How to down load the same app twice

How do I download the same app twice so I have both on my home screen. I want to monitor cameras at 2 different locations and need to have 2 apps to load seperate info into each. When I try to down load the app for the 2nd time the only option is to REPLACE the current app with the same one. Anyone have any ideas?

Yeah, too bad the app won't let you switch between locations. I don't think you can have 2 instances of the app running on the BB. I'm not developer, but I've never seen that before.

I have got iphone v.4.1, i bought bowling game (US$ 0.99), due to version problem i could not down load the same (not compatable), pls let me know how to proceed further.

Help with what? It's YOUR responsibility to READ the requirements for any app you want to purchase. They are clearly stated on the app's info page. So, either update your phone or beg iTunes support for a refund:

Likelyhood is, if they are convinced it was an accident they will refund. But its not something you can rely on.

It's a challenge when syncing a device for the first time to go through all the apps and apply them back to the same folders as on your other iphone.
I've seen suggestions of taking pictures of the correct layout, then manually applying it to the new device. Big time waister.
What's the work around?

I'm afraid there is no short workaround. One thing that you could do if you were REALLY desperate is reset your device to factory settings and then restore it from your other device's backup, but that is rather risky and you probably don't want to take your chances just for folder layouts. I would just do it manually.

She can't from iCloud without setting up your iCloud account on her phone. But just sync the same apps from your iTunes Library on your computer to her phone.
Your wife should setup her own iCloud account - which is separate to the iTunes Store accounts.

If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, then can you find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right) ?
If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find it after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. You could also do Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout which will re-arrange your apps and might make it easier to find

The app happens to be loseit.com which essentially is a calorie counter and I wanted the app twice...one for me and one for my wife. When you go to the app store it says already installed and wondered if there is a way to get around this to get it twice on my iphone. Thanks again.

As Tamra said, you can't have two of the same app on your iPhone. Perhaps LoseIt will allow you to use multiple accounts/users in the same app?

Loading the same project twice

I need to be able to load the same toplink project twice within the same jvm. It looks like the sessions.xml file would define a session named "mysession" and after having instanciated the server session twice the session manager would contain two different sessions : "mysession_1" and "mysession_2".
I intend to load the project by doing :
1. (Server) SessionManager.getManager().getSession(new XMLSessionConfigLoader(), sessionName, sessionClassLoader, false,true);
2. rename the session manager hashtable key from mysession to mysession_1
3. rename the session itself session.setName(...)
4. redo 1.
5. redo 2. and 3. for renaming from mysession to mysession_2
What do you suggest?

Or make two sessions in your session.xml file, one named mysession_1 and the other mysession_2.
This would avoid messing around with the sessions once they have been loaded by the session manager and all you need to execute is:
SessionManager.getManager().getSession(new XMLSessionConfigLoader(), "mysession_1", sessionClassLoader, false,true);
SessionManager.getManager().getSession(new XMLSessionConfigLoader(), "mysession_2", sessionClassLoader, false,true);

You can down load code from source system and u can upload those in your destination system. You can down load Code as normally like execute SE38 > enter ur program name> click on change button> Utilities(in menu bar)->more utilities>upload/down load>down load in source system & Just use same path with upload instead of down load. So this will help u to transfer code from one system to other.
Screens transfer: SE51> enter ur program name & screen no> click on change button> click on Layout button> Utilities(m)>upload/download>download for down loading a screen from source system.
And follow the same procedure in destination system also just use up load instead of download. to upload a screen in destination system.
