You need to go to the directory where you unzipped JDeveloper, for example:
cd opt/jdev/jdevj2eebase1013/jdev/bin
Once there, do this:
chmod +x jdev
chmod +x ojc
Now you can try this:
nohup ./jdev &
or simply
./jev
I usually create a soft link in ~/bin

As Bobby said, you need to install the SAPGUI for JAVA to access the SAP R/3 from your linux machine. The software is available in the following path,

Hi there, and thanks for your help.
I try to start the download from my Firefox12. (The same way I did when I successfully downloaded InDesign.) Adobe Downloader starts. (I also tried starting the Downloader beforehand, to no avail.) Sometimes nothing happens, sometimes I get as far as to be asked where I want the program to be installed. Then the download won't start and a little grey sentence tells me to sign in again do Adobe Downloader, which I had of course done before to get thus far.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

I tried to choose the file /adobe that I downloaded InDesign into as well
as /program files (x86).
I do not get any specific error messages.
The download simply will not start.
I use Windows7, by the way.

On android if you purchased it through the Google Play store its just a matter of re-downloading it. It doesn't matter if the device has changed or reset, you can put it on as many devices that you have as long as they are linked to your Google Play account. If it was pre-loaded in your device like the Galaxy Note 10.1 you have to go to the Samsung App store, or whichever brand it is, to redownload it from their app site.

I think there is a PKGBUILD somewhere in the TURs, anyway, as its a java prog. you can run it directly from its directory, so the only thing you would need, is to move it to /opt/azureus and make a simbolic link to its binary in /usr/bin
Anyway, i use it with my dial-up and get around 6k... and you can get real good stuff from BT.

Downloading Photoshop with Creative Cloud...

I am trying to download Photoshop CS6 with Creative Cloud, after purchasing Creative Cloud full version. However, when it takes me to Adobe Manager it says Photoshop is 'up to date' and doesn't allow me to click the 'install' option as the others. I have downloaded and carried out a 30 day trial on Photoshop CS6 previously, so don't know if this has affected installation. I am also unsure if I am properly connected with the Creative Cloud, after purchasing Creative Cloud on Tuesday 2nd April. As when I go to order status it states it is shipped and with 'download' option, which takes me to the Adobe Manager, where I then face the problem stated above.
Please advise how I can resolve this issue and download/ install the full Photoshop CS6 version onto my Mac.

funny that the first option is to uninstall the up-to-date program in question, when the title of the article states the problem to be that the program is not installed to begin with. It's very hard to uninstall a program that isn't there!
number two didn't work, and i've tried number three more than a few times. I'll get to number four today (the cleaner). I suspect that the manager is not uninstalling OR installing correctly. It just spins on the home tab, and never fully uninstalls, though that could just be sloppy programming. I always have to go into the task manager and stop a process manually. Last time, i tried extracting it from the registry prior to reinstall, but that didn't work either. I have no current or previous installations of the "up-to-date" program on this drive. But i did have CS5 designer suite installed on the previous drive C, which is now drive E. Could that be the problem? Drive C is a brand new SSD, the motherboard was just replaced and windows was reinstalled onto a clean drive, the same drive to which i am installing CC manager.
so i'll try the cleaner today. Finger's crossed! Thanks.

Nokia's Ovi Suite (etc.) is as incompatible with Linux as diesel fuel in a petrol car, so let that idea go. But there are Linux solutions. For me, I have two 8 GB memory cards, both nearly full with mp3's, and all those songs were installed to the cards using drag-and-drop. You don't necessarily need a software program, just Mass Storage mode. I made a folder called "Music" in the root area of the card and moved all the band/singer folders (with individual album folders inside) there. The Music Player should find them, or manually refresh the database. The same thing should work for pictures, although there may be some differences between your E7 and my E73.
As for the other functionality, I did a few web searches and found several "Suite" programs like Wammu, Xgnokki, and Nokuntu. Search these forums for "Ubuntu" and you will find many other similar discussions. /t5/PC-and-Mac-Software/Nokia-PC-Suite-Ubuntu/td-p/247373 is the one that got me started. Wammu and Xgnokki should both be available through the Ubuntu Software Center (Applications -> Ubuntu Software Center, unless they changed the menu layout). Nokuntu looks really interesting, but you have to get it separately from http://sourceforge.net/projects/nokuntu/ .
Embarrassingly, I have never used any of these programs, so you will have to experiment to see what works. You won't have full Ovi Suite support, like firmware installs and maps downloads, but it's something. If you realize that most Linux programmers are university students, or people like you and me, writing software for fun, I think this is quite acceptable. Not to mention that large companies like Nokia aren't always forthcoming about how their own software works. Linux can be a chaotic OS, so take it slowly don't expect everything to work as smoothly as commercial software. If you have specific questions about programs like Wammu, most have their own web site and support system (i.e. http://wammu.eu/support/ ), or you could visit the Ubuntu forums http://ubuntuforums.org/ .
