How to edit suggested recipient email id

When ever I compose emails, while entering email id it shows suggestion to whom I have never emailed till date. Now how do we edit the same and where it is stored.

Unfortunately, you cannot (yet) edit or avoid those sugtgested contacts.  They are drawn from your contact list, plus any email you've sent/received in whatever account(s) are synced to your device.
Hoping to see this addressed in a future release.

  • HT1918 How to edit Emergency Recovery Email Address

I want to change my primary email.  However, the new email I wish to use has been registered as the "emergency recovery email address" by Apple.  How do I get around this problem?

There are instructions half-way down this page for changing (which includes removing) your rescue email address :
Navigate to appleid.apple.com using your web browser.
    Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
    Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.
After you've validated your identity by correctly answering your security questions, click Edit to the right of your rescue email address.
Once you've finished editing your rescue email address, click the Save button directly below the email field.

  • How to edit the dropdown emails list created as you start to fill in the To: field?

When compose a new message, via iCloud (safari browser and win 7 os), and start to fill in the To: field, a dropdown list of Email addresses appears.  Some are old email addresses that have been deleted from the iCloud Contacts.  How do I clean this up?  Thx

    Hey Bubu,
    Thanks for the quick reply,
open xml SDK ... I don't know what that is but I don't think it has to be so complicated:
IF it is a Document type and NOT a Document Type Set, then I can specify the template to use and even edit it afterwards.
The problem with the Document Type Set is that it won't allow me to make changes to the files I specified when creating the set. I wonder where they are kept and how these docs can be edited.
    I don't think i need new software,
And I don't think i need to start writting code to achieve this simplest of tasks.
Can you elaborate a bit what xml SDK is and why I need it? what is Del Content of a document?
    Kind regards

  • How to edit an incoming eMail

When I would receive an eMail in Eudora, I could hit a button to EDIT the eMail before, say, printing. Generally I would do this to either correct spelling errors; or to make some key points (like a reservation number) LARGE AND BOLD or similar.
How to do this in Mail? I can always forward and not actually forward but correct and print, but that doesn't look exactly the same.
I just want to edit the incoming message and I don't even need to save the changes - but generally I would want to do that.
    Thanks!
    Best regards,

    Hi Stephen,
I try to explain it to you, because I set my mail to The Dutch language.
Open Mail and select in the Menu bar "view" than select in the drop down window "customise toolbar" now drag the little "Notes and the V" they are next to each other to the Menu bar on a place you like it.
    Now close the the window.
Now you will see in the Menu Bar the icons you dragged.
Select with your mouse the little V and a text bat will drop down. Now you are abel to type anything you like in it.
I hope you under stout me ...

  • How to Edit an Existing Email in Apple Mail

    Its rather quite easy:
Simple go to the Message menu and select Redirect. Then redirect the email to yourself after making edits.
This is useful if you want to keep the email intact, but to edit the subject line to make it easier to identify the contents.
...I was looking for the answer myself when I read the post by claudevz800
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1825771
I didn't like any of the solutions offered, but the re-mailing it to yourself idea made me think of the redirect solution. Too bad there is no way for me to mail claudevz800 with this cleaner solution.

Before putting complex art in perspective grid, ALWAYS create a symbol first.
You can only rotate perspective layers (and the art) around the vanishing points. You cannot change perspective or move the vanishing points (at least not if you want to artwork to adapt to it).

  • How to edit or delete emailed calendar entries in iOS?

When I accept an event into calendar on my iPhone (iOS 7.0.4) that appears as an attachment to an e-mail message, it shows up in the calendar correctly. However, unlike events that I enter directly, I cannot edit or delete the entry later; manually entered events show "edit" in the upper left corner of the screen which allow direct modification or deletion. It does not show on ones from mail attachments.
In the OSX version of calendar, however, those events can be editted or deleted just like any other calendar event.
Is this a bug or a feature? (In the case of "feature", how can I disable it?)
Also, if some sends an update to the event (time change or deletion), the changes do not take effect in the iPhone calendar.
Thanks for any assistance here. If I dont find a good soultion soon, I'm ditching the calendar on the iPhone and going back to paper.

    Hi,
The blue, dotted line indicates an implicit page break where the content has flowed to a new page. Use the same approach for adding/editing explicit page breaks in the Page view as you would in the Web view, by adding/moving/deleting a "New Page" element.
Note that we maintain separate page breaks for each view. A "New Page" item added in the Web view is not included in the layout of the Page view, and vice versa.

  • How to edit email message suject line?

I am wondering how to edit the incoming email's suject line with javamail api?
and which api defines the subject line of an email?
    regards
    Gaz

The simple answer is "you can't".
Mail servers don't allow you to change messages.
What you can do is make a copy of the message and change the copy.
Of course, the copy won't be stored anywhere permanently so if you want
to keep it you'll need to store it in a folder yourself.
In your second question are you asking about the getSubject method?
Since that's such an obvious answer to your question I'm sure you would've
found that yourself so I'm assuming you're asking something else, but I don't
    understand what.

    Hey mexigrl64,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities, and great question!
The @icloud.com email address is only required if you want to use iCloud Mail & Notes. You can still use your Apple ID (in your case, the @yahoo.com address) for iCloud Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Find my iPhone, Backup, etc. In short, you can use all of these functions without creating the @icloud.com address.
From the information you provided, and if backups are your only concern, then it sounds like you are good to go! There is no need to configure your iCloud settings to reflect the @icloud.com address, as this is just another email account that others can reach you at.

  • How do I keep my email password from remaining in Preferences? I want to enter it every time I get my mail. I upgraded to OS M Lion but it won't let me delete it from preferences. It's worked prior to using M. Lion. Any suggestions? Thanks!! Jen

How do I keep my email password from remaining in Preferences? I want to enter it every time I get my mail. I upgraded to OS M Lion but it won't let me delete it from preferences (the password from Account Info). Once you enter the password, it keeps it permanently. i do not want that.  It's worked prior to using M. Lion. Any suggestions? Also, The other pressing issue i have is, I DO NOT want ANY mail showing in my inboxes when Mail starts UNTIL i enter that password for each account. Instead of creating different user accounts for the MacBook, it's just easier this way. Or is it? If this is a permanent thing, then I may switch back to Lion. I guess I shoud've waited until the kinks were out before installing (**** Mac-head!)
Thank you all kindly for any suggestions & your time
    Regards,
    JC

I DO NOT want ANY mail showing in my inboxes when Mail starts UNTIL i enter that password for each account.
That is simply not possible with Mail, and never has been.  Anyone who uses your account can see all messages stored in Mail.  The only true solution is to not let other people use your account.  Let other people use the guest account, or if you share the machine with someone else, set up a separate user account for that person.  This will also solve the problem of remembering the password.  It will become a non-issue for Mail to remember your password if nobody else has access to your account.

  • How to edit email you want to forward ?

how to edit email you want to forward ?

The Windows Phone OS has been out and used by lots of users for a year and a half already.  I thing most all of its restrictions and limitations are pretty documented and easily discovered by just performing a little research...the cat's been out of the bag for a long time!
Nonetheless, there's a lot to like about the phone! (at least IMHO).  With each update new functionality and features are added to the phone, third party software is getting better and better....I, personally, am quite satisfied with my windows phone and look forward to all its future iterations.

  • How can I edit my recovery email address if my password had been locked?, How can I edit my recovery email address if my password had been locked?

How can I edit my recovery email address if my password had been locked? I couldn't receive the reset my password email because I think my recovery email address was invalid.

The idea of a Recovery email is so the rightful owner accomplishes the recovery, so I don't know of a process to edit that address if you don't know the Apple ID and associated Password.
