Plc. Help me. I have crashed my hardcdisk n hv deleted the facebook app from my 8th 2gen iPod touch..... Now the iTunes store shows that fb for this model can't b downloaded .......... Pls pls pls help me out.

The only way is if you still had a copy of it somewhere. By hard drive I assume that you mean your computer, and that you haven't backed up your content onto an external drive or flash drive (?). If not then you will need to find an alternative way to access Facebook as only the current version of each app is in the store so you won't be able to re-download an older version of it.
Are there any other Facebook apps in the store that will work on your iPod ?

When I search for the Pandora app in the App Store it comes up and shows that it is free, but it does not allow me to click on the button to download it. The Free button is not highlighted.
