How to edit custom and/or user dictionaries in OPPM v.9 (NOT P6)

Thanx, Sachim for your help on my earlier question.
Now that I have poked around a little more, I realized that I haven't seen anything about how to EDIT the dictionary files once created. The "organizational custom dictionary" text file could just be edited with any text editor, but what about the other available OPPM dictionaries?
I've also noticed that if a User adds a word, it goes into his/her personal dictionary. That means that its not available to other Users. How does one clean them up of accidentally (or unintentionally) added mis-spelled words? Every other application I've ever used with a spell checker has that function somewhere, but I can't see it in OPPM. It would be great to be able, as an Administrator, to be able to "harvest" those added words, to share with the other users.
Anyone have any info on these issues? Thanx in advance.

if you are using 12.1.3/4 then you can do using "Define Parameter" screen to create LOV and attach to integrator.

Hello Friends,
I have a requirement to check customer and then update them.
I have a customer numbers in my internal table iIT_KUNNR.
I want to check how many customers are from the IT_KUNNR are in the KNA1 and how many are not in kna1.
if some of them are in kna1 then check for how many of them are in KNVV table.
If some of them are in already in KNVV then UPDATE those else INSERT remaining to KNVV.
So, Is there any function modules for these check and get records?

How to get customer and vendor street addresses 4 and 5?

I need to know what table/field has the customer and vendor street addresses 4 and 5 stored in to them and how to access these fields.
This is for mapping on a LSMW customer and vendor data conversion.

Such fields do belong to address management tables. eg:ADRC-NAME3, ADRC-NAME4...
In other words they do not belong to customer master data so they are not reachable directly from customer master data fields.
The link is KNA1-ADRNR = ADRC-ADDRNUMBER
You might face difficulties in the mapping except if you plan to process in LSMW both DEBMAS idocs AND ADRMAS idocs

How to edit customizing view in production system?

I wonder if it is possible to edit customizing view (ex: tcode OAV8) directly in production system. I need a method that doesn't require repair.

You can copy view V_T087G to ZV_T087G. After you have to create a new table maintenance for this view. The new table mainteance will have a Z function module so you can select in the "Dialog Data Transport Details" the flag "no user recording routine" instead of "Standard, recording routine".
After you have to call this table maintenance from Sm30 or from a transaction.

How to edit PSA and continue the load with corrected data from PSA.

Hi,
Can you guide me on how to edit data in PSA and then continue a load?
i.e. if you can provide me with the steps on how to fix a load problem if a load fails. The load fails and Monitor shows red, so how do I fix them in the PSA and then allow the load continue with the corrected data into the data target.

First select that request then turn to Red and delete the Request , delete the qeruest then system allow to edit the psa data ,selete psa then selet packet then selet record double click modify the data, dont forget after completing save the data. after competing modification then select psa right click select- start update immediatly......

Why can I see some photos in iphoto just fine, but then I will drag something in, edit it, and when I go back later it is not in photos or events. If I search my computer, I can find it, but it doesn't show up in iphoto. Yet other photos show up fine!

I am completely confused by this. Should all photos loaded into iphoto show up? What makes some different from others? Does it matter if they are on the desktop first, straight off the camera, or sent to me via email?? Why should they be different in any way? I just worked on 2 differnt photos - one was sent to me via email, placed on the desktop and dragged into iphoto. It shows up as an event. The other was sent via email, saved directly from the email to iphoto - I went in and edited it and now it is nowhere to be found. Help!!!!

What "other system" are you using to search? And, when you find the Photo, where is it?
Storing files in folders is not using a Photo program at all, it's just using the file manager for the job. You can do this on your Mac just as easily as on your Windows box, with the same advantages (it's easy to understand) and limitations (it's inflexible, limited and treats your photos the same way as it treats your text files.)
iPhoto is a different kind of program alright, and once you finish the learning curve - and for most folks, that's not very long - you may see some additional advantages over storing files in folders. Maybe you won't. It's not for evertbody, but frankly, "if all your friends" can "never find any photos they are looking for" when iphoto offers far more ways to manage, arrange, categorise and seach for your photos than the file manager does, then perhaps you need to look closely at your friends
Seriously: I post this for folks who are getting to know iPhoto for the first time. It's just one way of using the app, but it does demonstrate what I mean by being more flexible than the file manager:
I use Events simply as big buckets of Photos: Spring 08, July - Nov 06 are typical Events in my Library. I use keywords and Smart Albums exensively. I title the pics broadly.

Where basis (The When is in the photos's Exif metadata). I also rate the pics on a 1 - 5 star basis.
Using this system I can find pretty much find any pic in my 39+k library in a couple of seconds.
So, for example, I have a batch of pics titled 'Seattle 08' and a typical keywording might include: John, Anne, Landscape, mountain, trees, snow. With a rating included it's so very easy to find the best pics we took at Mount Rainier.
File -> New Smart Album
set it to 'All"
title contains Seattle
keyword is mountain
keyword is snow
rating is 5 stars
Or, want a chronological album of John from birth to today?
New Smart Album
Keyword is John
Set the View options to Sort By Date Ascending
Want only the best pics?
add Rating is greater than 4 stars
The best thing about this system is that it's dynamic. If I add 50 more pics of John to the Library tomorrow, as I keyword and rate them they are added to the Smart Album.
In the end, organisation is about finding the pics. The point is to make locating that pic or batch of pics findable fast. This system works for me.

You can find the user types assigned to the users in SU01 under the 'LicenceData' tab - Contractual user type. Depending upon the level of authorization, the user types will be assigned to the users and charged($) accordingly by SAP.

What is the recommended way to authenticate external users as well as internal employees in a customer facing application?
We have external users in an Active Directory in the DMZ and our employees in our internal DMZ. Unfortunately we don't have an identity management system in place and wondering if there is a way we could authenticate user against two active directories without creating a trust between them.

You can also use user partitioning. A feature of the UME which allows for having different user persistence options for different users. What you could do in this case have the external user stored in the local db or an LDAP for the external users and the internal users stored in an internal LDAP directory. How to edit HDV and HD 24F together?

Please help! I just did a 2-camera shoot, on Canon HV 40s. The problem is that my partner and I were in two different recording modes: HDV and HD 24f.
I am new to HD, and really don't know much about it. What is the difference between the two modes, and will it affect the look of my project when I edit footage together from the two modes?

I'd suggest using Streamclip to converty the 24F footage to the specs of the HDV camera footage.
I'm not a Canon user but I think 24F is 24 progressive.
FCE does not work directly with 24 fps.

How to edit width and spacing of bars in Numbers?

I have a graph with 4 bars, each in a different series/set so I could edit the standard deviations separately, but they're spaced far apart and the bars are really narrow. I put the gaps between columns and sets at 0% and that didn't do much. Any way to manually widen the bars and/or move them closer together?

When I have each of the values in the same series and go to use Custom Error Values, I am only able to set one standard deviation for all of the bars, instead of one for each. That gave me this:

This issue is something I've searched extensively, and I think the lack of customization ability might just be an error in the program itself and might not be something they offer (but should).
