How to download movies from iTunes.

Hi I'm a new user of iTunes and would like to know how to download movies. from the iTunes store.

Create an iTunes account and go shopping. It is best to use the 'Shopping Cart' feature that way you can delete items from the cart before buying in case you change your mind.
Once you are done shopping then 'buy' the cart and once the purchase process is completed then the d/l will begin.
You can go to this page and select the 'New User' link for more info http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/

  • How to download Movies from iTunes to iPad

I purchased a movie from iTunes on my iPad. I confirmed purchase and it looked like it was going to download. Nothing shows up in my download tab in iTunes and nothing is in my movies. I tried connecting to my computer but nothing happens then either. I tried to purchase again but the same thing happened. Anyone have any suggestions to what is going on or how to get my movies?

I ended up ordering from my laptop
Did you try as I suggested above?
You should not have re-ordered it.

  • How to download movies from Itunes to view later (IPAD)?

Apologies if this is a silly question but ive never done this before and would like to get a movie or two for a flight tomorrow.
Also, once donwloaded, do I have a limited time to view them?
    Thanks!

You can buy and download films and/or tv shows (if those categories are available in your country) directly on the iPad via the iTunes store app - they will download into the iPad's Videos app, and you can then copy them to your computer's iTunes for backup purposes by connecting the iPad to it and doing File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11).
Or you can buy and download them on your computer's iTunes and then sync them to the iPad : connect the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes (if you are on iTunes 11 and you don't have the sidebar showing on the left-hand side then do View > Show Sidebar), and on the right-hand side of iTunes select the Movies tab and select and sync the films to the iPad's Videos app.
    Syncing with iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1386
If they are film purchases then you don't have a time limit - as you as you continue to have a copy of it then you can watch it again and again. If they are rentals then you have 30 days watch them, but once you start watching them you have 24 hours if you are in the US, 48 hours elsewhere, to finich watching them before they expire (you can watch them as many times as you like during those 24/48 hours)

  • HT4241 How do I get an Epson EX5210 to display using the HDMI mini display port adapter so I can see 1080p downloaded movie from iTunes? It won't recognize the display via hdmi cable and adapter!

Please help! I've tried everything to get this dang thing to display a downloaded movie from itunes on my epson EX5210 lcd projector via a HDMI cable plugged into a minidisplay port adapter. I am no expert and have no idea what to do!

It's all in the manual... starting on page 26...
USB seems to work as well. Tried that?
By the way, this dang thing has "only" 768 physical pixels vertically, so "1080p" won't be visible anyway, and scaling will take place. Hope you won't be diappointed. All specs including resolutions here.

  • Is it possible to download movies from iTunes???

I was wondering if it was possible to download movies from iTunes to put on to your iPod, and burn to a disc. I have looked on iTunes and i can't find anything anywhere, however on the apple website there are images from films on iPods....so how do you do it????

I believe the plan that was announced when the Movies were introduced was to roll them out to other stores sometime in 2007 which obviously didn't happen. The reason that stores for different countries have different content is due to restrictions placed on Apple by the record companies, film companies, TV companies and other copyright holders. These are quite often completely different from country to country and therefore all require their own individual contract negotiations. The varying content is not imposed by Apple, who would have a much easier job if they only had to maintain one multi-national store and deal with one set of licensees.

Launch iTunes and connect the iPhone to your computer. Select your device from the left sidebar and nevigate to the Movie tab at the top. In the window that opens check the Sync Movies checkbox and select the movie you want on the iPhone. Click Sync or Apply in the lower right corner of the iTunes window. When the sync if finished the movie will be in the video app.

  • How to download songs from ITunes Japan and France?

How to download songs from ITunes Japan and France with a credit card and address based in the US? The system appears to not allow downloads in that fashion. Please let me know if you have any details

This question is asked literally dozens of time a week in these forums, & I will answer, again. In order to purchase from any specific country's store, you will have to meet one of the following criteria:
    1) Have a credit card from that country with a billing address in that country.
    2) You may use an iTunes gift card purchased in that country, but the billing address rule still applies.
This rules are mandated by the record companies not Apple. The record companies do not care for cross-border sales.
As a new poster, just a suggestion, it might save you a little time if you use the "search" function in the upper right corner to see if your question has been asked previously. That way you don't have to wait on someone to come along to help you.

  • HT1491 Downloaded movie from Itunes onto Ipad, when tried to watch it would not start

Downloaded movie from Itunes onto Ipad, when tried to watch it would not open and start.

From iTunes on the iPad or from iTunes on your computer? BTW, you are trying to watch the movie in the videos app, correct?
if you synced the movie to the iPad, delete it and sync it again. Tap the Edit Button in the Movies tab of the Videos app and then tap the X on the movie icon to delete it. Then sync it again.
if you downloaded it directly to the iPad, close the videos app completely, reboot the iPad and then try again.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • Download movies from Itune

who can tell me what is wrong with itune, everytime I download movies from Itune, the movie is very dark, the last one can barely see. What can be done , thanks

Good point - current requirements for iTunes 9.x are:
    Macintosh Hardware
Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5 or G4 processor
Intel, PowerPC G5 or 1.0GHz PowerPC G4 or faster processor is required to play Standard Definition video from the iTunes Store
2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or faster processor is required to play HD video, an iTunes LP, or iTunes Extras from the iTunes Store
512MB of RAM; 1GB is required to play HD video, an iTunes LP, or iTunes Extras
Screen resolution of 1024x768 or greater; 1280x800 or greater is required to play an iTunes LP or iTunes Extras
Playing videos also requires at least 16MB of video RAM
Broadband Internet connection to use the iTunes Store
Apple combo drive or SuperDrive to create audio, MP3, or back-up CDs; some non-Apple CD-RW recorders may also work.
Apple SuperDrive to back up your library to DVDs; some non-Apple DVD-RW drives may also work.
