How to edit slide names in TOC

Hi,
How can I edit the slide names in my TOC? Slide 1, 2, 3, etc is not very informative. I have gone into slide properties and added labels, but that has not updated the TOC slide names.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Perhaps try clicking the Reset TOC button?
Click Project > Table of Contents.
Click the Reset TOC button.

Editing Slide Names in TOC

I'm using Cap5 with the most recent patch installed. I've added lables to my slides, yet when they appear in the TOC, they only display as "slide 1", etc. I had to do some "creative editing" with some recorded slides so the numbering is rather odd (slide 1, slide 2, slide 12, slide 22, slide 3). I was certain I'd recently seen a tip on how to edit the slide names within the TOC but for the life of me, I can't find it. Does anyone know how to change the slide titles?

Hello Krista,
I think you added the TOC before you labeled the slides, right?
Use the small button (see screenshot, highlighted) to Reset the TOC. The slide labels will replace the current default names.

Also, there is no Devices section until I connect my iPad.
I have found a work-around. I connected my iPad, re-downloaded the Documents in question from the web (all PDFs) renamed them to my liking, deleted the documents in my iTunes-Devices-iPad list, dragged the renamed documents into the that same window and they immediately synced with the iPad. All is well. But surely this should not have to be the procedure.

the values from our column are from database , then how can we edit the data(values) in that columnErrr..Ohkk. There are 3 methods you can do this:
1) Correct the spelling in underlying DB table by updating the column name (check all the references) - Most Recommended
2) In case you don't want to go for 1st option, you can remove the default legend option in Pie Chart by setting it to none and ADD a new Legend View to this Chart View with correct names
3) Change the fx of that column in criteria like
case when col = 'abd' then 'abc' else col end
All above will solve your problem....

If you are trying to change the sender name on your iCloud email (the name that appears on the From: line), you do this by going to icloud.com, sign into your account, open Mail, click the gear shaped icon on the bottom left and choose Preferences, go to the Accounts tab and enter the name you want to use in the Full Name field and click Done. Then quit Mail on your Mac and re-open it. Your new From name should now appear in the drop-down list when you compose a new email.

You need to copy everything from the old computer, or your backup copy of your old comptuer to your new one.
The ipod/iphone/ipad are not storage/backup devices. They simply mirror the selected content of your computer. The sync is one way - computer to ipod/iphone/ipad. The exception is itunes purchases: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
You can sync to one computer/library at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current contnet and replace with content from the new computer.

Hi Ravi,
In SM37 when you have the list of all jobs, right-clic on the job you want to rename, copy, enter the new name.
Then you can delete the first job. The copied one will then be executed.

I've edited a MIDI Apple Loop from Jam Packs and saved it as an MIDI Apple Loop in the library.
What I typed in as a name for the file is not what appeared in the loop library?
1. Why did the text alter from I typed?
2. How can I edite the name in the within loop library.
3. How do I delete apple loops I've created from the apple loop library?

How to edit music album names - too long to display in Ipod

How can I edit music/audio album names. I don't really care about music but I have a lot of audio files and they all have the same name, followed by "Disk 1," "Disk 2," etc. The problem is that the "Disk 1" doesn't get displayed because there's not enough room on the Ipod display. I would think I could edit this in Itunes but don't see how to do it. I would like to1 shorten the title so the "Disk 1" can be displayed. Hope that is clear.

You can edit album names in iTunes on your computer.
Select all of the songs in the album, Select Get Info from the File menu, edit the Album name in the Info tab of the Get Info window and select OK.
This will change the name of the album. Note that you must change the album name for all of the songs in the album or you will end up with two albums.

I want to change the name of a folder in my Bookmarks Toolbar. I tried opening the 'show all bookmarks', then clicking Bookmarks Toolbar, and then clicking once on the present name with hopes it would allow me to edit it. But it didn't work.

You need to open the Bookmarks Toolbar folder in the left pane in the Library.<br />

The author's name is carried in the 'itunes:author' tag. You will need to enter it in the appropriate field in whatever program or online service you are using to make your podcast.

Hi,
There is Headings Type radio buttons above report column attributes.
Select Headings Type "Custom" and then you can change Headings.
Column names (Alias) you need change to report query.

Hello,
Captivate allows some audio editing but for what you want to achieve you need a typical audio application like Audition or Soundbooth. Audacity (free) will do as well.
