How to edit roles for specific tasks in IR & ID?

Hello XI gurus,
I need to assign access to specific tasks in IR & ID to dialog users. I tried creating separate roles in IR & ID but they need to have abap roles in the backend. But If I give some abap roles then the user will be having complete access to IR & ID. Can any one please help me how can i get this done.
I ran the trace as well from ST01, but no luck. The actions are not getting traced. Any help will be rewarded. Thanks in advance.

    We are using Veristand 2011.When we run any sequence in stimulus profle editor,we get test results in form of ATML file.
    We want to customise the template for this test result generation as per our requirement.
    For example:
    Test case No.: Description of test case.
    Objectives: Explanation of objectives.
    Result: Passed/ Failed.
    Graph: If any.
    Please suggest how to do this.

    You cant really change too much in the report, you can customize TRML.xsl which is created every time in the Test Results\UUT 1 folder and that would give you some flexibility on what is shown. I dont know what a xsl is actually able to do in terms of composing data from multiple files (if at all possible) but it definitely allows you to change the visual format of the existing xml data.
    Otherwise I modified the xsl to customize the look of the xml report when opened in a browser to have less clutter and some coloring on the Pass/Fail but, the reports are XML files anyway so it's easy to extract data out of them and you can probably write your own report creation tool to compose the report in whatever format you like.

    Hello there Anil,
    A simple way to quickly get a overview is to look at the request history within the portal environment (note that this will expire in a few day based on your environment, after that you would need to FIM Reporting Module - but you could increase this to
    maybe 60 days to so, watch the DB size).
    To do this you could create some custom search scopes of do some custom queries. The creator of the SSPR activities always has the same GUID so you can use that so search.
    In your search scope you can use the following XPath to play with.
    - All Password Reset Requests - /Request[Creator='b0b36673-d43b-4cfa-a7a2-aff14fd90522' and Operation='Put']
    - All Completed Password Reset Requests - /Request[Creator='b0b36673-d43b-4cfa-a7a2-aff14fd90522' and RequestStatus=‘Completed']
    You can play with the "RequestStatus".

    I found the article pretty interesting and actually complements some research i'm doing about database security. Particularly something called project lockdown by Arup Nanda: http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/project_lockdown/phase1.html
    On this document , section 1.4 Use umask. it specifcally states to set umask to 0177 for dump_dest and other directories, so it all comes down to how to set this umask for these particular directories.

    I was trying to assign Roles to maintain agent assignment and I was not able to assign role to Task -> Additional data -> Agent Assignment -> Maintain -> Create agent assignment -> selected role but it's not displaying the roles available in the client.
    There is no org. structure in our client.
    So, What all settings do i need to make the roles display and select?  please let me know in detail if possible.

    I haven't created any org structure or any role and there are no org structures in our client.
    To get roles displayed on search do we need to create an org structure. I don't think so.
    Is any authorization required for a user or any settings need to be made to get roles displayed when searched for roles for assigning role in maintaining agent assignment for a task.
    i even checked with basis person with his id but it is the same problem.
    As far as i know these roles are basis roles only and there are number of roles in our client but its strange it doesn't display any roles( not even a single role when i searched with  ' * ').

    I'm SD Pricing person. Let me ask here experts below my concern.
    In EU countries, there is recycling fee in sales of electronics or Note PC with batteries....to keep our earth clean.
    So when customers buy such products, they have to pay more as recycling fee including invoice amount.
    My question is... we want to make repricing for recycling conditions when the billing is created.
    Based on our configuration, recycling condition is not defined as a kind of tax condition.
    So this value is just copied from sales order.
    (pricing type in copy control is 'G' which means repricing for tax condition.)
    In this situation, we want to make repricing for those conditions during operating system.
    Is there any easy way to cover this?
    As I think, this is not easy because the system is already operated.
    To change condition attribution is really risky. If we dare do, we have to migrate all open orders.
    So I want to put this way to the end of my choice.
    For this requirement,
    1. We have to change condition class or category or calculation type in order to be repriced based on pricing type 'G'.
        (ex. Set the condition category as 'I' inter-billing or 'L' always repricing.)
        But transaction data are created now and all open orders will be affected.
    2. To create new conditions are not easy because these conditions are mapped to the CO-PA value field and the values are posted in FI doc.
    3. To change pricing type in copy control is almost impossible because of the impact.
    What can I do this in this situation?
    What I want to do is just to make repricing for specific conditions at the time of billing in case that pricing type of copy control is 'G'.

    Let me ask agagin to all experts.
    I want to make A condition to be repriced at the time of billing.
    For this, I have to set condition category as 'L' (Generally new when copying).
    But I do not want to do in that way becauuse I am maintaining big operated system now.
    In addition, though I migrate open orders after changing config. as 'L', it is almost impossible for use to migrate because we have more than a thound open orders per a DAY as Globalized system.
    That is why I am asking.
    Simply I can create new condition but as I mentioned, there are various recycling fee so we already created about 10 conditions. And this recycling conditions are linked to REA package of SAP. So creating another 10 more conditions can not be a way for us.
    At last, what I want is not to be shown this condition only in billing doc.
    'A' condition should be displayed in both Sales order and Billing doc.
    And simultaneously, when the billing is created and if user changed 'A' condition master, then new value which is different from sales order have to be reflected in billing doc.

    If you want to set the CLASSPATH for all the managed Servers available in your Domain then "$DOMAIN_HOME/bin/setDomainEnv.sh" has an Environment variable with name "PRE_CLASSPATH" which is usually preferred for Patches or any JAR which we want to override from the WebLogic's existing classpath.
    But if you don;t want to override WebLogic's default CLASSPATH rather include your Jars in it then please add your JAR filenem including absolute path inside the "POST_CLASSPATH" variable inside "$DOMAIN_HOME/bin/setDomainEnv.sh"
    Apart from this another option will be putting your Jars inside the "$DOMAIN_HOME/lib" directory because The jars located in this directory will be picked up and added dynamically to the end of the server classpath at server startup. The jars will be ordered lexically in the classpath. The domain library directory is one mechanism that can be used for adding application libraries to the server classpath. It is possible to override the $DOMAIN_DIR/lib directory using the -Dweblogic.ext.dirs system property during startup. This property specifies a list of directories to pick up jars from and dynamically append to the end of the server classpath using java.io.File.pathSeparator as the delimiter between path entries.

    Commission Payable % - The commission percentage number is stored for each product in an order. If you have to pay commissions to suppliers for selling their products then setting this number allows you to run reports that calculate the final amounts for you.
    Yea I found this stuff eairlier but the question is how do you actually run the report and how do you set up a supplier? I don't see why this is so hard it should be in the custom reports section of the reports tab. Then make new eComerce report, then pick supplier then filter for sales by supplier. But there is no filter for sales... just a filter for status and country. And I would think that you would add a supplier to the affilate program but that is actually for something else entirely. Sorry this is probably very simple and I am over complicating it...

    I don't understand your question....
    When sap is implemented usually part of the project is creating roles based on a blueprint designed to adjust to your company needs...
    Basically Standard roles are there to be used as templates for your own roles.
    Users as "dialog users" do not have classification... the special access attributes are given by the roles assigned to it based on the project plan desing pre-installation.
