How to download songs from the cloud to my itunes library

I have already began the process of downloading songs from the cloud onto my itunes library. My internet decided to rest itself so once i reconnected to the internet I had to pause all downloads. I am now trying to finish the process of downloading the songs and itunes has been processing the file of 3 songs for the past hour. Is there anyway I can fix this?

I doubt the first generation ATV supports iCloud.
iCloud was introduced long after the first ATV and there have been no more updates for the first ATV.

Yes, you certainly can. You just tap the iCloud download button to download the tracks.

    1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now?

  • Download songs from the cloud to my library

I stored my songs in the cloud from one computer to get them to another. Now these songs are stored in the library with an icloud status as "matched" and they cannot be played/moved/downloaded to anywhere else. How do I download them to my library so I can have access to them?
I've tried following instructions ie right click on a song and click download, but I don't have a download option when I right click??? WHAT IS THIS? WHAT IS LIFE!!!!

If the songs are not in your iTunes library, download them as indicated here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519.  Then sync them to your iPod.

  • Trouble downloading songs from the Cloud

Hi, I'm having trouble downloading songs onto my iPhone 4. My sister just bought a bunch of songs on her iPhone 4, and they showed up in my phone, but will not download. When I tried to go through iTunes to download them, instead of using the Cloud, they will not download and the message "Download error. Tap to retry." appears even though I've tried see real times. Is there anything I can do to download them?

Disk Utility has two things (at least my old version does), First Aid and Permissions.  If your drive reports problems when verifying with FA then you have to boot from another drive to try to repair.  Permissions can run on active boot disk. Run FA before Permissions.
On occasion I have had FA report problems when verifying on my active boot disk and I think it was because files were changing and it was seeing errors that weren't really there.  I frequently verify my active drive (quit all applications) and have it report all-clear so usually I verify the active drive and only verify externally if I see an issue.
On the beachball issue, how long do you let it go before force quit?  Some things just take a long time to process, and smartlists can be a pretty heavy demand in iTunes.

  • How to download pictures from the cloud to a new phone

I have a new iPhone 6 plus and want to get my pictures from my iphone 4s.  they are backed up to the cloud.

Pictures are not "backed up" to iCloud, with the exception of their inclusion in a full backup of the device. If they are in Photo Stream, then they will be in the Photo Stream tab in the Photos app once you sign into iCloud on the iPhone 6. If they are part of a backup, then you need to choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" during the setup process on the iPhone 6. If you've already set it up, go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings, to start over.

  • Why do I get the beach ball, and other weird behavior, while downloading songs from the cloud?

I created a smart playlist to filter out my matched and purchased songs that were less than 256kbps.  I then "select all" (or do them in small chunks this way) and delete the tracks, move them to trash (not from icloud) and then select all again and download the better quality versions.
Many, many times it runs fine for a bunch of tracks and then all of a sudden it locks up with the beachball.
I've had to re-start my mac a few times.  Three times I've had it treat me like this was the first time I've opened itunes.  Had to accept the licensing agreement and re-start itunes match.  Other times it did not make me do this all over again.
Based on stuff I read on the boards I tried deleting the itunes preference file in my user library.  Hasn't stopped the beach ball.
I don't understand why it runs for a bunch of tracks and then just locks up.
Maybe I'm not removing all of the plist files I should but I thought so.
    Any advice?
    Thanks.

  • I have bought complete albums in the past... Now that I am trying to download them from the cloud, some songs no longer appear in My Purchases... How can/do I retrieve them?

I have bought complete albums in the past... Now that I am trying to download them from the cloud, some songs no longer appear in My Purchases... How can/do I retrieve them?

Do those tracks still show on the album in the store ? If not then the rights-holder must have removed them, in which case you won't be able to redownload them, you will have to copy them back from your backup of your downloads/library. If they are still on the album in the store then check to see if you've hidden them : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases - Apple Support

    Hi,
Yes, it will use cellular data. If you know that you are going to out of wifi range, you can predownload some music whilst you have a wifi connection.

....... is there a way for me to get my old music library (which was controlled by my dad's apple ID) onto my new mac, but from that point on, start using my own apple ID for purchases?........
Yes, once the content is in iTunes on your computer, just click it to play and authorise your computer to play it by entering your Dad's ID and password.
Log into your own account and start purchasing your own content which will then be added to the existing content.

  • Do I have to download each of my songs from the cloud individually on my iPad?

Do I have to download each of my songs from the cloud individually onto my iPad?

It sounds like you might want to just turn iTunes Match off on your iPad and sync the old-fashioned way from your iTunes library. That way, you can just choose what music you want and not have to redownload everything. You can always turn iTunes Match back on later if you choose to.
Now the other benefit of iTunes Match is that it upgrades your tracks to 256 Kbps. If you're keen on having those higher quality tracks to listen to on your iPad (remember, they're also larger files), you can upgrade them in your iTunes library. Once you've run Match and it's finished its work, you can delete your songs (in iTunes on your computer) and Match will let you redownload them at the higher quality. Just be sure to have a current backup before doing this, just in case, and also note that some tracks might not be able to matched. Be careful not to delete those. You can sort your songs by Kind to weed those out.

  • Why do I have to keep re-downloading all of my songs from the cloud with iTunes match?

I will download all of my songs from the cloud. But then I will wake up one morning and have to re-downlaod all of them. This is really anoying because it takes time for the songs to download, so i can't listen to them.

This is on my iPhone 4. I will download them and then it will randomly just decide that I will have to re-download all of the songs again. And this process just keeps repeating!!! It is annoying!
