I have bought many products all have been lost in costa rica the service has been bad very bad awfull not stores where i live not any real help I cannot travel 7 hours to get my products they cannot sent it for me I cannot bealive such a millionaire company has so real bad services for us in central america costa rica why?????
I have receips of all the purchasing Apple Company take mo0re care for our area it seems here we are abandone emplies are rude they say you have to come or send somebody as if that is so easy as if we do not have other responsabilities as if we may spend thousands of colones what dissapoinment

No quiero su vulgar respuesta por la verdad que escribi le  duele a usted y a los que como usted de seguro hacen cosas parecidas......
No le doy autoridad a Usted para que me tutee  no lo conozco. Esa manera de usted responder y de tratar de humillarme por mi Mal Ingles por no saber de Imacs es pesima horrible nada profesional nada humana de parte suya dediquese por favor q corregir a sus hijos...a usted mismo.
Como usted es de rudo asi son esos Señores empleados que no ayudan para nada, asi responden esos empleados cuando llamo amablemente exponiendo la situacion buscando asistencia pertinente a mi caso.
Quien va a querer ayuda de personas tan insolentes como esas como usted merecen ser despedidos y contratar verdaderas personas que amen sus trabajos a sus clientes que son los que les dan de comer.
De seguro que el verdadero fundador de Apple de las  Mac los despediria si  descubre tratos  tan poco amables tan cero profesionales con el  cliente.....
Soy cliente comprenda Sr Perfecto...yo he invertido he pagado mi buen billete por los productos no me los han regalado.

Yo lo despederia inmediatamente de mi Empresa con esa manera de responder a un cliente o a cualquier persona.

Mi respuesta real no  ha gustado a cierta persona aqui que aparenta mucho saber ....deberia esa persona dedicarse a otras cosas en vez de insultar a clientes como a mi.
Esa persona me insulta por mi mal Ingles, me trata de ignorante por no saber de las imac...asi tratara a sus clientes que horror publico eso es muy feo. Busco ayuda porque no se de Macs, busco ayuda porque para eso hay gente honesta dispuesta a ayudar, busco ayuda porque la necesito.
De seguro habra gente amable, profesiponal que ama su trabajo, que respeta a sus clientes, que buscara la solución propia a situaciones serias como la mía para satisfacer al cliente en su problema en este caso recuperar productos  comprados en Cash por mi.
Lo que escribi en esta comunidad es asi, es la verdad no un insulto a mi me insultaron me trataron mal por telefono, ahora por este medio por preguntar amablemente como hacer para recobrar los productos comprados...mi comentario también va para hacer conciencia al buen servicio al cliente al respeto por el trabajo donde llegan personas,  si esas personas llamadas clientes, esos clientes que compran productos que generan dinero para las compañias que a su vez emplean personas las cuales reciben un salario para subsistir en este mundo materialista.
Me disculpo estimada comunidad si los Ofendo si por pedir ayuda y tratar de explicar por que ocupo ayuda con la verdad ofendo no ha sido mi intención...para eso estan estos espacios para expresar las necesidades para no ocultar la verdad de cada caso cada cliente...todos somos clientes aqui y de seguro empleados...algunos amables otros no....
Hay individuos que se ofenden por la verdad, nadie tiene el derecho de interrumpir con insultos deiciendome que escriba o no escriba en este espacio que es para los clientes.
No hay derecho de tutearme tampoco.
Lo que sucede a mi de seguro sucede a otras personas...esto se da en mi Pais no se en otros paises.
Ojala la estimada Empresa Apple ponga mas atencion al servicio al cliente a sus empleados y busque un mejor sistemas para dar mejor soporte a los clientes y sus necesidades.
Mi versión no es compatible con App Store lo que tengo es Itunes y ese itunes solo muestra productos para Ipad o Iphone.

    Thanks, varjak, it is too easy to fall into use of jargon assuming everyone understands what it means.
    One additional point in all of this, not all "iDevice" apps run on every "iDevice".  Some are customized for a specific device, or class of devices such as the iPod/iPhone with their smaller screen.  Others for just the iPads for their larger screens.  So the user needs to be sure they are getting an app that will work on their specific device.
    And to Phoneboone, you do need to purchase the app again if it is for a different class of equipment.  When you are looking at apps such as iWorks for the Mac and iWorks components for the iPad, the iPad versions are very inexpensive.  Pages is only $10 (US) which is really cheap for such a good word processor that reads and saves in the MS Word format.
    Anyway, search for what you need and just enjoy the convenience of so many options for apps.

    Here is an update and more information:  I actually have two MBP's.  One is a mid-2009 model and one is a new, mid-2012.  I transferred files from the mid-2009 to the mid-2012, but I use both computers frequently.  This problem only occurs on the mid-2009 and not on the mid-2012.  I have authorized both computers.

    Problem : App will not download to iPad when purchased from App Store - stuck with Cloud icon
    Last night I tried to download an app over wi-fi onto my iPad Air, but the app did not install.
    I have plenty of space (the app is 24.1mb, I have 3.4gb free space) and there are no restrictions whatsoever on my iPad - no blocks on App store purchases, no age-related restrictions, no country restrictions etc.
    Normally from the App Store page you would tap the price (in this case the app was free), enter your iTunes password, and the app would download.
    Also a new icon appears on the home screen and a circle shows the progress of the download.
    However this did not happen.
    Instead I have the Cloud icon (the one that shows when you have bought an app but it is not currently installed on your device) and a message that says "You've already purchased this, so it will be downloaded now at no additional cost".
    If I press OK I am then prompted to enter my iTunes password, the Cloud symbol briefly changes to a circle (and I mean for a split-second, like the blink of an eye) and then the Cloud symbol appears again.
    The app does not download - in fact it does not even *attempt* to download.
    I have tried this >20 times now and it always occurs excatly like this.
    After Googling this problem (which seems common) and reading over a dozen threads on this forum plus Apple's own official support pages, this is what I've tried:
    I can re-download other apps that I have previously purchased on this iPad, with no problems.
    I purchased another app on my iPhone 5 and was then able to download onto my iPad with no problems.
    I have reset my iPad >5 times - both by pressing/holding the home/power buttons, and also a full switch off and restart.
    I have logged out of my iTunes account on the iPad, and logged back in.
    The wi-fi is Virgin Media fibre optic broadband with a verified speed of 20 meg (confirmed by Speedtest) plus an 802.11-n Belkin router and my iPad will happily load web pages, stream videos on YouTube, download other apps etc.
    I have reset/rebooted my internet connection
    In an attempt to eliminate by broadband connection from the possible causes, I have switched off my router, linked my iPad to the hotspot feature on my iPhone and tried to download the app over cellular data, but still cannot download the app.
    I have tried on 2 other wi-fi networks but still cannot download this one app.
    My iTunes account has a cerdit balance from an iTunes card, but the app was free anyway
    Nothing I try will download the app in question.
    The app is iPad only, so I cannot install on my iPhone to try and kick-start the process.
    I guess I could install the app on my computer and then sync the iPad, but that's *working around* the problem - it's not *fixing* the problem.
    (Since getting the iPad I use almost never use my computer. And anyway what if I did not have a computer? Didn't iOS go "PC-free" with version 5?)
    I would like to call Apple but my 90-day telephone support has expired (the iPad is around 6 months old) and I don't want to buy Apple Care for this one problem.
    I can't make it to an Apple Store to speak to a Genius.
    Bearing in mind the list of things I've already tried, what do I do next?

    No need to apologize, I actually found the phrase "If your iPad ever craps the bed" amusing under the circumstances
    I checked the list of installed apps like you suggested (Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Show all apps) but this problem app is not in the list. I have also swiped down on the home screen to search for it, but again it does not show.
    While it has not let me download the app (and I just tried it again) it has helped me to eliminate a few things from the list of what to try, and I can definitely conclude that it has not downloaded.
    I guess I need to fire up my PC and download it / sync my iPad.

    You need to be in a country to buy from its store, so whilst you are in Switzerland you can only use the Swiss store - you will need to be in Spain to use the Spanish store.
    On each film's description page in the store there should be a list of the language(s) and/or subtitles that it has on it e.g. here in the UK one of the new releases, Svengali, has listed on its description page :
    If there is a particular film that you would like to buy in a particular language that is not currently available in the Swiss store then you can try requesting that it be added, but unless the Swiss rights-holder for the film agrees to it then Apple won't be able to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html
    All iTunes gift cards are country-specific, so you will only be able to redeem and use the Spanish gift card when you are in Spain with a Spanish billing address on your account.

    After resetting your password you might then need to log out of your account on your iPod by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it
    If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

    The old owner needs to go to  Apple's website to "edit your Support Profile" to delete ownership registration of your product(s).
    You then register your "new" device, also online. Once the old owner has deleted ownership, the serial number is freed for a user (new owner-you) to add it. You should obtain/have an Apple ID first.
    On your computer, in the App Store Application, sign-out the old account. Create a new account (or sign in your account - your Apple ID).

    Simply, you can't download it.
    If you want to upgrade to iphoto 11 then you'll need to either
    1. Upgrade your OS to 10.7.5 - which requires a purchase of the OS
    Or
    2. Find an iLife 11 install disk. You may get one on Amazon or Ebay.
