How to download Keynote for Snow Leopard?

Hi,
I purchased Keynote in July and now wanted to start using it on my iMac. When I wanted to download, I had to realise that there is only a version for Mountain Lion available in the App Store.
Where can I download the version for an older OS?
Thanks for any help,
M. Shinoto

your only option  to buy an older version is from places like Ebay

Where can I download xcode for snow leopard?

I am a paid member of the developer program, and Xcode 4.2 for Snow Leopard does not appear in the downloads area. I just joined today and received email confirmation, but perhaps this update to my account has not worked its way through to Apple's back-end yet. Nevertheless, it appears that Xcode 4.2 for Snow Leopard is not available any more to anyone, whether they are paid members or not.

  • Keynote for Snow Leopard?

Anyone know what versions of Keynote are compatible with Snow Leopard (10.6.8), and where I can buy one, preferably as a download (not waiting for a package in the mail)?
Apple tells me that an old version of Keynote (2.0.2) I mysteriously had on my laptop is "too old," but the App Store version they sell is "too new" to run on Snow Leopard!
No, I don't want to upgrade the OS on a stable system.
    Thanks.

You will have to buy the retail box iWork '09 from a third-party reseller such as Amazon.com or eBay.
Personally, I find Mountain Lion very stable. Even Lion is stable, it just has too many "quirks" that have been fixed, for the most part, in Mountain Lion.

  • Pages & Keynote for Snow Leopard

    Hi,
I recently completely cleaned my Mac which runs Snow Leopard, and cannot find a way to install Pages and Keynote, which I previously bought on the App Store.
Right now, the App Store tells me I need to install buy Mountain Lion, which I do not want.
How can I get Pages and Keynote without being forced to pay for something else ?
    Thanks,

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Versions available in the App Store are only supported in 10.7.4 and later, so you can't install them in Snow Leopard. You can upgrade to Snow Leopard or you can buy iWork on a disc in eBay or Amazon.
If you have a backup, you can use it to restore these apps. You can use Migration Assistant to restore your applications from the Time Machine backup

  • Does anyone know where to find and download xcode for Snow Leopard?

I need to access Xcode but it's not in App Store anymore. Any tips will be great.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
You can register as a free Apple developer in http://developer.apple.com, access to the Mac Dev Center and download Xcode 3 from there with Snow Leopard compatibility. This is the only way of getting Xcode 3, apart from the Snow Leopard disc or the DVDs that came with your Mac

  • Pages for Snow Leopard v10.6.8

Where can I download Pages for Snow Leopard v10.6.8?  I was about to download it from the App Store but then realised that Pages '09 v4.2 requires OS X v10.7.4 or later.
    Thanks.

Nowhere. You need to either purchase the DVD version or upgrade the computer's OS if possible.

Try Amazon but look for the iWork suite of software. It's only sold separately as Pages, Keynote, and Numbers from the App Store.

  • I've paid $ 3,99 for Xcode for Snow Leopard. Now there is a new Xcode for Lion, so I downloaded the new one but the installed continued to be the old one. Now App Store says "Installed" and don't allow me to re-download Xcode. How can I proceed?

I've paid $ 3,99 for Xcode for Snow Leopard 12 days ago. After installing Lion I saw there is a new FREE Xcode for it, so I downloaded the new one but after installing automatically Xcode for Lion the Developer folder contained the old one. I deleted the old Xcode but the App Store says "Installed" and don't allow me re-download Xcode.
How can I proceed? I'm guessing whether this problem will occur each time I buy an application from App Store.

Yes, that's righ, Xcode installer was in the Apps folder. I assumed it had been automatically installed and the installer deleted after installation (the same way as Lion is installed).
I tried also the procedure for redownloding applications, and MAS showed both Xcodes (Lion and Snow Leopard) and OS X Lion. We see that buttons for Lion and Xcode for Snow Leopard say 'Install' but Xcode for Lion says 'installed' because there is an Install Scode in the Apps folder.
    Thank you.

I don't want to buy it again...if I don't have to...just trying to get to Mavericks....and I am one OS short...

    Hi John,
If you have another Mac with Firewire & a working Optical drive, you can use that to Install it.
Check whether you need a 6 pin to 9 pin FW cable or whatever each end has.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1661
Put the Install DVD in the the other Mac, shut both down, connect with a Firewire cable, boot the other Mac holding the t key down, once the floating FW symbol shows up, boot the this Mac holding the Option/alt key down, eventually the Install Disk will show as a Boot Option on this one.

Apart from purchasing, not much. I would ensure you've looked everywhere.

I have updated from Snow Leopard to Lion with Safari Version 5.0.5. Now I can not update to Safari 5.1. There is no update in the Software Updater, and on the apple-download page, I only found a Safari 5.1 for Snow Leopard. When executing it, there is an error message, that it is for 10.6 only.
It seems that I should have first updated Safari, and then only to Lion, which I didn't. Any idea how I can fix this now without having to rollback to Snow Leopard, update Safari and then go back to Lion?

Try this Safari5.1 from the installer package
    http://www.filefactory.com/file/cc9005d/n/Safari.pkg.zip
The download worked better with Firefox not sure why. At the bottom of the page after the captcha>> slow down load is the Free link,  it took about 4 minutes to download on my test.

  • Aperture 3.3 for Lion, but... how to install 3.2.4 for Snow Leopard?

New version Aperture (3.3) is not available on Snow Leopard (only Lion). Ok... but how to buy/reinstall Aperture 3.2.4 on my Mac of Snow Leopard?

You still  might be able to buy a boxed version of Aperture 3 at a local Apple store, but that will be much more expensive than the download from the App Store.
Since you cannot upgrade your machine to Lion, I'd stick with iPhoto, until you will invest into a new computer.  iPhoto libraries now can be opened by Aperture, so any work you invest into an iPhoto library will not be lost, once you transit.
No, I dont' want iPhoto. I need Aperture 3. It was available in the Mac App Store for Snow Leopard for a good price. At this moment I feel just cheated. Many people have a problem now - they have bought and can not update / reinstall. I can not buy. It should not be so. I'm sorry for my english.
