How to download CS5 manual..crashes

Every time i try to download the manual it crashes and I get error message

I get that too. KInda hard to look stuff up when the reader crashes. Do we get just a crashing Help Reader and no manual now? Isn't there even pdf manual anymore?

    In the past when I'd logon to Adobe and view my account, in the list of whatever it was I had purchased, there would be a means to download, but not now.
    I want to download and reinstall CS5, it's listed, it shows up as something I've purchased, my serial number is there, yet there's no way to download it.
    It's lame that Adobe can't provide a simple download link, it's lame that they've forced me to waste my time asking how to download something.

    Yes. I don't know what to do once I have downloaded the winzip file. There are 2 files and it wont let me download the 2nd file, only the first. but I cant/don't know how to install it from all those files inside the winzip file, lol

    Tap and hold on the link to the manual in your browser.  If it is something like a PDF, you should be presented with a list of options to open it in another program.  You can then use a free app like Adobe Reader to store the document for later reading.

    I finally found a way how to get into the manuals section from a mobile browser. The only way I found is to hack the browser and change the user agent string, so the server will think I am using ordinary desktop browser... Regarding this I would like to to say that it is more valuable to say that something is not possible rather than saying nothing. This would save me a lot of time and frustration when trying to figure out how to do that. I think there is planty of space left for improvement on your mobile web pages....

    I have got Lightroom 4 on Windows 8.1 and have purchased and installed an upgrade to LIghtroom 5.
    Now, after a computer crash and restore, I have installed previous versions from CD up to LIghtroom 4. I need now to upgrade to Lightroom 5 and cannot find where / how to download the upgrade.
    NOTE that I do not want to change to Lightroom Creative Cloud but need to download the Lightroom 5 upgrade in order to be able to activate it with the purchased key.

    IMHO Windows would be the place to start.
    Why do you want to load CS5 for Windows?
    Adobe does produce a version of CS5 that runs on OS X so that it would not be necessary for you to have to screw around with Windows. Personally that would be the way to go and avoid the hassles of Windows.

    I just bought an iMac and wanted to transfer my CS5 to it. The new iMacs do not have disk drives. So, I'm trying to do it over the enternet. I called Adobe, and they sent me a link to download and told me to follow the instructions. I did. Nothing happened. I called again, they sent me the same link, told me to download a different file. I did. Nothing happened... well after 5 hours of downloading, it wouldn't install because it's from an "unidentified developer." Great. I called again. They said they couldn't help because they no longer support CS5. Even better. I was directed to the forum to fix my problem. So, could anyone please help me figure out how to download the product already own? I've been trying to get this to work for 3 day, and all I'm getting is the run around.
