How to download Adobe Reader? There used to be links on the Adobe webpage.
Does another company handle adobe downloads now? It used to be really easy to download Adobe Reader. Now there's no mention of it on the web page.

Do you do the distribution of the Reader software? You may need to use the offline installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/. You may also need to sign a distribution agreement with Adobe (details on the same page).

After clicking Safari prompt box to "Download Flash..." , I'm linked to the Adobe Flash Player Download page. I click the "Download Now". The page advance to next page in the download process but then immediately goes black and nothing happens. System preferences firewall is off and apps are allowed from anywhere and in Safari other plug ins are allowed and cookies are not blocked and pop up windows are not blocked. Don't DL Flash from web sites. If you have Adobe Flash installed it should be in System Preferences and you can find the latest version and download from there.
If you are installing for the first time,this is where to DL it.

I removed Adobe Reader X from my macbook but still see AdobePDFViewer.pl ugin and AdobePDFViewerNP Apl.plugin are these still part of the Adobe ReaderX that I removed? If so what do I do to remove them. Also when I go to a web site that the PDF file that I want to download with not download for me to see in preview.I forgot to mention that I use the mavericks OX 9

I would like to script Adobe Reader updates using vbScript, PowerShell or C#, are there any Adobe API calls I use to do this. There are several different version that I support and auto update is not an option. I do updates at a specific time of the month. I would like to write a script that would download and install the update for the currently installed version of Adobe Reader (32 or 64 bit) for the version of the OS (32 or 64bit). I can detect the OS version and the Adobe version. I can download updates but I do not want to hard code anything
Sabian is correct.
Most admins download the updates from the ftp site and push via AIP, GPO, SCCM, or some other method whenever it makes sense for them.

Adobe Reader supports various industry standard tools for enterprise deployment. Note that a redistribition license might be needed if you are installing on behalf of others.

Can't find it in the customization tool and don't want to change this on 650 workstations.
If I could change a registry key or change it in the installation it would help alot.

My first reply was empty because i responded to the email I received saying this thread (is that the right terminology?) was updated. Obviously that email didn't get added, just a blank line....
Then I replied to this thread directly on Friday and that seems to have disappeared. Maybe I just don't know how to use a computer? Better sell the technology company I own LOL.
Ok so it seems the screen is normal, (not maximized). When I unlock and drop my start bar to one row, then the top of the screen pops down to inside my visible monitor space and it is not maximized. This allows me to drag it to another monitor and then maximize it there, then put my start bar back and relock it. This is the only way I can move the window, if I don't shrink my start bar, then I have zero access to the top bars of the document!
Currently I can not reproduce the problem ( I might have temporarily fixed it with my start bar reducing and then moving documents), so maybe it is permanently fixed....
Maybe a reboot will bring the problem back... It has been intermittent for about 6 months. -
When I try to open a download PDF I get message to install Adobe Reader. I do it and get the same message already installed. I close Safari and reopen but get same message to install Adobe

Resolution problems with Adobe Reader XI using high resolution screens?

I am using the new Samsung Ativ Book 9 plus with a high resolution screen of 3200x1800 pixels. Unfortunately Adobe Reader XI shows menu bars in minimal sizes and I can't find any way to change this.
Does anybody know if there is a solution for this problem? I don't wanna change the screen resolution just for using that software.Hello nordlicht.22
1024x768 screen resolution is supported resolution for Adobe Reader XI.

when installing adobe reader on my mac it states that the install is complete, but on same screen its sets thaw an internal server error has occurred and reader will not work

I have exactly the same problem on one of my Macs (MBP 15 Mid-2010 / OS X Yosemite): Both reader and Acrobat Pro download without a hitch. Both also install with no problem.
But once you click the program to open, they both return "an internal error occurred".
I tried downloading three separate copies, and still get the same error message when I install and launch. I've also uninstalled the previous installations via CleanMyMac2 to make sure it's no longer in the SSD. Same results.
Am using a new SSD as internal boot drive, with fresh / clean installation of OS X and Apps (previous internal HDD crashed) -- And am seeing errors not only with Acrobat, but also with LR5 which always comes up with a "An error occurred when attempting to change modules" -- inspite or uninstall, download and reinstall. Not sure if it's a registry issue? (Not even sure if that's the case with OS X).
Do I need to reformat the whole SSD? I hope not!

Thanks for your response to my question, I see your point and will do that, however, I have another folder that was created before I had a Mac, which has all sorts of lovely titles and labels and some of those pictures I brought over to my ibook when I first started. So there are some duplicates in my iphoto library that I already have backed up in that other folder. I guess I shouldn't really obsess about those. I guess I am just nervous about deleting all my prior iphoto library, but I should have faith that it will all be there in my pictures library. Just trying to clean up the virtual mess.
I'll hold my breath and take the plunge.

Adobie Reader problem using OS Vista and IE9
Operating System = Windows Vista
Browser = IE9
Adobe Reader long use without problems.
Previously click on link within web page and view text.
Now only white space and no text.
Deleted and reinstalled Adobe Reader with version 10.1.3.
Problem remains.
Works appropriately on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
Would appreciate any suggestions.Does that happen with every online PDF, e.g. http://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/attachments/Acrobat_Reader_ReleaseNote_10.1.3.pdf ?

Sounds more like you have a problem with your apple id. For starters go to that page click manage my apple id and singn in. If you can't sign in reset password.
