How to download new podcasts one at a time?

Hello,
can anyone tell me how to download new podcast episodes one at a time? I have a slow 70k flatrate and iTunes starts all downloads at the same time, so most of them stop because they are too slow. So I have to klick each episode manually. Instead, I would like to leave my PC for one hour, and then all the podcasts should be there.
Many thanks,
Danny

You will need both License Keys the Lightroom 4 upgrade key and the Lightroom 3 key. You can download the latest LR 4.4.1 from the site below. Just make sure you get the appropriate one for your operating system.
Adobe - Lightroom : For Macintosh
Adobe - Lightroom : For Windows
Install then you first enter the LR 4 upgrade serial number and then the LR 3 serial number when prompted.

If you use automatic syncing, select the iPod in iTunes.  There is a row of "tabs" (starting with Summary).  Click on Podcasts there.  This is the Podcasts tab, where you tell iTunes how to sync podcasts.
Sync Podcasts is checkmarked for automatic syncing.  Below that, set up the Podcasts tab to sync podcasts as desired.  For example, you can set it to Automatically include all unplayed episodes of selected podcasts.  The "all unplayed" option gets new podcasts episodes to sync automatically. Select the podcasts below.
When you click Apply, your selection on the Podcasts tab (and the other tabs...  Music, Books, etc.) sync to the iPod.  If the iPod was NOT previously set to use automatic syncing, its existing content is replaced.

I recently purchased the new nano (7th generation) and I love it except for one issue.  On my old 2nd generation nano, when I played podcasts, it would play podcasts one at a time. So if I had 20 episodes of a podcast on the device, it would stop at the end of each one.
With the new nano, I can select and play a podcast, but when it’s over, it goes straight to the next one without prompting.  It keeps on playing all of the episodes of any podcast until you stop it manually.  Setting the repeat function differently does not prevent episodes from being played automatically.
This can be very irritating when I only want to listen to one podcast.  I’ve often fallen asleep listening to one episode of a podcast, only to be woken up hours later by the iPod working its way through all subsequent episodes.  It is also annoying that any podcast which has started automatically in this way is marked as ‘played’ – even if you stop it within a few seconds.  This makes it hard to keep track of what you have actually listened to.
Is there any way to set the iPod to play all the podcasts individually? I have read the User Guide from cover to cover, and can’t find a way of doing this.

    Dude or hot-spur,
Not fishy at all!!!! You really think I would have taken any more of my time to post a bogus rant? We'll no, it is unfortunately all true. I want to hear from anyone who is experiencing such problems not anyone else that wants to put there two cents in. I really don't need anymore hate or negativity. Just people's experiences because I feel like I am the only one having so many problems. Thank you
Yes, I have had some unfortunate bad luck to have so many problems at the same time, but some of them are just things you cannot do on the new OS.
    Thank you again

how to download new version of ios 5.0 in my ipod ? i cant download new apps and i cant connect to itunes store.?

Only with iOS5 or later you can update/upgrade directly from the iPod/iPhone.
When your version of iOS is lower than 5, you must connect to iTunes and then update.
It is best when you update iTunes to the latest version first.

  • Can't download new podcasts or recent book purchases in iTunes

I can't download new podcasts or recent book purchases in iTunes. I'm using iTunes 10.6.1 on a MacBook Pro running OS 10.7.4. This started a week ago. I unsubscribed and resubscribed to my podcasts (no luck). I whitelisted the possible sending domains from a whitepaper I found on this site (no luck). I haven't added any other software or made any other changes to my computer configuration.
I bought these books on my iPad and they aren't downloaded there either (previously had no problems buying and downloading books to both iPad and MacBook). Interestingly, I was also unable to download App updates on my computer via iTunes until just now, when they suddenly were successfully downloaded. I've been able to download App updates on both iPad and iPhone all along.

Forgot to post the error message I've been getting when I open iTunes:
"There were problems downloading some purchased items.

  • IPod Plays Podcasts one at a time

I just updated my 4G iPod to V3.1 with the current updater & I am using iTunes 4.9.
Currently, I am only able to play one podcast at a time.
It will not go to the next podcast on it's own. Pressing FWD (>) to what should be the next podcast instead takes me back to the main menu. I then have to go through the the menu to get back to play the next podcast.
My iPod was able to go the next podcast both on it's own & by pressing FWD (>) before I updated the iPod but not know.
My iPod does play songs one after the other as it always did.
It looks like this is the way it is as I can not find any settings to get it to play podcast's one after the other.
    Can any one help?

    Thanks for the guess.
    Shuffle was already off.
Only 1 of several podcasts show up in the Genre "Podcast" despite the fact there are other podcasts with "Podcast" as the Genre as listed in iTunes.
So I am now only able to play podcasts one at a time. After each one, the iPod takes me back to the main menu no matter what I do.
This situation is new, & only started after I updated to V3.1. With the previous version, I was able to play podcasts one after the other.
All my Podcasts do show up in the Podcast play list.
I think we need another solution.

  • Downloading TV episodes one at a time

If I've ordered an entire TV series is there a way to make itunes download the episodes one at a time instead of trying to do it all at once? Trying to download all the episodes simultaneously slows itunes way down, I don't think the download will ever finish.
    Thanks!

On the left side under store is a section marked download. Click on that. In the lower right hand corner there is "Pause all" button. The pause icon changes to the resume icon after each of the episodes. Click on that for the episode(s) to resume.

  • Calendar app corrupted, how to download new one

My Yosemite calendar app won't open. Error message indicates it is corrupted.
How do I download new calendar aoo?

    Hey there!
Since the application was installed with Yosemite, you can reinstall it by reinstalling Yosemite:
Reinstall apps that came with your Mac - Mac Help
To reinstall an app that came with OS X (such as Mail or Calendar), reinstall OS X.
Reinstalling OS X doesn’t erase your information.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

  • Downloading new podcasts

Until today, when I would download podcasts, I would just download the ones that were "checked." Now all of the podcasts are downloaded, whether they are checked or not. And it obviously takes up too much space and I can no longer update any new podcasts. ANy suggestions on how I can just download the ones I have checked off?

Actually I think you would want the "only sync checked items" SELECTED ... but I'm having the same problem ... all of a sudden all of my podcasts are getting synced to make iPod when it used to be only the ones that were checked.

  • How to download a podcast as soon as it's updated?

I am using the Podcst app on iPhone 5s.
How do I set it so that the app will refresh a podcast as soon as it is released. For instance the website says the podcast is updated at 3:30 PM PST. So is it possible to set the app to download the new podcast immediately after its release (say a few minutes after)?
Appreciate if anyone can help. thanks.

    Hi,
Can you try first setting the value and then
    dff10.setReadOnly(true);
    or instead of dff10.setReadOnly(true);
    try
    dff10.disabled(true);
I believe you are committing after those changes.
    Thanks,

  • ITunes 11.2.2 : no labels, no automatic download new podcasts

I cannot see any longer if I subscribed or not, the labels in the list have been disappeared and I can only download on limited moments, so I need. New podcasts don't appear until very late. It is just a mess, or should I say, the mess is even bigger than before.
How come Apple created such a failure? Can I get the version before 11.2.2 back?
    iMac 10.8.5

    Hi,
I've got the same problems with iTunes as Lost in Asia since the 11.2.1 update.
It is no fun to use iTunes for Podcasts when it's performing slowly, or doesn't performa at all.
    Another iTunes Podcast function problem:
    I refreshed my podcast list.
    Let the downloads happen.
Dragged-and-dropped a few podcasts to my USB stick.
Selected my 44 podcast subscriptions and tried to "Mark them as played" to keep the list neat.
After that, complete freeze. Rainbow ball. iTunes not responding. Had to force quit.
Tried to let the rainbow ball "work" for an hour, but it wouldn't do anything.
Rebooted my iMAc in Safe mode, as suggested --> no difference in performance.
Rebooted my iMac AND iTunes in Safe mode --> no difference in performance.
Removed the single iTunes plug-in from my iMac --> no difference in performance.
Unplugged my externals (USB stick, back-up drive) and only let the Ethernet link to internet on --> no difference in performance.
    Thanks for your help.
