is it possible to download my music library onto my new MacBook Pro just by logging into my iTunes account?

No, you can only download music one time from the iTunes Store. You'll have to transfer files from one comp to the other. Here's how:

If you're determined to give it a go then go to the Support, Downloads page, find the Nano Plus in the list, select your OS and then you'll be shown a list of firmware, drivers and applications for your player.
Click on the Show Details link next to the firmware and follow the instructions there.
As your firmware is such an early version you probably have a 0-40 volume scale. Be warned that this will change to 0-25 with the bottom 5 levels gone. Volume is then too loud in a quiet environment - search for posts from users complaining about this issue alone. And you won't be able to change back afterwards!

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

How to download to PC Music Library from MP3 CD in Media Sou

Please advise how to download MP3 tracks from an external source such as a disc. I have been ripping CDs but I just recently tried downloading from an MP3 CD. I followed all the instructions indicated from "Importing" files etc. But in PC Music Library, the tracks or files are still in the location of the Disk Dri've and not in my hard disk. So naturally I can't play them or burn them into another CD. Once I eject the source disk, the tracks are not playable.
Am I missing a step? Thanks for any advice.

Copy the files from the disc to your PC then import them into the library from there.
As you have found, the library is just a database of the locations of the songs, not copies of the songs themselves. If you put them into the library from a removable dri've such as a CD-ROM or a pen dri've then they won't be found when that dri've isn't attached.

How to download the complete library presets in Encore cs6?

I downloaded the suggested EncoreContent_en-US.zip that contained 2.87 GB and extracted the file to my current cs6 encore folder. Unfortunately, even though Adobe claimed that it contained the whole preset library, it is not true, the background, buttons, image etc... are still missing.
Can someone help me with this issue?

For file down load u have to use a UI element as "File download".
u just create context attribute as setdownload_res and file data.
setdownload_res as of type "com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielementdefinitions.Resource" then bound it to the ui element "resource".
file data as of type "com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.api.IWDInputStream"
and set calcuclated as true and read only as true.
then in doinit method u just write this code

How to download past purchases on new hard drive on Mac

My daughter's hard drive died last year (locked within Filevault from ages past) on her Desktop Mac. As a consequence, she has lost several years worth of purchased music from the iTunes store. Is there anyway to re-download her lost music without having to repurchase them all over again?

This seems to take me in a loop between how to authorize/deauthorize my computer and how to download purchases to other devices- not the original PC. She is older and more responsible now, but no back-ups were used at the time. I know (sigh). We seem to be able to get a listing of past ourchases from iTunes store for only the very recent time.

It sounds like you are unable to play a couple of songs from your library becuase you get a message that the computer is unauthorized to play, but other content purchased that same day works without issue. I would verify that the affected songs were purchased with the same Apple ID first:

Open iTunes
Highlight one of the items you have purchased (You can find your purchases in your Purchases playlist).
Choose File > Get Info.
Click the Summary tab.
The Account Name area will list the account used to purchase the item. Unless you have changed accounts, this is your iTunes Store account name.
If so, then delete the songs:

Can't download library books to my ADE, v. 3.0 from Mac OS X, with Yosemite download

i have a Mac OS X 10 w. Yosemite download. am having trouble downloading library books to ADE, v. 3.0, which i would then like to transfer to my Simple touch Nook. I noticed that the authorization is for a DRM but the books are ACSM. should i change the computer authorization and if so, how do i do this?

I did find a book that i had checked out from the library in the documents file. however, the book wants to open in iBooks. i want the book to go to my Simple Touch Nook and i thought that i could only do that through ADE, v. 3, which i have downloaded (several times). however i can’t get the library books to download or go to ADE anymore. I reauthorized the computer, using an Overdrive authorization, but i still can’t get books to download to ADE. i believe that before all this trouble, i had an ADE authorization. I was wondering if i should de-authorize the computer (but don’t know how to do that) and re-insert an ADE authorization. (but of course i don’t really know how to do that either). i have spent so much time one this matter that i can’t remember what i’ve done. Yes, once the content is in iTunes on your computer, just click it to play and authorise your computer to play it by entering your Dad's ID and password.
Log into your own account and start purchasing your own content which will then be added to the existing content.
