi for CHANGE purpose. Where you will be able to add your new line.

  • How to restrict the GR for Production Order when Goods Issue is not done

    Hi Gurus
How to restrict the GR for Production Order when all the required components for production order are not issued with all required quantity. Even for partial issue system should not allow GR with 101. The user status with RMWA, RMWF & CGFB is not working.
    Pls suggest best solution.
    Abhijit.

    Hi,
You can club together the GI nad GR at the time of confirmation..
I.e Backflush for the components and auto GR for the Product.
So that you can stream line the Process.
The best Option would be to use the User Exit:
    Enhancement - MBCF0002
    Functional Module - EXIT_SAPMM07M_001
    Include - ZXMBCU02

  • How to use the selection profile and status profile for production order?

    Hi expert,
I want to know how to use the selection profile and status profile for production order. what's the usage for these two selection profile and status profile ?
      Please help me.
      thanks in advance.
      george.shi

    Hi George,
There are are two types of statuses. One is system status and second one is user status. These statuses will tell us current situation of an order.
We can't change system statuses. But we can create our own statuses through status profile. With this profile we can control user statuses.
    In this status profile,
1.We define the sequence in which user statuses can be activated,
    2.We define initial statuses
    3. Allow or prohibit certain business transactions.
Selection profiles are used to select the objects (say production orders) with different status combinations. We assign status profiles to selection profiles in BS42 T-Code.
    Regards,
    Raja.

I just updated to 10.8 Mountain Lion from 10.7.5.  Now I must enter my admin password each time I attempt to access my main hard drive.  How do I reverse the need for the password?  It's a real PAIN!

I'd think you have a Keychain problem (Keychain storing passwords and the likes).
When you are being asked, are you offered the checkbox, "Remember this password in my Keychain"? If so, check and see if it stops asking.

  • XL Reporter - Prompting for Production Order Number - How to?

I have watched the FlashBook's for creating reprots, and following the directions. When I go to create a new Paramater, the Document Number is not an available Dimension.
Can anyone point me in the right direction in setting up an XL Reporter report that prompts for Production Order number / Document ID? How do you create prompts for record ID's?
    Thanks.

Thank you for the help. This gets me closer then I was before.
To test, I am list listing the Production Order Document Number and the Due Date. Looking to list only the Production Order and Due Date from a prompted Production Order.
I tried both Cell Expansion and Row Expansion using the parameter you suggested. Cell Expansion returns all documents, but with a document number of 0. Row expansion gives me an error.
I have captured all the screen shots and posted them to the web. If you wouldnt mind taking a quick look. I am sure something I am doing is off, but feel I am close with your help.
