How to drag multiple layers to a new tab?

I want to drag multiple adjustment layers, typically four with default masks but no masking has been applied, from one document to another. I have read several articles about this, but no method works reliably for me. I running CS6.
Any suggestions?

Hello, you cannot drag from the layers panel, this has been requested several times already.
BUT, you can do it from the document itself. The explanation seems long, but it is an easy finger gym, once you've done it a few times.
You can switch temporarily to the move tool by holding the CTRL key (on a PC, CMD on a Mac).
Right-click when doing so gives you a list of the layers located under the cursor.
You can then target a first adjustment layer.
Continue holding CTRL or CMD, and add the SHIFT key. (Usually, Shift means "add" in Photoshop and in other programs) and right-click to add other adjustment layers to the targeted list.
Keep holding the CTRL(PC)/CMD(Mac) key, and drag the targeted layers to the tab of the other document, wait for Photoshop to switch to that one, and release the mouse on top of your canvas. (holding the shift key ensures centering of the layers)
Basically, CTRL+SHIFT+Right-click on a PC, CTRL+CMD+SHIFT on a Mac, then CTRL+drag.
You can remove the CTRL/CMD key if you switch to the move tool altogether.

    No you can't. Renaming grading layers is a features since version 7 a.k.a. CC. Time to upgrade?

  • How can I drag multiple photos into a new iPhoto library from search box?

    I lost but found my list of photos that were in my iPhoto library. I am unable to drag more than one photo at a time from the search box into the new iPhoto library box. Am I doing something wrong or do I have to drag one at a time? (That would take hours.) Please help if you can!

    Thanks again. I know how to highlight and drag multiple photos or a list of files, but the only place I found my list was by going to Finder>File>Find then a dialogue box comes up. In the dialogue box I put in iPhoto and checked that then put in "kind" "is" "image" and "size" "is greater than" "30" KB. When I click search, the entire list from my library comes up but that is when I am unable to drag more than one file at a time. The box that comes up when I search isn't (at least I don't think it is) a "folder" as such. Any suggesttions?

    Exactly what the title says. Firefox did this before updating to 5 if I'm not mistaking. I want Firefox to Google search text when I drag it to the tabs bar (when an arrow pointing in between tabs appears). From there a new tab with the Google search should appear normally.

    If I drag "title and description" which is not a url and try to create a new tab with it nothing will happen. I can drag that text to the the search bar and do a search.
    If I grabbed a url which was text not shown as a link I can drag to the location bar, the new tab button, to a tab, between two tabs and that is all legitimate.
    I can drag a ''[http://dmcritchie.mvps.org/firefox/kws.htm link]" without selecting it in the same manner the location bar, the new tab button, to a tab, between two tabs and that is all legitimate.
    I cant see that you have lost what it sounds like you had because I don't think you would have generated a search in that manner. You can certainly drag something like a sentence to the search bar, so even if you were the only one that could do start a search by dragging text you can still drag it to the search bar.

    Some of photoshop styles have multiple styles icon in style tab that should to use together, I do below steps but it doesn't show effect style as psd file.(in psd file effect style is true but when I do below steps my effect style is not true).

    2. I apply first icon style to first layer.
    3. Then I duplicate first layer.
    4. Then I apply second icon style to duplicated layer.

    Thanks for getting back to me. My reply may sound lazy, but whoever made these styles should be able to better explain how to use it. It just seems one layer covers the other, and I don't want to guess at the settings.

    The icon I used to use to open new tabs has disappeared since the last Firefox update. I cannot find a menu, button, icon or anything to open a new tab anymore. How am I supposed to open a tab?

    Make sure that toolbars like the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible.

    You can drag an history item as well (e.g. from the history sidebar), so yuo do not need to bookmark a website.

    I love Safari, I think it's the smoothest experience on a Mac. However, not being able to open multiple tabs at once without overwriting my previous ones is a deal breaker. I know you can click the back button to restore previous tabs but then the new ones are gone.

    You should be able to open links in new tabs by holding the Command key (⌘) and clicking on the link. Check in Safari Preferences and looked and the Tab section to see if you have the right behavior enabled.

    You can open the Customize window and drag the New Tab (+) button form the tab bar on another toolbar. It will become a regular New Tab toolbar button.
    Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"

    Try setting the following to 3, not really sure if preference was actually removed or just won't accept 2, the intent was that the two variables be the same (I think)
