How to edit a copy of the masthead iView

Hi,
I downloaded a copy of the masthead iView (com.sap.portal.masthead) in NW studio and I want to change the .jsp files by swapping the logo and the welcome text (shoud go to the right instead of left).
This is very easy to change in the JSP file, but somehow my NW studio doesn't allow me to make changes to the file.
How can I edit the import (from par) project?

Hi Daniel
Did you download the com.sap.portal.masthead.par.bak file from this location.
System Administration >Support>Portal Runtime-->Browse deployment >WEB-INF>deployment>temp>com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.par.bak
Import this file into NDS and it is advisable to change the sap to your company.

Hi Niranjan,
Since it has been in O4F1 in TD, you could do the following:-
1. Go to O4F2.
2. Delete Reservation.
3. Go to MB22 --> Change Reservation Qty.
4. Go to O4F2 --> Reassign Reservation to TD shipment (click on "R")
Give the above a try.

Collapse the Masthead iview - recalculation innerpage frame

Dear all
we implemented an coding to collapse the Masthead iview by clicking a icon in the page toolbar iview. The remove of the masthead iview works as expected.
Now , the innerpage will be enlarged, but a recalculation of the frame on the bottom seems to be needed. The bottom half of an report will be cut off. We tried to adapt the height setting of the iview and the inneriview (FIX, Fullpage, automatic). Unfortunately, without successes.
Can someone provide an suitable how to guide or only the java script function?

I dont know why you miss the toolarea iview. But to bring it back, you can upload com.sap.portal.navigation.toolarea.par which is found under
\usr\sap\<SID>\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\portal\portalapps\com.sap.portal.navigation.toolarea\private\lib.
You can upload from sap ide and create a iview out of it and finally add it to the default framework page. This should work fine.

(1)It is possible to do so if I open the document in Acrobat 8.
(2) Is there any work around solution for X-pro ?
I create a draft document and send it for approval with “draft” watermark.
I receive it back after approval with the approver’s signature.
Then I have to remove the “draft” watermark.
How can I do it?

Can you guide me on how to edit data in PSA and then continue a load?
i.e. if you can provide me with the steps on how to fix a load problem if a load fails. The load fails and Monitor shows red, so how do I fix them in the PSA and then allow the load continue with the corrected data into the data target.

First select that request then turn to Red and delete the Request , delete the qeruest then system allow to edit the psa data ,selete psa then selet packet then selet record double click modify the data, dont forget after completing save the data. after competing modification then select psa right click select- start update immediatly......

How to update a copy of the Standard Hierarchy

We created a copy of the Standard Hierarchy for 0CUST_SALES in BW. How can we update this copy from the Standard Hierarchy LKDH? We just realized the copy was not being updated on a regular basis like the Standard Hierarchy. We already have reports using this copy and we want to update the copy so we don't have to change these reports.
Can someone tell me how to do this?

Can you tell me how to do this? When I create an infopackage on the datasource 0CUST_SALES_LKDH_HIER, the only hierarchy listed on the Hierarchy Selection tab is the Standard Hierarchy. What do I need to do to get the hierarchy that I created as a copy of the Standard Hierarchy is also listed on the Hierarchy Selection tab?

EU Role contains Portal Personalization (workset). See below.

What you can do is to assign this EU Role to one of the existing Groups/Roles that you have created as a standard for ALL your Portal users. Once you have assign the EU Role to this standard "End User"role you have created, all your Portal users will see the option for personalize on the top right of Portal.

How to make a copy of the IMAP Sent messages when the Sent folder file can not be found?

My Thunderbird works fine. I can also see messages sent in the Sent folder but I wonder are the sent messages only saved in the IMAP server. For the backup purposes I would like to copy the file of the Sent folder but I can not find a local file for it.
In /home/me/.thunderbird/44g5fxvp.default/ImapMail/mail.[mymail].fi I do have files

That is because they are not stored on your computer they are stored on the server. The Sent.msf file is just an indexing file and does not store emails.
re INBOX, INBOX.msf, inbox_old, inbox_old.msf
These subscribed folders have been synchronised to get a local copy onto your computer in your Thunderbird profile folder.
You need to do the same with the 'Sent folder.

then go into 'offline' mode to stop further synchronising.
Then you can right click on selected emails and save as .eml files in a folder external to Thunderbird.
You can also copy or move emails into a suitable folder in Local Folders. These folders keep emails on your computer, they are not modified by the server, they do not synchronise with any IMAP mail account.

you can simply use the Theme Editor for that. Just go to System Administration -> Portal Display -> Theme Editor.
In your own Theme, section Portal Masthead, you will find "URL to Branding Image".

Hi Sanjay,
-The three main files in the masthead are HeaderiView.jsp,LogInRedirect.jsp and LogOffConfirmMsg.jsp
-The HeaderiView contains the masthead users see when they are in the portal.
-Once you added your link to the HeaderiView.jsp,upload the par file.
-Once the par file is uploaded to the portal,you need to create a masthead iview based on this par file.
-Then this iView will be used for masthead on the framework page.
-create a folder in portal catalog-right click the folder->create a iView from par->select your own masthead iView->choose next->choose default component and click next->Enter the properties like-iView name,iView ID,prefix,Save as -iView and click next>save.
Here is the important step :
Add the iView to the framework page,then only it will be visible to the end users.
Browse the ramework page being used by the portal in the portal catalog
Right click on he page->edit->Page Layout->Select masthead iView on the framework page and click remove.
now iViews(Right click)->Widgets_masthead->Add iView to page->Delta Link->Position the masthead.->Logoff and logon to the portal.
It should work fine for you now I guess.

How to edit symbol without dimming the rest?

I can't figure out if this is possible and how to do it on the same window. Illustrator is not very good with the display options and real time updating changes on a new window.

I guess I didn't explain better what I want. I whish I can edit a symbol in context and see real time update on all of its instances.
I also don't mind editing the symbol in it own window if I can see real time update on the artwork in another window. So far trying this with creating a new window of the artwork doesn't appear to work that way.
