How to down load a cd to a flashdrive on imac

I am having trouble downloading a cd demo to a flashdrive. Can anyone help me figure it out?

hop onto disk utility ( in utilities, or use spotlight)
click on your CD in the window to the left (the actual cd name under "Superdrive")
click on "File > New > Disk Image from (your CD name) "
choose a compressed image and wait for the image to be created.
your image will now be located on the bottom left.
plug your flash drive in, click on it and choose "Restore".
Flash drive is the destination and the source will be your image.
you may need to scan the image before it works (images > scan image for restore).
wait for it to be transferred, your flash drive will be a clone of your cd!
this is a great way of backing up your old OS X installation DVD's and will be a heck of a lot quicker.

Ive got the same problem, just got my iphone unlocked, and they told me to sync it to itunes to get it permently unlocked, well everytime i plug my iphone in it says; it wont work as it needs up dating to 10.6.3, which i have already updated, but still doesnt work, so how can i get my phone unlocked?

I read the thread question differently than you did I think. I did not think the DVD in question was a commercial DVD. However, you have much more experience in this discussion board than I do. You probably have seen this question many times and assumed (apparently correctly) that it was a commercial DVD.
I was answering the question based on it being a DVD created within a work/home environment that is needed to be put on the iPad. I have been toying around with that exact process in the past week. Work training videos etc, that I have created, put on DVD then downloaded to my iPad for travel and display.

If you're asking how to get the files from your remote server...
1. Define a site in DW using an empty folder for your local root: GS-01: Defining a new site | Learn Dreamweaver CS5 & CS5.5 | Adobe TV
2. Add your FTP information to the site definition
3. Click the Get button (down arrow) in DW's Files window while the new site is selected
4. Click "Yes" to the question "Download entire site?"
5. Once it's done downloading, you can double click items in your Files window to open and update them
6. Highlight the updated files in the Files window and click the Put button (up arrow) to load the updates to the server

and just give the path to the file and the file name.
For example if you place the file under "/usr/samples/AdobeDemoFolder/

Sorry, I do not understand this. If you donwload a doc (or any file), Adobe Reader is not involved; you just download and save it to the target device.
