How to downgrade Premiere CC 2014 to CS6?
Hi There,
I've recently set up my 2013 iMac (3.1 Ghz Core i7 with 16Gb of RAM) with Premiere Pro CC 2014.
So far it's been awful. It's always slow, it lags and it crashes lots.
I've used Premiere CS6 on older Macbook Pros, Mac Pros and iMacs and it's always been fine.
Looking at the forum, other people are having the same issues with Premiere CC.
Is it possible to download CS6 from Creative Cloud??
Cheers,
Colin
Hi,
Yes you can download cs6 from the creative cloud.
Once you open the cc desktop app, you will see a tab for filters and version.
Once you select that choose the option of previous version and you will be able to download cs6.
As you have mentioned in the post that premiere pro cc 2014 crashes every now and then, is it happening only with one project or all the projects.
Thank You
Arjun

How to downgrade photoshop CC 2014 to photoshop CC
Hello,
We are using a third party plugin with photoshop that was working with the photoshop CC. Since CC 2014 discontinued the compatibility with flash extension, our plugin doesn't work anymore. We want to install photoshop CC and not CC 2014. How can we achieve that ? Using the CC interface automatically install CC2014 and looking at older version section on the website doesn't give me a version prior to CC2014 to download.
This link Can i downgrade photoshop from CC 2014 to earlier version (CC)? doesn't help as I am trying to install Pshop CC on a new computer.
Thanks for you help.

How to transfer an unfinished project from premiere pro 2014 to premiere pro cs6
Ok I a not too savvy with my new MAC or computers in general but i used to work with Power Director excellent product on my PC. So how do you transfer an unfinished project from Premiere Pro 2014 to Premiere Pro Cs6
Um ... by basically re-doing the project ... as there's SO much added to CC since the CS6 version, the tools have changed, the available effects have changed, the underlying code has changed ... there's just so much that CC can do that can't be done in the old CS6 version.
You can try exporting an XML and importing that into CS6 ... sometimes that works better than others, it hath been stated. This is sort of like trying to put a modern engine with all the computer controlled gizmos & pollution controls & fuel injection and designed to work with a 5-speed auto transmission into a 1965 Chevelle. With the older 3-speed manual tranny. How do you do it? Rebuild everything ... both the engine & the car. Lot of work.

I have the latest version of Adobe Premiere, CC 2014 but whenever I want to render and export a video that is typically 70 megabytes in size I can't seem to always see how big the file will end up being for all the formats and I don't want to end up with a video larger than 250 to 300 megabytes in size just for the extremely best or highest quality even though I want the video to be well polished and in better quality than I usually get thee, These videos are usually imported as mp4. What file version of mp4 or otherwise would give me an originally imported video of 70 megabytes an output of no more than or around 300 megabytes or even less without compromsing video quality? I don't want a huge file size as I am uploading it to my YouTube channel via their web interface on another person's machine and they don't have Premiere and only has a DSL connection. So what video output settings should I use for a good quality video that isn't smaller than the original but the same size or a bit higher and not extremely large like MOVs and sometimes mp4s usually are depending on what you do to it and it is outputted.?
Export
Format: H.264
Preset: YouTube (make sure this matches the dimensions of your sequence)
You could further adjust the Target Bitrate but the preset is already setup for a good quality file for upload.
You can also do further reading on Video Bitrates. -
Adobe Premiere CC 2014 after reinstall became russian. How to change it in english? Thank you.
Uninstall.
Go to Creative Cloud App and set in the Preferences, Language of the App to English.
Re-install.
I know there is a simpler way by changing a file extention in the root. But I dont know which file and what extention to change to.
I have seen this for Photoshop. -
Installing Encore CS6 with Premiere CC 2014 - Not in Previous Versions
I have a new computer and am ready to install Premiere/Encore/AME. From what I understand, in order to install Encore, it's recommended to use the Creative Cloud desktop app, and click the "Previous Versions" button to see the CS6 version of Premiere. From that point, you can choose to install just Encore. To be clear, I have not installed Premiere CC 2014 or AME yet. So when I click the "previous versions" button, the only two programs that appear are Edge Animate CC and Gaming SDK. No Premiere option. If I'm looking under "all apps", I can see Premiere Pro CC 2014, but not an option for CS6. Is there another place I can download Encore CS6?
Same problem. When I select "Previous Version", the only apps with previous versions available are Bridge, Edge Animate and Gaming SDK. No CS6 versions show up at all.
I tried the process described above to log out, quit cc, rename the opm.db file, then log back in. But I am unable to log back into CC. (Or rather I am immediately logged back out again.)
Maybe this is because I am using an enterprise version of CC??? Mac OS X 10.10.2 -

How well does a new Mac Pro work with Adobe Premiere CC 2014
I'm trying to spec out a new Mac Pro so I can edit 4K footage from a RED camera. I currently edit using Premiere CC 2014. I've heard all kinds of bad stories with the new Mac and Premiere and was wondering if anyone has had a good experience. These are the specs I'm looking at for the mac. Thanks in advance.
Those AMD Dxxx and drivers as well as it may take a product cycle for Adobe if they are interested in the 6,1 customer base.
Dual AMD PCIe 7xxx and above even in dual setups, or of course you can throw one or two nVidia GTX 7xx into those silver "oMP" 2009-2012s (the 2008 just lacks good decent PCIe GPU performance with good graphic cards).
Also the way the nMP will 'share' and throttle to limit itself to 450W and its thermal design so that both GPUs and the processor are not both given full reign (they do when running Windows 8.1 natively - 8.1 because that is the "oldest" version supported with drivers and booting via Apple). -
How import AVI h.264 no Premiere CC 2014
Can anyone help me??
Did a render of an animation I produced in Blender AVI h.267 need to do some editing and I can not import into Premiere CC 2014. Not want to lose the quality of the animation I didChico Crevin
Do you have any version of Premiere Elements at the present time? What computer operating system is being used for your video projects?
Premiere Elements does not support AVCHD (MPEG4 AVC/H.264).avi. It can support files with AVCHD compression, and it can support files with the file extension (wrapper format) .avi. But, it does not support the combo of AVCHD.avi (AVCHD video compression wrapped/contained by the .avi format.
Do you really mean H.264.avi and not H.267.avi? You could download and install the free 30 days tryout of Premiere Elements 12 and determine if it will work for you with your particular file. If you wanted to send a sample H.264.avi via a Dropbox link in a post, I would be glad to test it on my Premiere Elements software.
But, I am almost sure that the answer is going to be the same as you found for Premiere CC 2014 - no import for your H.264.avi.

Premiere CC 2014.1 + SAN: Can't import folders
We used to edit off an of-the-shelf NAS and just recently upgraded to a Facilis TerraBlock SAN.
Now whenever we try to import folders, Premiere won't import anything. The import dialogue shows up briefly, but the progress bar just skips to the end and no files show up in Premiere. Individual or multiple files will import fine if chosen directly, but as soon as anything is nested in a folder or subfolder, it just won't come in. We tried the import dialogue, media browser, Adobe Bridge and drag&drop from Finder. Importing folders from the NAS or local storage still works fine.
We're editing on multiple maxed-out 2013-iMacs (10.9.5) using CC 2014.1. The issue is persistent on all machines and through all versions of Premiere from CS6 to CC 2014.1.
Our current workaround is to import the folders into AfterEffects (which strangely works fine with the SAN) and then copy/paste them into Premiere.
Any ideas how to fix this issue?I am having the same issue as IronAtin. Folders will not import from our Facilis Terrablock into Premiere CC 2014. This used to work just fine in Premiere CC. Please keep us updated as to any fixes/workarounds. Thanks.

No AAC audio in Premiere CC 2014.1? [bug - resolved]
--- Original post for reference
I just updated to Premiere CC 2014.1 today.
I have a set of files that I regularly convert with Handbrake into MP4s with an AAC audio stream. I have had no problems at all with CS6, CC, and CC 2014. But now with CC 2014.1, I get no audio when I import the mp4 files.
The Project window says it is a "Video" file, not a "Movie" file. The associated icon in the Project window is also missing the waveform on it.
When I drag it onto the timeline, only the video track appears, as you'd expect. The video alone appears to play back correctly.
Restarting PP CC 2014.1 did not do anything.
I loaded up PP CS6 and imported the exact same MP4 file and it works as expected. Windows Media Player has no problem playing the video file with audio either.
What changed between CC 2014 and CC 2014.1 that could have caused this?

Reason: there is no Premiere Pro CC 2014.2, you probably mean 2014.1. If not, please PM me.Hi wired.au,
Thanks for this solution.

OK ... after I finished my post below about how PP CC 2014.1 would not recognize the mono AAC audio track from my MP4s, I decided to produce the same MP4 again with Handbrake, with a stereo audio track instead.
It worked. After loading the stereo MP4, I reimported the original mono MP4 that didn't work (without restarting premiere or anything) and the mono audio is now recognized. Looks like there was a strange bug with Premiere Pro CC 2014.1 and mono AAC audio tracks, which got resolved after importing an MP4 with a stereo AAC track for the first time.
I thought I should leave this here just in case anyone else encounters the same thing.
Thanks,

Is encore included in premiere cc 2014?
Is encore included in premiere cc 2014? If not, is there a new way to download premiere cs6 that came with encore through the creative cloud download manager?

Why so hidden and hard to get for your customers, I've been busy for ONE HOUR to finally found this not outdated way to get a product we pay for but do not get until you've past though the forest of potential options to download it with another product that not every one needs (ppro cs6) and have to remove again but have to be sure you do not remove the program you were looking for with it. Really Adobe??
I think it's ridiculous that we have to install PP CS6 just to get Encore. I have been saying that since everything went the way of the cloud. I have no issues with the CC model and if for whatever reason Adobe doesn't want to further develop Encore...so be it. But how many times have people asked where Encore is and how do they install it? It would be nice if Adobe would just make Encore a stand alone app in the cloud.
I recently wiped my drive clean and reinstalled Win 7 Pro. I installed of the CC 2014 apps that I use such as PP, but to get Encore we have to install PP CS6. Even if you want to uninstall PP CS6 you still have Media Encoder CS6, Bridge CS6 left behind...just stupid.
Adobe, please make life easy and just make Encore CS6 a stand alone install. -
how to make the compatible files in cc 2014 and cs6/5.5
