I tried to deploy the Hello World JSP application to Azure from Eclipse following the instructions at http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/azure/hh690944%28VS.103%29.aspx. Got the following error when trying to import Publish Settings file downloaded from Azure

Invalid website publish settings file to import publish profile

I am new user of Azure. I created a virtual machine through Azure's website, and ran "Get-AzurePublishSettingsFile" command to download the publish setting file. I later used VS 2012 to publish an ASP.NET website. After selecting the downloaded
publish setting file, an error shows up saying that "Invalid website publish settings file to import publish profile".
It should be noted that I wasn't able to find "Download the publish profile" on Azure's website itself. The Dashboard page didn't have the link to download the publish profile.
I am wondering what might be the cause of the error? How to fix it? Thanks for any thoughts in advance!

When running Get-AzurePublishSettingsFile, I actually downloaded the publish profile successfully. The problem is with importing the file: after selecting the publish profile in Visual Studio, I got the error ""Invalid
website publish settings file to import publish profile".
Did anyone else run into the same problem?

How to download the big file in SDN

Hi buddies,
Do you have any idea how to download the big files in SDN such as NetWeaver CE trial? I cannot download it with download tool, and if I download it by IE, after dowloading for a while, I always get "connection reset" error.

There seems to be a few people making comments about problems with downloads. I myself have never had a problem, but I think that downloading from in Europ isn't a problem.
I would try and use a tool such as GetRight download manager which picks up the fact that something is downloading and manages that download, so it will be able to restart the download.

Hi,
In order to download a file from application layer to a local file in background,
first write a report(ZREPORT1) in which do the following steps:
OPEN DATASET g_file_1 FOR INPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING DEFAULT.
loop the g_file and append all the data into another internal table.
end of this report you shd have all the data in the application layer file into your internal table.
Now create another report(ZREPORT2) and submit this report in background.
that is,
JOB_OPEN
JOB_SUBMIT and
JOB_CLOSE
and in job_submit submit ZREPORT1 which downloads the file in application layer.

You need to share a directory on your local drive and give permissions for the database server to write a file on your local drive. Or you may create the file on your database server and copy the same to your local drive.

VBA How to download a generated file from IE

Hi guys,
Apologies if this is an easy one, I couldn't find anything that helped me with my problem and was hoping someone might point me in the right direction for which object/argument to use.
I'm trying to automate the downloading of a report, it will be a CSV file however it's not a static address (i.e. www.hello.com/files/goodbye.csv)
The website is a CMS with database backend and upon clicking a button, the report is generated and the user will be prompted to download a resulting file (once it has been prepared).
It is this action that I am trying to automate, however I'm not sure how to get IE to click the button and automatically saving instead of prompting the user at all (ideally this will be done with IE Visible being false in the end).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How can I get settings files out of the Library folder?

I had to do a clean reinstall (erase & reinstall) to clear up some problems on my Mac. Unfortunately, when you do this, your settings, customizations, bookmarks etc. aren't transferred over as they do when you upgrade in the normal way.
For example, dashboard widgets are in each user's <home folder>/Library/Widgets folder.
I could restore some of these settings by dragging the settings files from the old System Folder to the new one. Unfortunately, Apple is making this harder by hiding the Library folder in the user folder, both on the Mac and on the backup drive.
There is a command to enter in Terminal to show your Library folder, but this only seemed to work on the Mac and not on my backup drive.
How can I get key settings files out of the Library folder on my backup drive when the Library folder is hidden?
