How to join two or more qucktime movies?

or as i know, video converters can do this job well. if you want, you can try this video converter mac .

You can't download directly to an iPad.
You have to download on a PC and sync through iTunes.
They have to comply with these specs:

  • How to edit Captivate movie

I have a Captivate movie that consists of only 1 slide and an animated movie. I don't see any way to edit the movie or export it in a format that can be edited. I need to take several seconds off the front and back of this movie.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello,
What do you mean by 'an animated movie'? Is this an imported Flash-animation, is it a Full Motion Recording done in Captivate? If it is a FMR you can trim it in Captivate. How depends on the version of Cp you are using. If it is CP5, select the slide with the FMR (is visible on the timeline as a red horizontal bar) and you will see the FMR edit accordion. If it is an animation created in another app, you will have to trim it there.

  • How to convert MP4 movie to dvd burn ready disc image?

I have a 15 minute MP4 movie (640x480, non-copy protected) that I'd like to save as a dvd burn-ready disc image. (This was a photo slideshow that a friend made into a movie on OneTrue Media. I don't want to add anything else to it, no chapters, additional files etc -- just save as a disc image that can be posted on my idisk public site for a few friends to download and burn to dvd if they wish). How can I do this the easiest way with iDVD?

    Welcome to the forums.
You're almost there. Pull the video into iDVD (mp4 isn't the best format for DVD conversion but it should work) and use the Save As Disc Image command to create your image file (set preferences to Best Performance first).

  • How to edit a movie from an .img file

    Hi all!
I've got a movie in .img format. What I'd like to do is cut off ten seconds of the movie, but I don't know how to do it.
I've tried opening the file in Quicktime Pro (wouldn't open), iMovie (wouldn't open) VLC (opened just fine but couldn't edit it) and Ffmpeg (format not recognized) - so, no luck sofar.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
    Any suggestion would be appreciated!
    Lianne

If the .img file is a DVD movie, MPEG Streamclip
    <http://www.squared5.com>
can be used to select the movie (minus the ten seconds) and convert to another movie format. You will need the QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback Component
    <http://www.apple.com/quicktime/mpeg2/>
If you want to create a new DVD formatted movie, convert to DV, then use iDVD to create a new DVD.

  • How to edit movie clip in fla library?

I'm attempting to edit some fla files that have embedded
movie clips. I can't figure out how to edit the movie clip files in
the library. I tried exporting the file to SWC file but can't edit
    that.
Can anyone tell me how this is done? Do I need seperate
source fla files that maybe I don't have for the movie clip files?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Thanks for your reply. That's what I would normally do but I
think the original programmers of this site did every thing they
possibly could to make it difficult for a non-expert to edit. I've
edited many flash sites but this one is ridiculous.
I just can't find all the images that make up the movie clip
to edit. I've looked through every layer and double clicked on
everything. I've ran out of ideas.
If anyone wants a challenge I'd be happy to send you the .fla
file just to see what I'm talking about. You can't edit
    anything.

  • How to edit JVC/Panasonic/Canon .mod video in Windows Movie Maker then upload to YouTube for sharing

    Quick View:
Part 1: How to import .mod video to Windows Movie Maker
Part 2: How to edit the video with Windows Movie Maker
Part 3: How to upload your video to YouTube
    Know More:
    1. Which Camcorders record video in .MOD type?
    2. What file types are supported by Windows Movie Maker?
    3. What file types are supported by YouTube?
Part 1: How to import .mod video to Windows Movie Maker
    Step 1: Load files
First copy the MOD file from your video camera to your hard drive, then download, install and run MOD Converter, click the "Add Files" button to browse your computer hard disc and load the MOD/TOD video files you want to convert to the program.
    Step 2: Output Setting
In the bottom of the main interface, select an output format supported by Windows Movie Maker for each video file and specify a directory on your computer to save the output files.
    Step 3: Start convert
Click "Start" button on right bottom of the main interface, you are allowed to start conversion.
Step 4: Import converted video to Windows Movie Maker
Click on "File". Then click on "Import". A window will appear. In the window, navigate to the video clip you converted just now. Then double click on the file. You'll see the icon for the file in your Windows Movie Maker "Collections".
Part 2: How to edit the video with Windows Movie Maker
Step 1: Add transitions and special effects
In the Movie Tasks pane, under Edit Movie, click View video transitions.
Preview transitions by double-clicking them and watching the Preview Monitor. Once you've found a transition you like, drag it from the Video Transitions pane, under Edit Movie pane to the box between two of your clips. This inserts the transition between the two clips.
Step 2: Add titles and credits
If you want to add a title before, after, or on top of a clip, click the clip on the storyboard or timeline.
In the Movie Tasks pane, under Edit Movie, click Make titles or credits.
    Step 3: Add Music
In the Movie Tasks pane in Movie Maker, under Capture Video, click Import audio or music.
In the Import File dialog box, click the name of the song you want to use in the background. Then click Import. This adds your song to your collection but does not add it to your video. Drag the song from the collection to the video clip where you want the music to start playing.
    Step 4: Add narration
If you have a desktop computer, connect a microphone. Microphones are available from most electronics stores. If you have a portable computer, you can use the built-in microphone. However, you will get a better-quality recording if you connect an external microphone. In Movie Maker, click the Tools menu, and then click Narrate Timeline. On the timeline, click the clip you want to narrate. You can narrate clips one at a time, or you can narrate the entire movie all at once. If you narrate individual clips, you can rearrange them later and keep your narration synchronized. If the narration is too loud or too soft in comparison to the movie, right-click the narration on your timeline, and then click Volume.
Step 5: To save your movie to your computer
In the Movie Tasks pane, under Finish Movie, click Save to my computer.
The Save Movie Wizard appears. On the Save Movie File page, type a name for your movie. You can also choose a folder to save it in by clicking the Browse button, but My Videos (the default) is usually the best place to save your movie. Then click Next. On the Movie Setting page, click Next to accept the default setting of Best quality for playback on my computer.
Movie Maker saves your movie, which might take several minutes. On the Completing the Save Movie Wizard page, click Finish. If Play movie when I click Finish was selected (it is selected by default), the movie will automatically play in Windows Media Player. Now you can watch your videos anytime by opening your My Videos folder and double-clicking your movie.
Part 3: How to upload my video to YouTube
A video file should meet the following requirements so that it can be uploaded to YouTube site.
    1. In an acceptable format: WMV, MPEG4, MOV, AVI and MPEG.
    2. Video length is shorter 10 minutes.
    3. File size is smaller than 1GB.
Step 1: Sign up a YouTube account or Gmail account, then click the Upload button on any YouTube web page. See the figure below:
Step 2: Type in the information of your video file, including Title, Description, Category and tags. To increase the chances that your video can be easily found, you should put as much information as possible.
Step 3: Set this video to be public or private.
Step 4: Click the "Upload a video" button. When you see the next window, click the "Browse" button to select the video file you want to upload. Then click the "Upload Video" button to upload it. After the upload is finished, you will see the completion page. See the figure below:
Step 5: Click "My Videos" and you will see the video.
    Know More:
    1. Which Camcorders record video in .MOD type?
MOD is the video file type used on many digital camcorders, such as the JVC Everio, the Canon FS100 and the Panasonic D-Snap SD-card camcorders. Accompanying the MOD video file, there exists MOI file that stands for the index file for MOD.
    2. What file types are supported by Windows Movie Maker?

  • How do I edit a .mov file in iMovie '09 without losing quality?

    Hi!
Can anyone tell me how to edit .mov files in iMovie '09 without losing quality?
I have perfectly fine looking screen capture video from iShowU. It's 1024x768, 30 fps, Animation compression codec. It's a .mov file that looks great played in the QuickTime player. I can't even tell it's a movie -- it just looks like the screen I captured.
Now, I bring it into iMovie '09, trim the ends, and Export to QuickTime using no compression and the same fps and size. The output quality is noticeably lower than the input quality, which makes no sense to me because I'm telling the export not to compress (and my Preferences are set to "Import HD video as Full-Original Size".
I just want to trim the ends off a video -- maybe combine a couple files -- but without wrecking the quality of the originals. That really doesn't sound like it should be all that hard, but so far, it's been impossible.
    Any pointers are greatly appreciated!!
    -- gnagent

I've found the answer. On the File/Import/Movies... dialog, uncheck "Optimize Video" even if you have "Full - Original Size" selected. You don't want any optimizations done, even at original size. Then make sure you are exporting at precisely the same size as the original file, which means that under the Export to Quicktime/Options/Video Size dialog you do NOT want to check "Preserve aspect ratio using:" Just use "Custom" size and set your size to exactly what "Get Info" tells you when you view the file in the Finder.
Make sure that Video/Settings is set to Compression Type: None, and that you have the Frame Rate exactly what your original was.
    Hope this helps someone.

  • How to join two MP4 movies with iMovie '11?

Just after a quick bit of help here.  I'm not a movie making enthusiast so never used iMovie before and never will again most likely.  However I do have 2 mp4 movies about 4 minutes each that I SIMPLY want to join together.
I've searched and seen reference to dragging the fils into a project then just export as one but for the life of me if import the files I can't seem to find anywhere that provides a view of the two files as thumbnails so I can just drag them to say this one first, this one second.  Join please.  I seem to get streams and streams of individual frames with sliding lines and what not and the best I seem to be able to get is about 4 seconds at a time.  Surely ther MUST be an easy way to just join two movies together without going into advanced frame by frame editing.
It's not the most intuitive piece of software and I don't have any desire to learn it.  Problem is I am in a **** of rush with this and at the end of a 14 hour image managament day which is making me less than patient with iMovie.

QuickTime X can join your two files. Edit menu "Add Clip to End..."

  • How to edit move rename files in iTunes

how to edit move rename files in itunes

    I don't like iTunes.
I don't want iTunes to keep the physical location of my files because they can be on a SD card, or an USB drive and i don't want iTunes to stop me from playing a song because it cannot find it anymore.
So i would like to use physical files just to upload to iTunes Match and then delete the link to the physical file.
If needed, iTunes Match will download the file.
The problem is just that i would like to delete all references to physical files to make iTunes Match download the file only when needed and stop using the first version i had given to it
maybe i could have a Apple Script to check if there is a physical file referenced and if so delete it to have only the Cloud version

  • How do I edit a movie in less than 10 sec blocks?????

The title says it all. No instructions. No help. No, nothing.
I've found a way to edit a movie but I can't even do it by 1 sec!! WHAT A JOKE. Even my relatively cheap camera can do this simple task by the second, (unfortunately, the video I want to edit is from a different camera and in a different format).
HHEEELLLLPPPPP please because Apple Mac certainly doesn't want to.
I'm using iMovie 11 V9.4.0 and iOS 10.6.8. Also, am having to use a crap program called Toast to fix this problem.
What a F joke. I was lead to believe Apple was better than this.

    macpomaus -
I assumed you came here looking for help. I didn't assume that you were looking for others to perform tasks for you. Typically, that kind of activity is compensated in some real-world currency. Around here, we are just peers trying to help each other. It is generally not considered a sign of laziness to provide a searcher with the source materials. Providing a link ensures that when the source information is updated, the information contained in a post does not drift away from the source.
You seem to be lacking the most basic of interpersonal skills. Hiding four-letter words behind abbreviations is really unnecessary and does nothing to ease their foul nature. I would ask that you find a vocabulary that would suit the occasion. Thank you.
Re: "...how do you get to see what you've show me in Help"
I'm afraid I am at a loss to provide you with additional details without more information from you. Are you not able to see the page to which I provided a link?
Re: "...Trim, split and move clips"
From the page to which I provided a link:
Extend or shorten a clip in the timeline
In the timeline, skim to the beginning or end of the clip you want to extend or shorten.
              Do one of the following:
To extend the clip: Drag the edge of the clip left or right, away from its center.
To extend a clip, there must be unused portions of the clip available.
To shorten the clip: Drag the edge of the clip left or right, toward its center.
              Use the clip trimmer
You can use the clip trimmer to add more frames to a clip, or remove unwanted frames from a clip. Using the clip trimmer, you can see how much of your clip is being used, as well as how much is unused.
In the timeline, select the clip you want to trim.
Choose Window > Show Clip Trimmer.
The clip trimmer appears over the timeline.
If that doesn't point you in the right direction, try Linux.....or an Etch-A-Sketch (http://www.amazon.com/Ohio-Art-Classic-Sketch-Screen/dp/B00000J0HG/ref=sr_1_1?ie =UTF8&qid=1425652015&sr=8-1&keywords=etch-a-sketch).
