How to edit IE8 security certificate?

Can anyone tell me how to add additional secondary DNS servers to an internet explorer 8 security certificate? I have a friend who is still running Windows XP and IE8, and wants to access gmail. Google has revoked security certificates for IE8 and
left a message that IE8 is basically so old that it is no longer compatible. However, it seems to work fine, just with security certificate violation warnings coming up all the time.
So, I followed instructions to put my own security certificate in place, and have run into a problem that the certificate is for mail.google.com, but what shows up in the naviagation bar is gmail.com - there is a redirect going on at google.
There appears to be a place on the security certificate to put in secondary DNS's, and it already has some such as inbox.google.com, and so on. But I cannot see how to add in "gmail.com" There's an "edit" button on the certificate
details, but it is greyed out. Can anyone tell me how to do edits on the security certificate?

try taking google out of the IE Trusted sites list and uninstalling/updating the google toolbar.

I deleted several certificates before I decided it was a bad idea - too late ... many of my frequently visited sites won't validate at all or, will come up in plain text vs. html. Those sites still work in Explorer so, logic says I could import trusted certificates.

You need to export the certificates in IE and import them in the Firefox Certificate Manager.
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Certificates: View Certificates

Loading a security certificate for OWA mail using Palmcertificates

Need to load a security certificate from my employer to utilize my outlook mail. After using "PalmCertificates" the program looks for the Palmquickinstall. Since I have the desktop with the install tool, the certificate program does not recognize this and gives me an error "Can't find Quickinstall"... How can we install security certificates onto a Centro (sprint network)...

Answer: Default SSL is secure end encrypted but is not being validated, therefore safe to ignore. You can purchase and import other SSL certificates.

Are you downloading iTunes form an Apple website or somewhere else? If the answer is somewhere else, try downloading it from Apple. Click on iTunes in the black menu bar above and go from there.

After upgrading to Firefox 10.0.2 there is no way to proceed to a website with an invalid security certificate. How do you proceed to these websites in the new release? The fault page only has a button that says "Try again."

How can I display content blocked by an invalid security certificate?

I am using Firefox 30.0 which I installed to replace IE8. I log in to my health insurance site. When I try to go to the Provider Directory Search (PDS), nothing happens. I thought the PDS might be a pop-up so I tried both making the web page a pop-up exception and then also just turning the pop up blocker off completely. Neither helped.
I then tried to access the same PDS page via IE8 and IE8 displayed a “Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate” error page. Also, IE8 displayed a bar with options that allowed me to display blocked content regardless of the status of the security certificate. The PDS page then displayed.
I went back to FF30 and tried again. The PDS page did not display and no error message nor options bar was displayed. Next, I tried finding an option related to this problem. Options/Security had nothing for Security Certificates. Options/Advanced/Security seemed to deal with security certificates my copy of FF30 would provide to web sites and not the web sites certificates provided to me. I tried clicking on the “lock” icon of the page from which I should be transferred to the PDS page. The security certificate information displays but I could not see any option that would help me and this is the security certificate from the previous page anyway and not the PDS page that is being blocked.
If I could just get a Security Certificate error to display, I was hoping I would then be given the option of displaying the blocked content anyway. Without even an FF30 error condition being displayed (as does IE8), I am unable to proceed.

Basically my Ipad2 stopped allowing me to go to sites such as Tumblr a little while ago. It wouldn't display the page properly because of 'security certificate' issues. This in itself would not have been such a problem, but when I went to the App store to try and download the Tumblr App, a pop up appeared asking me to answer some security questions before I could successfully install the App. However, the pop up would not display correctly because of 'security certificate' issues and as a result I can't download any apps from the App Store. If the document is important, and there is something to be gained by modifying it - then someone will just make a new copy of it (e.g. print and scan, screen capture), and make a new document, then change it.
If protecting the integrity of the document - proving it is unchanged - is the thing, look at digital signatures. Forget security, the signed file can be freely edited, but the signature will always show it is changed.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Alas, I have tried restarting Firefox but can find no "Safe Mode" in the menu at the top of the screen. My Firefox is old, having come out of Noah's Ark all of 4 years ago, an eternity for the weirdos that design these things. (Version 13 something). So the problem is still there. Not that it means much, as all I have to do is click on each of the four or five irritating messages that pop up each time I start the bloody thing. And anyway, as Firefox has decided to stop "supporting" my version, I'll soon have to find a navigator that I can still use. Or buy a new Macintosh, which I'm certainly not prepared to do; planned obsolescence has its limits.

There are so many things wrong with this VI, I'm not even sure where to start.
Hard-coding paths that point to your user folder on the block diagram. What if somebody else tries to run it? They'll get an error. What if somebody tries to run this on Windows 7? They'll get an error. What if somebody tries to run this on a Mac or Linux? They'll get an error.

Cannot insert values into an empty array.
What if there's a line missing from the text file? Now your data will not line up. Your case structure does handle this.
