How to do underline/bold record in table conditionally
Hi,
I need to do conditional formatting for a particular record in table.
if column A <>'VAL' then underline/bold value.
I tried the below code for doing bold for single field.
<?for-each:G_LINE_NUMBER?>
<?variable@incontext: ful?><?LINE_NUM?><?end variable?>
<?variable@incontext:VAR1;substring(FULL_NAME,1,3) ?>
<?if:string($VAR1) ='Klu'?><xsl:attribute xdofo:ctx="block" name="font-weight">bold</xsl:attribute><?string($ful)?><?end if?>
<?end for-each?>
This works fine for bold.Do I need to apply this piece of code for all the fields else is there any other way to do that?
And also I tried for underline but its not working.
<?if:string($VAR1) ='Klu'?><xsl:attribute xdofo:ctx="incontext" name="text-decoration">underline</xsl:attribute><?string($ful)?><?end if?>
Please suggest.
Thanks in advance,

How to copy the table1selected records into table 2 in webdynpro java.
Hi
how to copy the table1selected records into table 2 in webdynpro java.
venkat
Edited by: venkatpvr on Sep 23, 2011 11:53 AMHi Venkat,
You have 2 Value Nodes one for Table1 and second for Table2.
Table1 node having one more Value Attribute i.e check Box data type is Boolean. Now you are requirement are select records from Table1 Node and click on One Method that records will moves to Second Table2 Node.
Create One Method for getting the Records from 1-Table to 2-Table
CopytoTable2 ()
In this method you have to write code like this
If (wdContext.nodeTable1.Checkbox(true))
If(1. Check the Table1 Value Node Size()>0)
Get the Table1 records and set to table2 Value node.
Else
Please select check box// Error message
Hope this helps!!

Data of those tables are :
PERSON :

PROJECT
| PK | CODE_NAME |

And now I want to add a new record into table XREF : insert into XREF
values (1,1);
public void createData() {
Xref xref = new Xref();
Person person = new Person(1);
Project project = new Project(1);
xref.setPerson(person);
xref.setProject(project);
person.getXrefs().add(xref);
person.getXrefs().add(xref);
pm.currentTransaction().begin();
pm.makePersistent(xref);
pm.currentTransaction().commit();
I don't know why Kodo automatically insert new record to table PERSON ->
confilct Primary Key. The errors are :

Exception in thread "main"First off, use the '-primaryKeyOnJoin true' flag when running the reverse
mapping tool so that you can get rid of that useless Xref class and have
a direct relation between Person and Project. See the documentation on
reverse mapping tool options here:
http://www.solarmetric.com/Software/Documentation/latest/docs/ref_guide_pc_reverse.html
But your real problem is that you are creating new objects, assigning
primary key values, and expecting them to represent existing objects.
That's not the way JDO works. If you want to set relations to existing
objects in JDO, you use the PM to look up those objects. If you try to
create new objects, JDO will assume you want to insert new records into
the DB, and you'll get PK conflicts like you see here.
There are several good books out on JDO; if you're just starting out with
it, they might save you a lot of time and help you master JDO quickly. -
How to save the selected records from Table control in dialog programming
Hiiiiiiii Every1
Actually the problem is like this:-
I have to select some records from table control and then want to save the selected records in DB table.
Example
I have some rows having inforamtion bout employees...
Now what i want is that when i click on 'SAVE' button then these selected rows should be moved into DB table.
Sachin Dhingrasee below example, I have added INSERT option after DELETE option.

How to return to first record in table after a while statement?
Hi,
I'm trying to multiply data from two different tables to get a distance between two points - I only want to return the result if the distance is less than 0.15 metres. It loops ok the first time but dies once I get into the second while for the second time. I'm sure I have the logic wrong, I just can't figure out the right way. I haven't used Java or programmed in four years so apologises if the answer is ridiculously simple!

Duplicate records in TABLE CONTROL
Hi folks,
i am doing a module pool where my internal table (itab) data is comming to table ontrol(ctrl).then i need to select one record in table control & then i press REFRESH push button.
after putting the refresh button, some new records are comming to that same internal table.then i need to display the modified internal table (some new records are added) data in the table control.
The modified internal table data is comming to the table control but to the last of table control, some records are repeating.
before comming to table control, i checked the modified itab. it contains correct data.i.e it contains 15 records.(previously i have 5 records.after REFRESH button 10 more records are added.). but when this table is comming to table control, it contains some 100 record.i should get only 15 record.
why these records r repeting. how to delete the duplicate records from table control?
plz suggest me where i am doing mistake.
correct answer will be rewarded
Thanks & RegardsHi ,
Thanks for ur help. but i should not refresh the internal table as some records r already present.after putting the REFRESH button, some new records r appending to this existing table.then i am going to display the previous records & the new records as well.
i checked the internal table after modification.it contains actual number of records. but after comming to table control , more records r comming.
is this the problem with scrolling or waht?
plz suggest where i am doing mistake.i am giving my coding below.

How to maintain previous and record count in audit table in SQL Server 2008 r2?
Hi Experts ,
Situation :
in our database we are having few of stored procedures which will drop and recreates the tables and it is scheduled on weekly basis. when this job will run all the stored procedures will drop all the tables and recreate. Now we need to create one table which
will maintain history of the records.
my table structure is listed below
TableName CurrentReocrdCount CurrentExecutionDate PreviousReordCount PreviousExurtiondate
TEST 1000 2014-03-30 NULL NULL
Test 1500 2014-04-10 1000 2014-03-30
Test 2000 2014-04-11 1500 2014-04-10
How do i achive this .
franklinsentilYou need to create audit tables for these. The table will be populated by COUNT value inside stored procedure. Each time it clears the main table and fills new data and also logs count details to audit tables. You can use COUNT(*) to get count value
and GETDATE function to get current execution value.
So proc will look like
CREATE PROC procname
@param....
AS
--step to drop existing table
IF OBJECT_ID('tablename') IS NOT NULL
DROP TABLE <table name>
--step to fill new table
SELECT ...
INTO TableName
FROM
--Audit table fill step
INSERT AuditTable (TableName,CurrentRecordCount,CurrentExecdate,PrevRecordCount,PrevExecDate)
SELECT TOP 1 'TableName',(SELECT COUNT(*) FROM tableName),GETDATE(),CurrentRecordCount,CurrentExecDate
FROM AuditTable
ORDER BY CurrentExecDate DESC
UNION ALL
SELECT 'TableName',(SELECT COUNT(*) FROM tableName),NULL,NULL
WHERE NOT EXISTS (SELECT 1 FROM AuditTable)
GO

How to proces the record in Table with multiple threads using Pl/Sql & Java
I have a table containing millions of records in it; and numbers of records also keep on increasing because of a high speed process populating this table.
I want to process this table using multiple threads of java. But the condition is that each records should process only once by any of the thread. And after processing I need to delete that record from the table.
Here is what I am thinking. I will put the code to process the records in PL/SQL procedure and call it by multiple threads of Java to make the processing concurrent.
Java Thread.1 }
Java Thread.2 }
.....................} -------------> PL/SQL Procedure to process and delete Records ------> <<<Table >>>
Java Thread.n }
But the problem is how can I restrict a record not to pick by another thread while processing(So it should not processed multiple times) ?
I am very much familiar with PL/SQL code. Only issue I am facing is How to fetch/process/delete the record only once.
I can change the structure of table to add any new column if needed.
Thanks in advance.
Edited by: abhisheak123 on Aug 2, 2009 11:29 PMCheck if you can use the bucket logic in your PLSQL code..
By bucket I mean if you can make multiple buckets of your data to be processed so that each bucket contains the different rows and then call the PLSQL process in parallel.
Lets say there is a column create_date and processed_flag in your table.
Your PLSQL code should take 2 parameters start_date and end_date.
Now if you want to process data say between 01-Jan to 06-Jan, a wrapper program should first create 6 buckets each of one day and then call PLSQL proc in parallel for these 6 different buckets.

How to update record in Table control
Dear Friends,
I have table control that has space for 10 records but i need to update 15 record from the flat file which is getting into the table how can i do this.
Regards,
MAHENDRA.Hi,
you record for an item and then click on page down and save it.use the loop on this bdc to populate the the bdc table no need to do manually.
LOOP AT l_i_dettab_item INTO l_wa_dettab_item..
l_cursor = l_cursor + 1.
IF l_cursor GT 1.
PERFORM bdc_field USING 'BDC_OKCODE'
'=P+'.
ENDIF.
PERFORM cursor_pos_notation USING 'V_EAN_DET001- GTIN_VARIANT_TYP'
l_cursor
CHANGING l_cursor_notation.
PERFORM cursor_pos_notation USING 'V_EAN_DET001-VTWEG'
l_cursor
CHANGING l_cursor_notation.
PERFORM bdc_field USING l_cursor_notation
l_wa_dettab_item-vtweg.
PERFORM cursor_pos_notation USING 'V_EAN_DET001-DATEFROM'
l_cursor
CHANGING l_cursor_notation.
PERFORM bdc_field USING l_cursor_notation
l_v_date.
PERFORM bdc_field USING 'BDC_CURSOR'
l_cursor_notation.
PERFORM bdc_field USING 'BDC_OKCODE'
'=SAVE'.
ENDLOOP.
Here my ok code for page down is =P+ so i am looping on the table control data and then populating the bdc table after this i will populate the remaing info required for the call transaction and refresh bdcdata.
thats it no need to do recording 1000 times.
now if u do like this it doesn't depend on the number of records on table control.
it will take all the records.
Reward if useful.

sasi

How can we do the validation for non visible records in table control.
Hi Experts,
I have a table control which displays list of material details. I have a button to upload the material details from excel file to table control directly. I have to validate all the customers which are exist in the table. But my item (Material) table control displays only 5 rows i.e only 5 entries are visible in module pool screen. The validation is done for 5 records only in PAI event, but i need to do validation for rest of the records too (Which are not visible on items table), if validation fails then needs to display error message.
How can we do the validation for non visible records in table control.
Regards,
BujjiHi,

How do i put bold on a specific row text i a Table
Hej
I want to put a bold font on a text to show that this day is booked in my calendar. Im creating the Table in one class (MyCalendar) and then i pass that table to the GUI which shows the table.
So, how to i put bold on a text when i create the table in MyCalendar (I have marked the code where i want bold):
public DefaultTableModel calendarMonthArray(int year, int month, int daysInMonth)
String[] columnNames = {"Man", "Tirs", "Ons", "Tors", "Fre", "Lr", "Sn"};
Object[][] data = new Object[5][columnNames.length];
int days = 1;
for(int i = 0 ; i <= 4; i++)
for(int j = 0 ; j <= 6; j++)
if(days <= daysInMonth){
if(bookingList.checkDate(year, month, days))
data[i][j] = days; *<--- Here i want to add bold on the text because there the day is booked*
}else{
data[i][j] = days;
days++;
table = new DefaultTableModel(data, columnNames);
return table;
}if(days <= daysInMonth){
if(bookingList.checkDate(year, month, days))
data[i][j] = days; *<--- Here i want to add bold on the text because there the day is booked*
}else{
data[i][j] = days;
}instead of having the condition check here you should put it in the GUI logic where you are putting the content of this table.
Ok. you might not have access to bookingList there then second solution is declaring one more array of type boolean and set it to true where you need bold on the text. send
the same to your GUI Logic.
