How to draw a circle with fill
This is probably the easiest question you'll get today, so enjoy!!!
I'm trying to create a simple circle with fill (yeah, I know. Easy). So I used the Ellipse Tool and set the fill to blue. (below). The problem is the fill doesn't fill all the way to the border and there is a gray border around it.
I really, really just want a nice blue circle...... is that too much to ask... ? (*sniff*)
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
That looks like your seeing the path of the ellipse.
If you go to the paths panel you can click below the path in the panel to hide the path.
What version of photoshop are you using?

Draw animated circle with brush tool in Flash
Hello all,
I need to make a circle with a brush tool so that it looks like a child draws it. If I make a dot with the brush tool on the first frame and a circle on the 15th frame and then create shape tween between those frames it looks stupid, like the circle grows itself.
Is there any possibility of making such a thing except for drawing it per frame?
Thanks
JuliaI'm just asking what is the method to draw a circle with a brush that you can see it animated - I mean the process of drawing. For now the only thing I know is to draw every small piece of it frame by frame but I suppose there is a better method.

How to draw a shape with line tool then fill with colour
How can i draw a shape with the line tool and then fill it with colour
Click and drag from one anchor point to the next, making sure that each new line segment begins where the last one ended. The Line Tool will snap onto the anchors.
Once you're done creating what looks like a closed path, the lines are still separate objects. To combine them into one path, select them all and press Ctrl/Cmd+J (for Join) or via the menu select Object > Path > Join.
The Pen Tool can be used in a similar manner, but each segment will be a continuation rather than a separate object. The last (closing) click will be indicated by a tiny circle on the mouse pointer.
If you make an open path, Ai will still "fill" it with a fill color by assuming a straight path between the last open anchor points. Individual straight paths, however, such as those drawn by the line tool, have no "inside", so they won't show the fill color even if you have assigned one.

How to create a circle with blocks in it? (with Illustrator)
Hey, first post here.
I just did some tutorials on the mesh tool in Illustrator and I wondered if I can create a similar effect I had in mind. A blocked circle would be awesome, but so far it can only do gradients and not solid blocks. To illustrate my point I have a picture from what I have now:
How do I create it so the black and white areas will be solid squares within the blue lines? Thanks!1 Draw a pattern of squares or use the Object Path Split into Grid feature
2 fill with a color if you wish
3 Draw a circle over it and select all the squares and the circle
4 and go to Object>Envelope Distort>Make with Top Object
Or make your patter of squares and turn that into a symbol and map it to a 3D Effect Sphere
if you need instructions bout making a 3D sphere use the help files or I or someone else will be back. -
How to create a circle with text that is transparent
I am trying to achieve this affect. I want a black circle with text in it but where ever I place the circle the text needs to be transparent and you see through it.
Any help would be much appreciated.
I am using Illustrator CC 2014
ThanksI am using CS5.1 but the technique is the same, hope the info below will be of help.
1. Create circle
2. Type word - then select Type from the top menu and select Create Outlines (for ease of selection I colour the type)
3. Select shape and text with the (black arrow) selection tool.
4. Top menu - Window - scroll down to Pathfinder
5. Select Divide - then select shape and text again and select the top menu Object and scroll down to Ungroup.
6. Then select the red parts of the text and delete or another way is to select a part of the text with colour go to top menu and go to Select scroll down to Same and select Fill Colour this will select all the same colour you will want to delete instead of clicking on each part separately and then delete.
Then save the file as a eps or Ai file etc

How to draw xy graph with multiple y axis input?
Hi,
I have problem in xy graph, the xy graph only can show 1 signal from the y axis input ( As you can see in the attachment )
Is it possible to draw xy graph with 2 Y input? Or maybe there are another type of graph that possible to do this?
Note: the x axis should be from an input too ( not versus time / sample ).
All answer and advice are welcomed.
Best regards,
Alvin Chandra

Example.vi 139 KBAre you asking for a second Y scale on the graph?
If so, right click on the existing scale, select "Duplicate Scale". This will create a second scale. You can then (if you wish), right click on the new scale a select "Swap Sides" to put it on the other side of the graph.
Are you asking about adding a second plot?
If so then you need to bundle your arrays of X and Y points into clusters and build those into an array:
The X-axis is always from an input on the XY Graph. You just need to change the axis title. Easiest way to do this is to double click on the axis title and type the new name.

How to draw an arc with width more than 1
Hi!
I got the following problem:
I need to draw an arc under JDK1.1.
It works fine, but I need to be able to adjust the
thickness. I didn't find anything in the graphics-
class.
Who knows?
ValentinI think you're just gunna have to draw multiple arcs with start/end points that are pixel increments away from each other. In Java2 you could use set the "stroke" with Java 2D, but that's not availale in 1.1.

How to draw the circle diagram of induction motor using labview
hi
i am trying to model the electrical machines using labview..
i want to know that is it possible to draw the circle diagram of induction motor using labview..........
if its possible then please suggest me the possible ways.
thanksThere may be better ways, but the method I used was to convert amplitude & angle to rectangular coords, then create an XY plot from (0,0) to those coords. (Or 1 plot for Voltage, 1 for Current, etc.) I would then just keep updating this plot and feeding it to the graph in a loop. The result was a slightly choppy looking but useable animation of the phase vectors.

How to draw a rectangle with rounded corners?
Hi,
I'm trying to draw a rectangle in a custom annotation and my appearance stream looks like:
1 1 98 98 re 0.5 w 1 j 0 0 0 RG S
The re-operator draws the rectangle an the j-operator along with the parameter 1 sets the join style to round.
It does make the corners very slightly rounded, but it's only visible when setting the zoom level 200% and beyond.
Do any of you know how to make the corners more rounded for the rectangle?I thought so
So Cubic Bézier curves all the way.
Could you help me with it? -
How to create a circle with the origin not at (0,0)
I want to create a circle but the origin is not at (0,0).
I have the following data;
- point coordinate (X1,Y1)
- radius of the circle
Also, I want to create a line between the origin and the point (X1,Y1).
Kindly show me how can I do this. Thank you very much. The accuracy of the GPS Receiver is +/- 0.5 meter. Its a Novatel product (Flex Pak). I am getting the string data from the GPS receiver. I took the Longtitude data as for my X and Latitude data for my Y. I took the Longtitude and Latitude data from the center of post for my reference calculation only to get the true value of X and Y at the end of the boom. I call the X and Y value at the end of the boom as dynamic because it always give me the value wherever the boom goes. Please see the attached sample VI's.
At one point , I actually measured, using a tape measure, the distance from the end of the boom to the center of post and i am getting the correct radius. But when I rotate the boom on the other side it will give me a different radius. And looking at this radius value, while rotating the boom, I can judge that my point of origin is not (0,0).
At this point I have no idea how to get the correct origin. Kindly teach me if you have idea on this.
Do you think the way I calculated for the true value of X and Y is still correct? Is my reference too far?
Thank you very much.

How to draw phasor diagram with multiple phasors
Hi labview forum,
I would like to plot say a vector of phasors on a phasor diagram, (similar to matlab's compass function).
In another question early last year, someone posed a begining of a solution here:
http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=169594&query.id=87161#M169594
Has anyone made any progress on this problem?
I have tried to build on the given VI but haven't succeeded. See attached.
The main issues are I don't understand the expected format of the input data and why I can't alter it.
Also, when you manually drag the diagram to resize it, the picture
contents remains the same size instead of resizing also. How can
the picture size be adjusted (manually or programatically)?
Regards,
Jamie

Phasor Sub 2.vi 39 KB
Phasor Diagram Example 2.vi 30 KBYou might be able to save some work resizing the image by using the Picture Control's built-in zoom functionality. Use an event structure case to keep track of when the Front Panel resizes. If it does and your picture control is set to resize with it, then you can zoom your picture control according to its new size ratio. Here's a simple and very incomplete example. Hope this helps!
