How to edit Market Price from FTR_EDIT

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to edit the market price from FTR_EDIT -> Edit -> Market price ? I have 2 transactions created with same sec class ID, why one transaction can change market price from Edit option but the other transaction the Market price option is 'grey off' and not able to edit ?
Where is the control of the market price caused the field 'grey-off'' in FTR_EDIT ?

The system is decativating several functions in processing mode edit when the deal data is fixed. One typical reason that deal data is fixed is that there are postings, so I guess in you example one security position is fixed the other not.

You can get the source for an object from SQL*Plus by querying the user_source table, i.e.

How to edit files directly from server?

I'm new to dreamweaver (CS5) and I'm really lost when it comes to editing files directly in remote servers.
When you add a new site, you have to select a Local Site Folder. I dont mind that html editor saves auto backups to my computer, but I really dont want to download files from the server, edit them and upload them back to the server. In my work I always edit files directly over SFTP servers.
After spending time configuring DW, I can now connect to the remote server, edit a file and save it to the server (I know that really the files are automatically downloaded to my pc and sent back when saved). The only problem with this is that everytime I open a file from server, I get this annoying prompt "Do you wish to overwrite your local copy of [FILE]?"
How can I disable this for good, or is the dreamweaver just not the right tool to edit files directly from servers?

Again, if you are doing it the easy way, you don't download files from the server to edit them.
Always edit local files. Then upload them.
When you open Dreamweaver, your Files panel should be showing Local View, NOT Remote View. That way you are working with local files.
The way you're doing it here's what happens:
1. You doubleclick a file in the Files panel (Remote View)
2. Dreamweaver connects to your server and MUST download the file and related content (because the software IS NOT installed on the server and you CANNOT edit there)
3. When the file is downloaded, Dreamweaver asks if you wish to overwrite the local file because when you save it before putting the file back, your OS will not allow two files of the same name in the same location and the file MUST be saved before you can put it back.
4. You then put the file to the server, overwriting the original file.
All of that can be avoided by simply opening THE LOCAL FILE and editing it. Then you put it to the server, and overwrite the original with the edited file.
"What if someone else modifies a file on the server after I saved it, when I open and edit a local file, wont I just replace it when I upload it?"
If multiple people have access to the same files on the server, you NEED to have collaboration software so that when a change is made it can be saved by EVERYONE who has access to the site. Something like LiveCycle.
Without that your site will be a mess in no time because six different people (or more) will have six different copies of six different sites locally and they will all be working on it at the same time and it will end up like a Three Stooges movie where Larry, Curly and Moe are all cooking dinner and each adds the same ingredients at different times.

How to extract MM prices from R3

The Key figure was not populated and we might have to re-load the PO cube.
As the key figure is a price dependent field, it is very hugh to bring all the item pricing into BI server.
I was wondering if it could perform some form of BAPI or RFC to request for the MM prices of a certain day and passed the price from r3 back to BI while the loading is taking place.
Loading is from PSA.
Is there a function for it?
can it be called while loading in the transfer/update rule?

How to edit a track from 60mins to 10mins?

I have a 60min track that I only listen to 10mins out of it.
How do I edit out that part and resave that as a separate file? Thanks.

If you don't want the other 50 minutes, just split the region at the 10 minute point, select the 50 minute region, and hit delete, and it'll be gone. If you ever want it back, just drag the 10 minute region from the middle left to the left and it'll come back. Read in the manual about working with audio regions. It should all be explained there.

How to edit a movie from an .img file

Hi all!
I've got a movie in .img format. What I'd like to do is cut off ten seconds of the movie, but I don't know how to do it.
I've tried opening the file in Quicktime Pro (wouldn't open), iMovie (wouldn't open) VLC (opened just fine but couldn't edit it) and Ffmpeg (format not recognized) - so, no luck sofar.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Any suggestion would be appreciated!

If you want to create a new DVD formatted movie, convert to DV, then use iDVD to create a new DVD.

How to edit a file from Organizer and return it to Organizer?

In PSE5, in Organizer, I want to fix a photo. I right-click it and "go to quick fix" or"go to full edit". Editor opens up, I edit the photo, and want to return to Organizer. How to do that? If I try to save, I have to go through several dialogs, including warning that I'm about to replace an existing file, and default option to save a version; which all looks like I'm creating another instance of the file. Or, if I want to fix multiple files, I select them all in Organizer and go to quick fix; once I have finished, I don't see how I can commit all changes back to Organizer (which is showing "edit in progress" on them meanwhile) - I have to save each individual file, going every time through those several dialogs. Am I missing something obvious?

Not missing anything, that's how it works. If you want to replace the
file, go ahead, but most people keep a separate version, so you have
your original, and then the one they changed. That way, if you don't
like what you did, you can always go back to the original. You should
get something like: IMG_001.jpg (let's say that's your original file),
and then IMG_001-edited-1.jpg as the next one in the version set. This
is how Elements works. Most editing does change pixels, so you actually
have a new file. (I know that some editors/organizers do support
non-destructive editing, but you are very limited in what things you can
do.)

How to edit source sequence from 'multicam mode' sequence (not bearing multicam icon)?

I'm 'multicam editing' what i believe I setup as a regular sequence, then enabled (i believe by nesting) as opposed to a textbook multicam sequence setup with multicam icon where you setup a 'source' then a 'target' prior to starting. my 'multicam' sequence that works like a charm does not bear the multicam icon. Is there a difference between the two or are they essentially the same?
I was able to switch cameras on the fly like a charm so i 'multicam' edited an entire show when I realized I had 1 minor audio-to-picture beat-mismatch to correct in the source.
I read that to fix this, press Ctrl+Shift+F where you want to open the source sequence in the Timeline panel (and this did open expanded tracks as expected near that designated point in the timeline) so i made the quick edit and saved changes. But now playing back my multicam sequence (that does not have a multicam icon), I'm not sure what i must do to see those changes so i can continue/finish my show edit? it isn't automatically doing this as i would expect.
i'm forced to wonder what's going on, what 'source' I actually edited, and how or if it is connected to my multicam sequence if at all. my icons seem reversed to me i.e. the sequence with expanded independent a/v tracks bears the 'multicam' icon whereas the sequence I actually did the multicam switching on the fly does not bear the 'multicam icon' or the audio-picture realignment edit I made in the expanded tracks.
if these two are related, why do edits in the expanded sequence not reflect in the collapsed. is there any other way to reveal/expand the multicam sequence? so confused.

How to edit original raw from LR?

Sometimes in my workflow id like to take the original raw, edit it in photoshop cs3 acr instead of LR, but save the resulting image as a stacked image under the original in LR.
Why cant I just do 'edit original' as a RAW in LR? What would be the best way to do this?

Market price in vendor evalution.

Can you pls tell me how to maintain market price in system,is there any Tcode available in Sap.
System calculate market price by taking average of all vendor in vendor evaluation.
Can any body help me out I need to enter market price is equal to the lowest rate having among the vendor. And system will pick that price and will calculate the variance %=(effective price-market price)/market price * 100.
So for I determined the score of each vendor llike
0 %= 100
10%= 95
20%= 80
so on
99.9% =0

You are not going to maintain the market price in vendor evluation but you have to maintained in the tcode MEKH. before this you have to assign the market price to you rpurhcaisng organization
the std market price schema is already created by SAP so if you dont want to add anymore conditon than you can use the std one.
now you have to go in the config for MM-Purchasing-Condtion-define price dtermination process - define schema determination
here you have to assign the market pricing to your Purchasing org than you can maintain the price in MEKH
so once you do above than you can run vendor evaluatio and it will compare with market price.
this is all optional
it is only for comarison

The market price is entered in the transaction MEKH.
About the Price level:
This score is computed with the information between inforecords and Market Price.
This compare is making for each material that a vendor has provided.
This information is not contained in table S013 and is only calculated during an evaluation and saved in the table ELBP.
Inforecords are per vendor X material tables EINA and EINE, field NETPR.
Market Prices are per Material X Material Group.
