How to download programs from OVI-Store?

Hello,
I need some assistance for downloading programs from OVI-Store.
Is there a way to download over the PC, N8 is connected to the PC?
I'm unable to find any download button or something similiar? Besides this, I can only send 5 programs a day (Germany) to the N8.
I'm totally new to smartphones stuff!

Did you try to change the location in Settings/iTunes & AppStore/AppleID -> view Apple ID, log in ->Country/Region -> India?

Can't download anything from Ovi store , grayed-ou...

Hi,
I can't download anything from Ovi store anymore , both "download via PC" and "Download on mobile" options are disabled (grayed)
This applies to all applications including those which I have never downloaded before !!!
I have even created a completely new Ovi account , but with the same problem !

Please use the search function as your question may be asked, and answered before.
When you look at the page in the store you will see a link below the buttons which says:
As you can see on the above image (and on the Nokia Store app pages) you need to install Nokia Drop for the buttons to activate.

You dont have change your wifi settings.(I hopr you dont have any probs with your internet connection)

How to download music from ovi without voucher

i have c6-00 which is not a unlimited music edition phone. I want to download songs from ovi
so can you tell from where i can get voucher to buy music

Which country are you in? In most countries, use a PC to log in to the Nokia Music store and buy "credits" there using a supported debit/credit card.
You can also buy your music elsewhere (any music service that sells tracks as MP3 or AAC files will do; e.g., iTunes or Amazon or Napster music will work on your phone, too).

Re-Download app from Ovi STore

I just bought an app from the Ovi STore (Shozu) but had some problems during installation
I tried re-downloading it but it prompts me again to buy the application
How can you re-download an application you allraedy purchased from the ovi store (this is also imporant for after firmware upgrade when you have to reinstall a big number of applications again)

Can't download apps from ovi store

Hi, i have a nokia 5530 xm
i had some corrupted music files in my music library so i made a back up-file on the computer and erased everything on the memorycard
Then i loaded all the stuff back on the memorycard. But then almost all my apps were gone, so i tried to download them again. But i can't click the 'download' button (it's dark gray, like if you've already clicked it) so i think the ovi store remembers that i have downloaded the apps before and it's like i have got them on my phone but i have checked all the installed apps and all the installation files in the application manager but they aren't there.
Anyone knows what to do about this?

How to download apps from app store?

Hi,
I try to download a free game named "motoheroz" from app store with my iphone, but it doens't work properly. My phone screen is blocked with a message: "download of motoheroz will start". Several hours after the dowload doesn't start and "OK" button doesn't work. I can't download another apps and app store is blocked in this screen. How can I do to correct it?

It solved now. Just need to turn off the "automatically download when on wifi" from setting - store and turn off the device. When i restart the device, apps downloading is working properly.

How to download wallpaper from media store?

I have a new Samsung Gusto (SCH U360). I want to browse and download wallpaper other than the completely inadequate 10 choices (interested in other ringtones also). Here are the Verizon site instructions:

Click on Wallpapers and review the various categories of wallpapers available.

The wallpaper will be sent to your mobile phone.

I have not found "Features & Downloads" on the site or on my phone, nor "Launch the Media Store". Would prefer to use pictures on my PC, if that's possible. Also more ringtones.

The steps you have provided are the correct steps for online downlads to the device. Try these steps on your phone choose browse and downloads.
From a Media Center (Get It Now) enabled handset, select Media Center (Get It Now) from the handset menu.
Select a category then press the center of the 5-way navigation key:
Music & Tones (Get Tunes & Tones)
Pictures & Video (Get Pix & Flix)
Games (Get Fun & Games)
Browse & Download (Get Going)
Some handsets require that you select the Shopping Cart then press the center of the 5-way navigation key before selecting a category.
If applicable, choose Get New Applications and / or a sub-category then press the center of the 5-way navigation key.
Navigate to the desired application then press the center of the 5-way navigation key.
Select Info then press the center of the 5-way navigation key for a description of the application.
Select the preferred purchase option then press the center of the 5-way navigation key.
Select Next then press the center of the 5-way navigation key.
The selected application will download and install to the wireless device.

Can't download anything from Ovi store (N8)

Hello, it all started on Saturday when i purchased Rio birds game and it turned to a "failed" download. I press Download button and then page refreshes and I get the Red button,"download failed" or something. I purchased another game day after that thinking its a temporary "bug" or something, it happened before and I got the same error. Tried downloading random free stuff but soon as I press Download button I get the download error again. Its been like this for 5 days now, cant download anything, not even stuff I purchased. Emailed Ovi support twice on sunday and monday but have not recieved a reply yet. Very odd IMO, 3,4 working days without a reply is very unprofessional. Do they even recieve those mails?
And I tried reinstalling Ovi store but still got the same download error.
Any tips or something that doesnt include hard reboot?

I am having the same problem i got angrybirds seasons tried to download, it kept coming up as error try downloading again but still no game. I contacted o2 they put me through to nokia i was told to turn off phone take out battery then try again and surprise it never worked. Failing that they said to do a soft reset and still it doesn't work and it now tells me Maximum number of download attempts reached it is now beginning to really bug my happiness. It also won't connect to my wifi.

I'm guessing that it is a regional issue.. try opening store.ovi.com in the browser.. I've not tried the ovi icon recently, but it didn't work a few days ago where as opening that link in the browser did work

You don't download it from the iTunes app. Read:
iOS 4: Updating your device to iOS 5 or later
If you have an iPad 2 or the new iPad it will be updated to iOS 6.

i want 2 download applications for my 5800 via my pc.
i have installed ovi suite..
however it sends a link 2 my phone and i ave 2 download directly 4m my phone...
is der a way 2download and install de applications on my phone via my pc...

The latest version of Ovi suite allows you to download and install via your pc and via usb to phone !

i used to sign in n download application from ovi store but after 6 months i.e now may 2013 when i select a file, download option not working whereas sending option works:-)

sonujee - Try to uninstall and re-install the Nokia Store application. Go to Nokia Store web site http://store.nokia.com and re-download the Nokia Store application.

How to download from OVi Store ???

Hi guys,
I live in Syria and I want to download apps form OVi Store but I can't because this service isn't available in my area.
I tried everything from proxy servers to Ultrasurf, but all my attempts failed. I have Nokia Asha 300 and it's so disappointing that I can't get this service.
What shall I do ???

Just choose the app that you would like to download, then choose 'download'. If it won't, checkyour network operator.
