I have Photoshop CS3 Extnded on my PC (Student & Teacher) which has died. I want to download it to my new MAC. I have the product key from the original purchase and installation. However when I try to download it from the site I get an error page. Any ideas?

tobiashomer, Then best option is try with different browser, if not possible Right click on the download link and choose open in new tab option. Check if that works.
To clear the cache
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now from the menu bar click Develop > Empty Caches

Hi people,
I have a number of URLs at hand that point to certain class files, e.g.
http://www.mywebsite.com/classes/MyClass.class
What i would like to do is to download MyClass.class into a temporary folder on the local disk. Does anyone know how to do this? I've read about HttpURLConnection etc., but its all very confusing!

you need to create a URL to the url
URL url = new URL("http://www.mywebsite.com/classes/MyClass.class");
HttpURLConnection c = (HttpURLConnection)url.openConnection();
then you need to acquire an input stream from the connection. Roughly this is
InputStreamReader r = (InputStreamReader)c.getInputStream();

close all streams
something like this - will let you work out the rest..dont forget to try/catch all the IO exceptions.

The trial is always extended. The serial number you enter determines whether it runs as standard or extended.
I'm getting through fine with that link, so it must be a browser issue or some such thing. Try another browser.

Thank's for your efforts, and I just wish that this was the solution. Unfortunately, it isn't because, after double-clicking on the pdf in the website, it simply "opens" in another Safari window as a black screen - the pdf is there, somewhere, but not visible (either as an icon, or as a document).
When I right-click in the black Safari window, where the file is supposed to be, the only option available to display the file is to "Open file in Internet Explorer" (which is not what I want to do). Other options include saving or printing the pdf, which I don't want until I've confirmed that it's the form that I want. The same options are offered if I right-click on the file icon in the website.
Any other suggestions, please?

As long as you have a legitimate serial number, you can just download a trial version of the version you need from the public Adobe site, install it and input your valid serial number upon installing it.
You will need to apply all available updates, as all downloads are of the original release.
The Extended and the Standard version of Photoshop are one and the same binary. It's your serial number that makes it Extended or Standard.

For file down load u have to use a UI element as "File download".
u just create context attribute as setdownload_res and file data.
setdownload_res as of type "com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielementdefinitions.Resource" then bound it to the ui element "resource".

How do I save pages from my website, [link removed] into a PDF file, with proof of the date the pdf file was created on? I need to display the content of each unique url of my site in PDF format for compliance purposes, and prove the image was taken from a given date. Anyone can help that would be great.

Impossible to do with Reader. If you own Acrobat and use Create PDF from Webpage. The document will have a creation date. If you then sign the pdf on the date of creation, you have proof of when the document was created and proof that the document wasn’t altered since signed.

Long press on the text you would like to select (tapping and holding) and then release after the magnifying glass shows up. This will select a single word. Then use the blue dots and drag them to select a region of test. Then press "copy". Open pages, and long press and release where you would like to paste. Then select "paste". That should paste the text.
If the text doesn't select within the browser, it might be an uncopyable format. Like if the text was within an image, naturally you would be unable to select it. The only thing to do there is long press the image and selecting "save image", adding it to your camera roll. Then you could insert the image within pages.
