I am new to iPad. How do you undo edits on Adobe reader??
There's no back arrow or undo button.

Maybe I figured it out.
When Reader allows you to add text, highlight or leave comments, you can edit them. There is no menu to indicate this, or a backbutton, which this android / PC user is used to finding in an OS. No, it is more subtle. You simply press on the item you wish to change, and a submenu will appear as well as handles to drag. A bit obtuse, but oh so intuitive!

I downloaded a PDF viewer on my iPad and via itunes I can download the PDF to the iPad although for some reason the iPad comes up as 'RmoteTV' with a sub-directory of 'Books'. The 'PDFReader' app doesn't seem to find the file.

You can use the free iBooks to read PDF files. Download the app, use itunes to transfer the data then open the PDFs.
There are other pdf readers as well. I see good reader recommended and I'm sure there are more.

Whether it's maxed or not doesn't make any difference.
The bottom part of the image/scroll bar is always under the Windows taskbar any time the URL is opened.
It is always fixed by doing something, either switching to and back from another window, or turning on and off one or more toolbars.
That shouldn't be necessary. The bottom part should be visible when the URL is opened.

How to edit pdfs - I have a pdf I created to make a certificate - I am naturally trying to edit that for another person - ALL of these keep giving me the same message - error reading this (14). Even when I DO manage to get one to open and let me edit it, then saving it doesn't work, and sharing it gives me a BLANK one, despite having just filled it all in. Thank you for trying to help. I got a graphics whiz to look at the certificate I'd made; he told me to just use the arrow point icon at the top to access and change the name field space and the date field space. Seemed easy, was grateful. Of course I tried it, only to find when I tried to save it or share it via email, which is in fact the point of this whole silly program and file, for me, it saves as either blank fields (that I just filled in) or as some layered blank of the certificate itself. I could jump out the window. This is the simplest stupidest task I could ask a program to do - change text - and this is somehow like asking Nasa to go to Pluto. Please for God's sake someone tell me what to do with this to make rudimentary changes in a pdf.

You need an IMAP-type email service rather than a POP-type mail service. IMAP automatically does what you want. Contact your email provider to see if they offer IMAP.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary.

I purchased the iPad mini Wi-Fi & Cell because it has GPS. OK, it is assisted GPS but the GPS works very well as stand alone. I got the iPad mini for use in flight, so I dont even have a sim card in it. The GPS works perfectly in flight under all conditions. I have cross checked it against typical approved aircraft installations and it is very accurate at all times. I use it in Wi-Fi mode on the ground when updating my aviation database, when planning a flight, or similar circumstances. The primary advantage of A-GPS is quick location reading when first turned on, when on the ground where the GPS satellites signal may be of reduced quality. At 10,000 feet plus, it is a stand alone GPS. I have frequently turned the iPad off in flight for periods of time and when powering up, it gave me accurate positioning in a few seconds, never exceeded 10 seconds. I have also tested my iPad on the ground, using the aviation maps, and the GPS works perfectly also.
It remains possible that there is some feature that enhances the GPS when on the ground, even if there is no sim card in the iPad. But I doubt that any of these would work in an aircraft at high altutide. Nonetheless, I would appreciate knowing more about this.
