I downloaded ios 7.0 update from itunes but i disconnected the device and clicked "download only" using iTunes. After download was finished how could i update to my device? My device show my os is up to date. But It had shown by itunes to update for my device when I sync with itunes. How could I find downloaded iOS 7.0 update file in my Mac?

Make sure that your iTunes is 11.1.

Mail: how to download ONLY last emails and not the whole hotmail.

Hi!
Quick question: like what Mail does in iPhones/iPads, how can I configure Mail in my iMac or Macbook Pro so that it only downloads the last, say 50 emails and not the 4000 aprox. emails I have inside the hotmail (now outlook) server?
I have been wanting to use mail for a long time but I can't seem to find that option. I only want to see the LAST EMAILS like what happens in the app on my iPhone.

unless there is a special setting in yahoo webmail interface that allows this (gmail pop has it for example), there is no way to do it. POP will download all available messages on the first download. that's how POP works. from there on it will only download new ones.

How to download only some fields(dynamically) from alv grid layouts

I have layouts for selecting sets of fields dynamically.
If I select a particular layout, I want to download only those fields into an Excel sheet.
If I select another layout, I want to download only fields of that layout , into an Excel sheet.

If I understand correctly, you want to control the table visibility through clicking the chart. In this case, please refer to the detailed steps below:
1. Create the parameter named Control, check the Boolean option in the drop-down list of the Data Type, and select Hidden in the parameter visibility tab.
2. Specify the default value of the parameter to True.
3. Click the series in the chart and select “Action” in the Properties pane and click the ellipsis as follows:
4. Select the “Go to report” tab, and select the self-report in the “Specify a report” tab.
5. Pass the parameter as bellows:
Name:Control Vaule:false
6. Right click the table control, select Tablix Properties and select the Visiblity property.
7. Select the tab of Show or hide based on an expression, and add the expression below:
=iif(Parameters!Control.Value=true,true,false)

I added my hotmail account to the Mail App in my laptop and it downloads ALL of my emails every time I I click on Get Mail. Is there a way to progame it to do the same as in an iPhone or iPod Touch where you can configure it to show only the most recent emails?

How to download only specific photos from my camera?

I'm in the habit of not deleting the photo images from my camera's CF card frequently. The problem with using iPhoto is that that it appears to only allow me to download ALL or NOTHING of the photos on my camera. I would like to selectively download specific photos from my camera with iPhoto. Is this possible?

Hello.
There is also a way to selectively upload directly to iPhoto. If your camera mounts on the desktop as an external drive, simply ignore iPhoto's initial uploading screen. [Click back on Library in the Source Pane if this screen distracts you.] Choose File> Import to Library. A window will open where you can navigate to your camera, preview the images, and select only the ones you wish to upload. As in the Finder, Shift-click will select a contiguous range, and Command-click selects multiple, nonconsecutive items.
If your camera does not mount on the desktop (most Canons do not) then you can use a card reader. Place the card in the reader, connect to the Mac via USB, and use the above method to upload from the card. This is my preferred method, since it saves on the camera's batteries.

I´m an registerd (free) developer, and my friend is the specialist (but not reachable at the moment, he´ll laugh at me for posting in the wrong forum:)))).
Can I lock in the developers forum as normal and ask my question there, without beeing "tortured" and afterwards "burnd" by the real professinal developers? I´m only very intrested and curius about learning all these things.

How to disable button immediately after click?

I'm using JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.0
On my screen is an 'Add' button that calls specific method written in bean (addAction). Following are actions in addAction():
1. Disable Add button
2. Execute 'CreateInsert'
3. adfContext.addPartialTarget(corresponding adf table)
This works fine when user clicks on 'Add' and waits for couple of seconds, till the 'Add' button gets disabled
However, if the user keeps on clicking 'Add' button, it sends multiple requests to server and adds those many records in 'adf table'.
Is there any way to stop user input till the response is received for the previous request?
I tried setting up 'blocking' property of the button. But it did not work.
I also tried using 'unsecure' property of the button for disabled property and call setProperty('disabled',true) in javascript. In this case server request is not sent.

Tunes froze when I upgraded to 10.2.1.1 after recently acquiring a 3rd generation Nano to replace my 1st generation that wouldn't reset. It's all working now after uninstalling 10.2.1.1 and then installing 10.1.2. I had to delete "iTunes Library.itl" for iTunes to load. I then had add my folder to get back all my Poscasts and then re-subscribe to my relevant podcasts. After this I upgraded back to 10.2.1.1 and everything is sweet . So effectively I rebuilt my "iTunes Library.itl" file - I suspect that this file became corrupted either during the iTunes upgrade and/or introducing mt new iPod Nano and/or something else.

Since you don't saying what version of Siebel you are on, I assume
8.0 or later.
You can use this on if you applet class is CSSFrame, CSSFrameList, or any of their subclasses.

Make sure the field DisableButton is active (Use Force Active on BC if the field isn't active)
Make sure the field has "Immediate Post Changes" set to true on the BC.

Hook your iPad into your computer and open iTunes. GIve it a couple of minutes to get going, then click on the name of your device, then the main summary page. In the middle you'll see a software update button/area. Click on check on updates and update and follow the prompts.
it SHOULDN"T redownload but if you've already got it should just install.
I'd suggest that you first do a complete sync before you update, that way you have a good backup to restore your device from if the upgrade doesn't go perfect.
