How to do Video monitoring  with javaFX2.0

I want to do a video monitoring System with javaFx2.0 but i don,t know how to do it , who can help me ?thanks!

Camera control is a big one for me too (snapshots, more than video). I have a tablet application that needs to take photos out in the field and store them. It's a borderline show-stopper actually, although I'm hoping I can do something hacky with some background stuff and facade my own GUI over the top of it. The OP may find something like this works for them too. Check out this for some tips: http://www.mutong.com/fischer/java/usbcam/
There's been a lot of work done in the JMF space (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/tech/index-jsp-140239.html). Does the JFX team need to re-implement all this? Can't we just integrate with what's there?
As an aside, 2013 is a fair way off and if JFX is wanting to compete in the 'gaming' space, camera and audio control will be important (e.g. http://www.smartfoxserver.com/ has a video API and it's used for [url http://www.littlespaceheroes.com/]Club Penguin or [url http://www.littlespaceheroes.com/]Little Space Heroes - would be great to see things like this come across to JFX - one platform for everyone!).
Cheers,
zonski

Next time before having to pay this regular Microsoft tax, include your iTunes library with your computer's backup per the instructions included with this link.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1751
iTunes includes an option to transfer iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store from an iPod, iPad, or iPhone, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store only.
First you need to re-authorize your computer with your iTunes account with iTunes if you haven't already done so. With your iPad connected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPad.

how to use video conference with life messenger, how to use video conference with msn life messenger

    Hi,
Do you mean Window Live Messenger or it's Mac equivalent MSN for Mac ?
Actually the app comes with Office
In the Microsoft Office X (2001 version) it was still called MSN  Messenger
In Office 2008 it was called Microsoft Messenger.
The current one that can also be  downloaded as a standalone app  also comes with Office 2011 is also called Microsoft Messenger.
This is version 8 and this version is the only one that can Video Chat as a standalone app.
Version 7 required you  were in a mixed environment (with PCs) connected to the correct sort of Windows Server.
This page may help you further.

  • FCP & CRT Video Monitors with 24" iMac

I am considering the purchase of a 24" iMac with the optional 7600GT video card for video editing. I have read that the $19 Apple "Mini-DVI to Video Adapter" will give me audio and SVGA outputs to connect to a TV/CRT monitor. But I have read many user comments that claim the LCD display in the iMac suddenly changes resolutions when this Mini-DVI adapter is plugged into the iMac. But those comments don't say if it happens to every iMac (including the new 24") or just to older iMacs. I also wonder if the 7600GT video card makes any difference.
My intention is to edit video in FCP on this 24" iMac and I wish to view full resolution standard video on a CRT video monitor. But I would prefer it if the resolution of the iMac screen didn't change while I view the video on the CRT monitor. I want to see the iMac display at full resolution and the CRT video monitor at its full resolution, at the same time. Is this possible with a 24" iMac that has the 7600GT video card? Or am I forced to get a more expensive Mac Pro system to accomplish this feat?
    Many thanks.

As Zeb pointed out, your method is NOT the way to properly view FCP's output on an external TV monitor. To do it the right way, you'll first need to determine which video formats you'll be working with; all DV25 formats can be monitored via the Firewire output through a qualified DV device (camcorder, VTR or converter). All other formats will require the addition of a dedicated card, such as those offered by Kona and Decklink, or a box like the MXO by Matrox.

  • How to use  two monitors with my Mac mini

    Hello,
I have a Mac mini and using a 20" Samsung Monitor with it which works well. I also have my 40" LCD Samsung telly, set up next to it. Whenever i watch a DVD using my Mac i have to swap over the cables. Is there a way of getting the right cables etc and making it so i would be able to watch a dvd on the 40" and still use the 20" surfing the net etc. I had a similar set up with my old windows laptop, but cant seem to work out how do it with the mac. Both monitors have modern sockets, the 40in has HDMI/DVI IN and AGV, the 20" has AGV and HDCP/DVI IN. Many thanks.

To the best of my knowledge there is no way to use dual displays on the Mini. You may be able to find some adapter that will allow you to physically connect two displays, but they will be mirrored, not spanned.
To do what you describe would take spanning, which the Mini is not capable of doing. Unless something has changed recently,..

  • How to use one monitor with two Power Macs

I searched this forum and was unable to find an answer. Although I believe it's probably here.
Nevertheless, I have a Power Mac G5 and a rarely used Power Mac G3. I'd like to share the G5's VGA Accusync 120 CRT monitor with the G3. I know there is a way to switch the monitor between computers without pulling plugs in and out of the machines.
Does anyone have any specific switch I could buy to solve this issue. I don't care so much for picture quality for the G3. But I don't want to compromise picture quality for the G5.

You're looking for what's called a KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) switch.
This one should do what you're looking for. I've not used it, but it does VGA switching like you want and is inexpensive.

  • External Video Monitor with iMac possible.

    Dear friends,
recently i have bought one imac 21.5" mid 2010 model. i am a film maker. i make TVC s, corporate docu, docu and short films. previously i worked hiring differnt post production studios but with growing volume of work i there was need for a personal edit setup. i have FC Studio 7 installed in my imav. i wanted to connect one external video monitor to facilitate the edit work flow. 1st i bought and connected a mini dp to vga adaptor and connected my 6 series samsung lcd tv with it. but the result was not satisfactory. now the lcd tv have become the second monitor and the system was working as dual monitor system. i wanted 1 video monitor as we get in pro studios. then i bought 1 mini dp to HDMI adapotor and connected it with the lcd tv throgh HDMI cable. fantastic. system took it automatically. Now i opened FCP, set a/v display to full screen, audio out to HDMI then view>external video>full frame. and u are through. now yuo can see the time line output in the LCD tv with sync audio. cheers. any better way to calibrate the second monitor?

Thanks a lot for your help.
If i consider an old model, maybe one with a DisplayPort input (late 2009 or mid 2010 iMac), is there a chance to connect the card with the DP input with a simple cable, or to verify the compatibility? The card has a DP output but many articles say that screen flickering or blue screen is the result...

  • How can I video chat with someone who uses web based yahoo?

Not long ago I purchased my first Mac (New MacBook Pro 2.53GHZ); last Summer I also purchased a MacBook Pro for my daughter. Everything works great (like driving a formula one Porsche after grappling with a battered pick-up truck (meaning Windows) for many decades; cannot imagine ever going back. But, there is one issue that I have not been able to solve and for which I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or advice. I am familiar with ichat and with AIM (my daughter uses it all the time). However, the vast majority of people with whom I communicate via IM live in parts of the world where very few people have even a computer at home much less residential internet access. As a result, near all of the folks I would be chatting with have to use public computers (internet cafes, libraries, etc) and obviously they cannot install AIM or anything else on those public computers. About 90% of them use the web based yahoo messenger which can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection (most of the rest use MSN). My question is this: I know how to do video chat in ichat but ichat does not support yahoo. How can I do video chat with someone who is using web based yahoo on a public computer that has a USB web cam? I was able to do this on my old PC which had a plug in web cam but do not know how it might work on a Mac. Should I install yahoo messenger on my MacBook Pro and will that work for me?. I know about some other Mac compatible chat clients such as Admiun but as far as I can tell none of them support video chat or in some cases yahoo. Perhaps I am overlooking something. I would be very grateful for any suggestions or advice in this matter. Thanks to anyone who reads this post and has any helpful info.

    Zurich,
I don't think the web-based Yahoo Messenger supports video, so nothing you can do with that.
    http://messenger.yahoo.com/features/
I think there are Mac compatible MSN clients that will do video, (i.e. aMSN) Also, Microsoft plans on releasing an updated version of Messenger for Mac soon.
    http://www.officeformac.com/blog/An-Update-on-Messenger-for-Mac
GoogleTalk does have a browser based video chat, but your friends would need to install a browser plug-in. (which I would assume that can't do either)
The best option is Skype, but also requires an install on their end (I would think that the internet cafes would/should have this available)
    Good Luck,

  • How to calibrate 2 monitors with Spyder 2 Suite?

    Hi there!
I've just replaced my 24" imac with a new Mac Pro and two shiny new Samsung 206bw 20" displays.
My question is how do i calibrate both monitors with my Spyder 2 Suite?
It only seems to offer calibration for one monitor?
    Any help would be great.

That's because the software thinks you changed your primary monitor. Each monitor will have its own color profile as long as you don't give them both the same name.

  • Can I use my iPad as video monitor with my Canon 5D II?

    HI,
All is in the title. I'd like to use my iPad as video monitor for my Canon 5D II.
(I don't want to use Wireless system)
Maybe a solution with HDMI adaptator and an app? (I guess if we have HDMI video out, we can also have video in... just a software stuff...)
I know a lot of peoples really want to use their iPad like this (and by the way, don't have to buy a new external monitor for Their DSLR)
    Thanks by advance,
    NBS

Right now, there is no way to do that real time.   Sooner or later somebody will write the app for that, but now, there is no way.  You can certainly xfer pics and videos from the camera to watch, but that is as far as it goes.

  • How to do Video Conferencing with PC users

Does anyone know how to video conference with for example MSN messenger users? I want to video conference with my sister who only has a PC she is trying to do this via MSN messenger can it be done and how?
    iMac G5   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

Try aMSN and Mercury Messenger, both of which are MSN clients that support webcam/video chat. Yahoo Messenger (the official client) also has webcam support, but of course your sister would have to download Yahoo Messenger. Finally, I've heard reports that iChat on the Mac and AIM 5.9 on the PC will allow video chats.

  • How to mark video tracks with rating from iPod itself?

Is it possible to mark video podcasts with a rating (1-4 stars) on the iPod itself, and have this info go back into the iTunes library when I sync? If so, how?
    Mike

No, you can't rate video, only audio tracks (i.e. music).

  • How to start video chat with another mac

i tried to start a video chat with my daughter living in another province. what do we have to do to start the video chat?

Each of you needs and Apple ID and password so you can sign in to Face Time. Then one of you "calls" the other using the Apple ID or e-mail address of the person whom you are calling. The party being called will hear their Face Time start ringing with a new window that has an Accept and Reject button at the bottom of the window. Click on Accept to start up the call. It may take a few second for the two to sync up with each other.

  • How can I video chat with a Windows user?

I just bought an iSight and have created an AIM account. I am trying to video chat with family who have Windows, a Logitech camera and also use AIM or MSN Messenger. We are unable to successfully chat. I can only see myself on the video. Can you please tell me if it is even possible to chat across platforms or are we out of luck?
    Thanks

my mother is on a PC and i gave up trying to connect with her via iChat and AOHell. my solution was:
    http://www.yakforfree.com/
thats the only way i can talk to my fam back home. it is easy, works without a hitch. occassionally the audio can be a little choppy, but if you need to you can also connect via skype for the sound:
    http://skype.com/
(which doesnt have video for mac yet)
AIM used to work fine before they released triton. i expressed some frustration in this thread:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=303012&tstart=0
and i encourage everyone to contact apple feedback:
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/ichat.html
and tell them to make their own cross platform version of iChat.
    good luck everyone.
