How to edit text in  text boxes in psd format documents?

A colleague has produced a flier using Publisher and has sent me psd file.  I would like to edit and change some of the text within existing text boxes.
How do I do that?
I look forward to hearing
Regards GMcG

Is the psd file flattened or do you see the Text layers in the layers panel?
If your unsure, could you post a screenshot of the layers panel?
An example of the Text layers that should have a big T in the layers panel.

  • HOW TO edit original message text in a Reply email

    Hello All!
We have an Application over several countries in which our Field Technicians must answer emails (reply) informing field ocurrences in order to update our central database in a (quite) "real-time" basis.
The problem is that, to do it, they need to edit the original message text (field parsing info), typing info, changing original message text. But we can't!
How can we do it? For now it's only posible to type new info in the "email answering area", not in the original message area.
This Application is working well since 2 years ago in Smartphones running Windows Mobile (Motorola).
Now we bought 20 new Blackberry Curve 8520 and we are in troubles to use them well.
    Can somebody help us?

  • How to edit or add text to a PDF file from an e mail

I would like to open a PDF file from an e mail received to work the file to edit and or add text, my e mail service is  LIVE.CA  (hot mail), I have Iwork 09

You can convert the PDF text to regular text (.txt) and then import/open into another program and make your changes, then save the file in the programs format (for your later editing) and then choose Print from the program and there may/may not be a option to save as PDF again.
You'll need a free (limited use) PDF to text utility like
    PDF OCR
    http://solutions.weblite.ca/pdfocrx/
Trouble here of course is you lose all the formatting and have to reformat, but it's a lot less expensive than Adobe's software.
LibreOffice is free to use and can save as PDF format if iWork doesn't save as PDF, it should unless Apple is really peeved at Adobe.

  • How to edit Select-option text?

    All,
I have a requirement to change 'to' word in select option.
    Generally, it displays as...
    Material :      _________    to _________
Can we change the word 'to'?
    Thanks,
    RH

    Hi Altaf,
your answer is good but it fails as soon as i reactive the screen so it won't work.
    Hi Ronny,
The solution for your requirement  is difficult.
but you can try the below code
    Selection Text
    S_MATNR1        _
    S_MATNR2        _
    Text symbol
    003     HI
    004     BYE
    Program code
SELECTION-SCREEN : BEGIN OF BLOCK B1 with frame.
    SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF LINE.
    SELECTION-SCREEN COMMENT (15) TEXT-003.
    SELECT-OPTIONS: s_matnr1 FOR mara-matnr NO INTERVALS .
    SELECTION-SCREEN COMMENT 52(6) TEXT-004.
    SELECTION-SCREEN POSITION 58.
    SELECT-OPTIONS: s_matnr2 FOR mara-matnr NO INTERVALS .
    SELECTION-SCREEN END OF LINE.
    SELECTION-SCREEN : END OF BLOCK B1.
    then create a range i.e R_matnr
and then pass the value of s_matnr1 and s_matnr into it

  • How to edit and import the scenario via XML format?

    Hi gurus,
In our project, we have a lot of ECC clients. So in PI system, we need to do a lot of same work in one scenario(Although we have config wizard,it's still boring because of our slow network speed).
Do we have any fast method to fix that? I mean can we edit the xml of one scenario and then import it into ID?
There is an import function but only we can import tpz files.
Thanks in advance. Any help will be appreciated.

I believe that  XML Data will be used for some later "technical Analysis" or for some documentation purposes and can not be used for the purpose you need to..

  • Edit or deleting text in a pdf document.

I'm trying to edit text in a pdf file, If i delete a line the the document backs up and i end up with text over the top of text....can anyone tell me how to edit or delete text in a document without everything around it moving up or down?

Realistically, that's just how it is. Text in a PDF file (unless it's very well-structured at the creation stage) is not laid out in a flowable 'story' as it is in Word, but is scattered about all over the place. Two lines of the same paragraph don't necessarily have to be connected, so deleting / adding a line break will often result in the remaining content moving about all over the place.
The best approach is to edit the original file and recreate the PDF, but if that's not an option then it gets messy. You may be able to open the page in Illustrator (where you could edit the text objects and reposition them if things act strangely) but that will break any interactivity or accessibility so is only a sensible option if the resulting PDF is only destined to be printed out.
If the page layout is relatively-simple, try exporting the PDF to Word (from Acrobat Pro), editing it and re-saving to PDF. Again it will lose any interactivity, but during the Save As step, Acrobat will try and guess the flow of the page content from where each item is positioned.

  • How to edit text in the yellow text box of a URL-link?

    Hey guys!
I´m currently working on a website in Iweb.
My current challenge is the following:
    - I´ve made a marked text a hyperlink. But when I rollover it, a yellow text box appears and shows the entire URL.
Now, I want it to show a custom edit text.
    example:
    the link is: www.domainpage.com/home/subfolder/page1234/sweet.html.
the yellow text box SHOULD SAY (example):
    "Sweet" tattoo
How do I rename the text in the yellow box?

This is a screenshot of what text boxes affect the page title.
If you can't change the necessary text box to reflect the title you want you can add the title via an HTML snippet and the following code:
    <script type='text/javascript'>
    parent.document.title = "PAGE NAME TO SHOW IN BROWSER TAB/BAR";
    </script>
Apply the code via snippet to each page you want to change the name to.

  • How to edit text box in Acrobat XI, created by prior versions of Acrobat

Hi, I'm having a difficult time trying to figure out how to edit a text box that was created in an older verison of Acrobat and used to fill out a form.
In my case, I've added text boxes over pre-existing text using an older version of Acrobat.
When I try to click on the text box, however, it seems to pick up on the pre-existing text and not allow me to edit the text box that I created in the past.

Try to edit the text with the 'Add Text Comment' tool which resides in Comment pane. The text used to fill the form may have been written as annotation, hence when you are trying to edit those with editing tools, original text is being edited.

  • Custom themes: How do I create & edit an auto-text box?

    Hello
Continuing my exploration of custom themes
I have now found out how to make text boxes editable (control-command-option-T, that was carefully hidden!) and am now struggling with creating and editing 'auto text' boxes (not sure what their real name is in Keynote-speak)
    1) Creating new text boxes:
Let's take a simple theme like White. One of the Masters is Title + Bullets Left. Now let's assume I want to create two text boxes with bulllets - the existing on the left and another on the right. In PowerPoint it's pretty simple: highly text box; copy; paste; move & resize as needed. Well Keynote won't let me Copy so that's out. If I create a fresh Text box, I can mimick the indent levels, bullets, font attributes, etc. (long and painful) but it still won't work because it is not a placeholder text box (fixed size) but a regular text box (size depends on content).
    I'm sure I'm missing a trick!
    2) Edit auto-text boxes
Again, take any theme, say White again; If I choose a Master with a set text placement, say Photo Vertical, there is very little I can do with it: I can change text attributes and box size, but I can't touch the number of indentation levels for example. Then again what defines a text box as been 'double click here to edit' from a regular placeholder?
Overall I think I'm missing a whole editing 'avenue' regarding masters - Anyone care to guide me?
    Thanks!

You can set a text field to be multi-line and tick off the option to scroll
long text to have it automatically wrap, but you'll have a problem with the
first partial line, since form fields can only be rectangular. Another
problem might be the lines themselves, since you'll have to use a font size
that will fit them exactly, or it will look odd. I would suggest getting
rid of those lines altogether. They are not needed when filling in the form
electronically. It's a relic from printed out forms where people had to
    hand-write their answers.

how to set the default text in an input box or a label to be a predefine, multiline text. In other words how to break the line in the code of a text box.
    thank you

There are a couple of ways of doing this:
If you're editing on the canvas, press Shift + Enter.
If you're working in Express View (see lower right hand corner of Project Siena), you'll need to copy a hard return from another app such as Notepad.
I believe a better implementation of hard returns are in the list of requested functionality that you can find here:

  • How do I rotate a text box?

How do I rotate a text box?

You mean, permanently? No way with the free Reader. And changes of this sort are usually done best in the original program (the one used to produce the PDF file). PDF files have never been meant for extensive editing.
