How to download old ibook purschaes?

Some books seem to be stucked. I can't download them or delete themeither. Deleted the app and re installedand it didd not work

Try a Restart of your device.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
After it comes back up. Download the app again. On my screen in the iBook app beside the "Store" button I have another button called ”Collections". I click this button and I see options for " Books, Purchased Books, PDF's". If you click Purchased Books you should see all that you have purchased. If they are not actually downloaded onto your device they will have the iCloud symbol in the corner of that book. Click that to download the book.

    Hi. How can I download old photos from Photo Stream to my PC? I have a new laptop with Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 with iCloud Control Panel 2.0.2.187. New pictures taken today download automatically and correctly to My Photo Stream folder (good). But old pictures from before the new laptop aren't downloaded (not good) even though I see 1,000 pictures in the Photo Stream on my iPhone. My old laptop had all the pictures in the My Photo Stream folder but that laptop was stolen so I'm trying to recover those pictures. Thanks.

    I found a hack. Go in the My Photo Stream Album in the iPhone. Click Edit. Select the photos. Click Share to open the menu of options. Here I tried both options: Copy and Save to Camera Roll; I don't know which option is the one that actually worked. Then I went to the Camera Roll Album in my iPhone and the iPhone started copying photos from Photo Stream to the Camera Roll Album. I had to do this back and forth between Copy/Save and PhotoStream/CameraRoll a couple of times until the copying picked up; I don't know what are the distilled steps. Then I connected my iPhone to the laptop and saved the files as usual. I had to do this tedious process in chunks of hundreds as the iPhone was unable to get the 1,000 photos at once. That's how I was able to download all my photos from Photo Stream. Also, Photo Stream doesn't seem to remember the original filenames so the images are re-numbered.

    The general procedure is
    supported software: can be downloaded from downloads.oracle.com. Need to get patches from Metalink.
    de-supported software: if you have Metalink access, you can submit a SR and order the CD. You will need to pay some 100 dollar for the CD though. Patches: again Metalink.

    Sign into your MAS account and go to the Purchased tab in the MAS. If the app is not installed on this particular Mac then there should be an Install button available for said app.

    I have not downgraded Safari from 5.1.7 to the older 5.0.6 so I cannot with confidence suggest you do. I read your request and and knew of where to find the Leopard version because someone wanted the same just the other day, but for a Leopard OS.
    Another option is to try Firefox, that might work for you until the software developers update their product to work with 5.1.7
    As this involves Java, is your version up to date?

    Temporarily I have used it as a webserver, but I think it's shame that I can't use it for something better.

    I am a bit used to Unix things, but I'm no experienced admin.
    So I just thought that I'd find something useful to run on my old IBook.
    I think that I have a Developer CD, maybe. But a better idea is if I can download some binaries for whatever.
    I then would be thankful for what old software should be interesting, also maybe just for a test. Such as sendmail, although I have no idea what that would give, more than some knowledge. I suspect that would be too complex for me. Earlier I had some Mac SMTP software, I think. Maybe system 9.
    But I also do not know how easy it is to lay hands on old binaries. I have searched for other old things on the Internet, that seems hard to get hold of.
