I purchased acrobat X pro a year or so ago (with 2 licenses) and i want to move it from one computer to a new one?

What OS are you using on your new system?
You might need to deactivate Acrobat from your old machine and then activate it on the new one with the same serial number.
Remember, if you own volume license of an Adobe product that is installed on a system at work (say), then you can install it on secondary computer at home (say) of the same platform.

- your serial number, unless it is a subscription
- the installer, or CD or DVD
- if an upgrade, the old serial number
You might get a message about too many activations. In this case you need to contact Adobe. It is routine, but allow lots of time.

Are you talking about FCP X? You just need to open the App Store application in the mac, login with the same Apple ID you used to buy the software, and click on "purchases".
If you mean legacy Final Cut, then you probably need to have the original disks, but you should ask in the Final Cut Studio forum.

There's no difference between the installer on the disk and that available online.
You can download Acrobat 10 Pro from : http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html
and use the purchased serial number to activate the software.

Please Follow the Steps mentioned below and let us know if it works for you.
Step 1
Install Acrobat on your new computer. For example, use the software installation disc or download an installation file from the My Adobe website.
Step 2
Run Acrobat on your new computer, enter your serial number when prompted by Adobe, and then click the "Activate" button. Acrobat will attempt to communicate your licensing information with its servers.
Step 3
Click "Help" in the top file menu of Acrobat and then click "Activate." If only "Deactivate…" is available, then your software has been activated successfully.

I have acrobat XI standard. When I tried to download acrobat X pro, I got the following error message during installation: Setup has detected that you already have a more functional product installed. Setup will now terminate. How do I get x pro to run? I need to be able to redact documents.

You are getting this message since Acrobat Standard is of higher version. If you want to install Acrobat X Pro on your machine then you have to uninstall Acrobat Standar XI first, and then only you will be able to install Acrobat X Pro.

I just downloaded Acrobat XI Pro Trial Version and the first time I try to open something it says my trial period has expired but I JUST ENROLLED. I am needing to upgrade from 9 Pro - hated 10 Pro and would love to try 11 pro before I make a mass purchase for my company.

Since you are at a company, I suggest you try the trial on another computer. Be careful if you have another version installed as XI may uninstall that one or mess it up.

Downloading Acrobat XI Pro to Program Files fails

Trying to download Acrobat XI Pro.
Download won't put it in Program Files (x6). Says I am not administrator - but I am. (Confirmed in Controal Panel and created a new folder to test.)
How can I get it to put the program there?
And if I can't, will it run properly from my Documents folder?

Please Try using a new admin account and see if that helps.
Try to see the permissions on the folder.
Also, we recommend to install it under Program Files(X86) but you can install it under other directory.
