HOW TO DOWNLOAD OR RE-INSTALL PREVIOUS FIRMWARE FO...

I recently updated my firmware.....
is there a way to rollback or to re-install the previous version as i'm unable to switch off the camera shutter sounds.
there is no option for switching it off in the current version

You cant roll back. Shutter sound control has also been eliminated in some product codes wherein the countries have certain regulations about cameras requiring to have sounds.

Pleae help on how to solved the problem. Before the update, I can able to record programs on my Live TV Subscription, particularly the myTV  DVBH program. But after the update, the record function on the Options of Live TV was gone. That's why, i won't able to record programs anymore. Please help what should I do, If there's any other firmware that I may be able to replace the current one, for my record function to be operational again, or if there's no their update version available, please help me revert back to the original firmware... Thanks! I hope to get feedback soon...
As I forsee, the only solution possible is to download and install previous firmware version in which Recording function on Live TV is not disable....

Yes, a Nokia Care Center is the Final solution if the website can't offer any solution. Thanks for the feedback. Actually, my phone is still in Warranty, that's why I'm pretty sure that I don't have to pay for the services that will be perform. But still I'm into looking other solution to prevent bringing my phone to Nokia Care.
First, I had already an experience with the Nokia Care Center when I have repair my 1st N96 which took a month but they failed to repair, thus my service provider, Smart Communications, just replace the device with a new one.
Next, my location is far from the Nokia Care Center.
Finally, I opt to save all my files, with the device which is almost 95% full or 14.8GB.
Please help if there's any other option...

i bough a new imac, this haven't dvd burner, i bought a external dvd burner but the imac havent a idvd and i need this program, no other one, how to download this and install?

    Hi
how to download this and install?
There are no free DownLoads !
There are no legal DownLoads at all !
If there is no iDVD on Your Mac (and it's not on newer Macs as Apple discarded it) then You need a program that can do this.
Your Mac can burn CDs and DVDs - BUT DVD as Data-DVDs not as Video-DVDs - they need a program to be encoded and STRUCTURED as such.
    • iDVD is part of the boxed version of iLife'11 and can only be bought outside Apple as on Amazon and e-bay
    • DVD Studio pro - Part of FinalCut Studio Pro bundle - this to has expired and can only be bought second handed. (High price and tough learning Curve - but best ever done.)
    • Roxio Toast™ - Not as elegant as iDVD - but has many other positive additions (I like it as 10-Pro incl BD-component) (now version 11)
    • Burn - only free alternative I know of on internet. Very simple - Just for doing a plain Video-DVD
    Burn http://www.digital-digest.com/software/Burn.html
only You can buy from Apple is
    • FinalCut Pro-X which also can burn to DVD but without any nice themes.
    AppleMan1958
You can also buy Compressor from Apple for $50 US. It will also create DVD and BluRay but without the nice themes.

  • How to download but not install OSX Mountain Lion on Mavericks

    Hi all
I would like to download but not install OSX Mountain Lion on my MBP which is currently running OSX Mavericks.
This however seems impossible. I think OSX Mavericks were already installed on my MBP and therefore it seems "impossible" to download it.
Now, why would I to do this? The answer is quite reasonable, due to certain demands related to an application portfolio I need Mountain Lion, because the portfolio is not upgraded to run on Mavericks. And, it is more reasonable to downgrade a version of OSX, rather waiting for the portfolio upgrade which can take years.
Yes, I need to downgrade my secondary MBP which also came with preinstalled Mavericks. This can be done, if I only could download but not install Moutain Lion.
It should be easy enough; download Mountain Lion, make an installer and make a bootable thumb usb stick. Then erase Mavericks and install Mountain Lion.
I have previously bought Mountain Lion so it is accessible to me in the App Store, but whenever I try to hit the Download button, I get a message saying this can't be done, since I am running Mavericks.
This bugs me, it should be obvious users needs the flexibility to swap whatever OSX version they need. It is still software.
So, how can I download but not install Mountain Lion on my newer MBP that came with preinstalled Mavericks?
I would like to see answers like:
"In order to get this to work, you first have to disable the locking mechanism in [...] " instead of "No, this is impossible to do"
    Regards

    Thanks for your reply Eric
Can't help wondering thought, people are ok with this?
Basically Apple are saying: "Do not attempt to install an older version of OSX which came preinstalled. If so, expect multiple failures." Really?! Has it always been so? For me it's not like I'm going to install Snow Leopard on my Late 2013 Retina MBP, but I would expect some form of backward compatibility between the previous version and it successor. Apparently this is not possible, and how is this even acceptable?
Personally, I am not going to downgrade, as if I had a choice, but I would and I expected however, the possibility to at least download the previous OSX version. What do you do if you have bought several applications, not necessarily online from App Store and buy yourself a new Mac with preinstalled Mavericks and after installing your "old" applications they fail to work properly? What do you do since downgrading apparently is not an option. So... again, what do you do?
If you don't have friends with an older Mac, you could be facing serious problems. And I'm not talking about gaming, but serious business.
I find this quite disturbing actually, and please tell me it's not so. There gotta be a way to do this?
I simply want to download the OS but I expect some registry values (like windows' registry) keeps preventing this.
It should be possible to simply download and not download and install in one operation, shouldn't it?
    Regards

  • How to download, unzip, and install software.

Brand new to iMac. Downloaded Alice. Found it in downloads. Unzipped it. Now can't figure out how to install it/run it to save my freakin life. Help. Please & thank you.

Sorry - is Alice an application or? Assuming it is an app, simply double click the file - either it will tell you to copy it into your Applications folder (which means you just drag it over) or it will have its own installer and will do the install automatically.

  • HT201272 How to download an App already previously downloaded but removed ?

I had downloaded an App (United Airlines) and deleted it (the updates wouldn't download properly); I now want to download it again but it shows as "downloaded" and I can't do anything !
    Any idea ?
    THANK YOU !

iPad's and Macs have different operating systems. Apps for Macs don't run on iPads and apps for iPads don't run on Macs. If a developer has developed a version for Macs and a version for iPads they are almost always a separate purchase. You cannot put your iPad apps on your Mac, except to store them in the iTunes content libraries.

  • How to download and install application via desktop software?

    Hello everybody.
I'd like to know how to download and then, install applications on my Bold 9700 using desktop manager (version 6.1).
Can someone enlighten me about it please?

The easiest way to install apps is to use either App World on your phone (available from mobile.blackberry.com if not installed on your phone) or via the web front end of App World (http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/) , plugging your phone in via USB.

  • I bricked my 2g iPhone, will reinstalling previous firmware fix it?

I bought it off Craigslist and it was owned by a 16 year old girl, so I doubt she jailbroke it, doesn't mean she didn't though.  I wanted to reformat everything and restore it and it worked, but now it won't make it past the "Activation" mode.  It's stuck in Emergency mode and I've restored it 10 different times to no success. If I install previous firmware, will that fix it?

You need to install a current active working SIM card from the Carrier this iPhone (2g Original) is locked to. If in the US this is ATT. Not an old SIM card like you could use on 3g, 3gs or iP4, but a working SIM card.

  • HT201364 How to download Mavericks

I have a new MBP with Mavericks "factory installed". I want to make a USB recovery drive. Step 1 in this procedure requires me to download a copy of the Mavericks installer app. However, the App Store will not let me download it. Please advise how to download the Maverics install app.

There are two ways to download Mavericks on pre-installed systems.
    1. Restart using Command+R to boot into the Recovery HD. From the OS X Utilities Menu, select Reinstall OS X.
    2. Restart using Command+Option+R to boot into Internet Recovery which boots into Apple's servers and their Recovery HD. From the OS X Utilities Menu, select Reinstall OS X.
The above 2 methods will download AND install Mavericks to the target drive.
What you might try is the following to extract the necessary file(s) to create a USB thumb drive installer:
Plug in a formated USB external drive (not a USB thumb drive unless its 32GB) and point to that drive to install to.
You will have to watch the download and when your Mac restarts after the download and at the black screen, unplug your external drive. You should boot to your normal Desktop.
Plug your USB external drive back in and look for an InstallESD.dmg file. It might be in a folder named something like "OS X Install Files". Copy it some where like your ~/Downloads folder or your ~/Desktop.
Download DiskMaker X 3.0.3. When prompted for the Install OS X Mavericks.app file, point to the InstallESD.dmg file from the above step. Point to a USB thumb drive (8GB) as the destination drive.
I don't know if the above steps will work as I don't have a Mac with Mavericks pre-installed. But I got that last step from the DiskMaker X FAQ under the question of "I got my version of OS X pre-installed with my Mac. How can I get the OS X installer ?"
