How to edit the browser list which shows up in Develop Open Page With
I am seeing a few missing browsers still listed in the "Develop>Open Page With" menu and was wondering if there is a way to remove those entries from that list. Thanks!

Anyone figure out how to edit the genre list in itunes yet?
I've searched the topic list to answer my question and have found some threads on this subject but all were from some time back.
I was just wondering if there is anything new on this. I understand there are factory preset genres. I understand how to add and remove my own. But I want to nuke apple's factory preset genres so my list is more concise and pertinent to my own tastes.
Another reason I want to edit it could just be because they say I cant!I am not sure if this is what you want, if you click on the genre field of an individual track, you can edit it. If you make it a new genre, it will appear in the genre list.

Where in GTS can I add to or remove an entity from the ngative list?
Hi Daniel,
Choose the BP you would like to add to the negative list and screen it using transaction /SAPSLL/SPL_CHSB1LO.
Then from the next screen hit the "Negative List" button:
To remove from the negative list go to transaction BP enter the business partner number and navigate to the SAP GTS tab.
Go to change mode and change the value highlighted from "2" to "SPACE" and save.

As reported elsewhere a modified version of the Firefox userChrome.css file can be used to prevent the Add-on Bar being launched at Firefox restart. "Open Page With" menu option does not list Firefox anymore
I recently updated Safari to 4.0.3 and I am no longer able to open the current page in Firefox via the "Develop > Open Page With" menu option. It does not list Firefox even though I have 3.5.2 installed. Also, I am unable to show the Debug menu. Any thoughts?
thxWhen Firefox downloaded the 3.5.1 to 3.5.2 update, the new installation was not recognized by Safari. I had to download the full 3.5.2 setup file and reinstall. That fixed it.

Listbox items cannot be edited directly in the control: what you can do is to select a line an, transfer its content to a textbox control, edit text there and move text back to the listbox control. Available interactions with the listbox control are listed in the help.
An alternative to it is to use a tree customized to appear like a listbox: tree item labels can be edited directly in the control, at least those in the base column of the tree. You can look at the example \samples\userint\treelist.cws that shows how a tree can be customized this way. I haven't opened it, but this old example too should show the ability to edit tree cells.

If, by "shrink" ... you mean by using the AppSizer, the
answer is "not really". You can configure AppSizer to a defined
size, then with the mouse pointer double-arrowed on the "edge" of a
window, right-click and your window-size selections will appear in
the AppSizer "list" (that you set up) and can be selected there.
But there is no re-scaling of the window contents, if that is
what you mean, so the smaller window may now require scrolling.
But keep in mind that if you use the recording option for
"Software Simulation" > "Custom Size", you can then snap the
application window to that size... -
i have apps loaded on my iPad. they show in the main screen are not available to load documents to in the window list which should appear below the main window. the same apps do appear in the sub window on my other iPad. any ideas?
From what I can see, unless you're doing things with old versions of Xcode on a Mac (in which case, the solution seems to be to upgrade to the latest version), this seems to e an iTunes issue.
Accepting that it works fine with another iPad, I suggest trying the following:
1. Restart the non-working iPad
2. If that doesn't work, reinstall iTunes. If you're on a Windows PC, I suggest using Control Panel to uninstall all the Apple apps, restarting the PC, and doing a fresh install. If you're using a Mac, a repair permissions might help too.
iTunes 10.3 is now available, and that may make a difference. -

I installed a program and it must've edited a bunch of my FireFox settings because now whenever I open a new tab it goes to some Bing search engine. I tried editing the browser.newtab.url entry in the about:config however nothing happens when I edit the field. I am able to edit other fields just not the browser.newtab.url

Can anyone help me sync calendars from my iPhone to my Mac and help me figure out how to edit or delete lists in Reminders? I thought upgrading to Mountain Lion would work, but I'm having the same problem as before under Snow Leopard. So, here's my situation.
I'm running 10.8.2 on a Macbook Pro. I have a 3GS iPhone running 6.0.1. I can make entries on my Mac Calendar and they will show up on my iPhone, but if I make an entry on my iPhone, it never makes it to my Mac. Also, I notice that when I log in to my iCloud account on my Mac, it has a "me.com" email address as my apple i.d., but it is not my primary account i.d. and I can't figure out how to delete it. Also, my Reminders application won't allow me to delete lists I created. Contacts, on the other hand, work instantaneously regardless of where the change is initiated.On you iPhone check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar (in the calendars section). Here be sure you have selected the Calendar listed under your iCloud account ID as your default. If you haven't, make this change, then enter a new event on your phone and see if it syncs properly now.
You should be able to delete you reminders list by, from the Lists view, tapping Edit at the top, then tapping next to the list you want to delete and tapping Delete. -
How to edit the find-and-replace dialog in Dreamweaver 8
For over 13 years I have been a happy user of Macromedia Dreamweaver 8. And I still see no reason to use any other program for editting PHP.
However, 1 thing has been bugging me for years. In the find-and-replace dialog there is a select "Find in". The options are in a dropdown.
I want this select to be a multiselector (not in functionality, but just so I don't need to click to get the dropdown, but just one click to select).
I read in the help at 'Customizing the appearance of dialog boxes' at point 4
On your disk, find the appropriate HTM file in the Configuration/Objects, Configuration/ Commands, or Configuration/Behaviors folder.
I've been searching but can not find the code for that dialog, althou it should be easy. Also did a search for that 'save' image, because once I find that, I can find this form, but its not in the macromedia folder.

Yes its a dropdown list. But to find the code for that select I tried to find the htm file that code is on by searching for the save-image which is also on that page (next to the yellow folder). I did a search on all folders in c:/programfiles/macromedia and that image is not in there. If I could find the image name, I could search the code for that and should find that htm (or javascript) which is outputting it, then the select must be near to that.
I also searched the code for the various texts on the page and got many hits, but not from the dialog page. I can't search dll files, so maybe thats where that code is in. -
How to get the Creative Cloud to show in the Finder window
I have Creative Cloud Photoshop downloaded to my Mac and Mac Air. On my Mac, Creative Cloud shows up in the Finder Window which makes it easy to open/save files but it doesn't show in the Finder window on my Mac Air. Anyone know how I can get it to show?

How to make the tab list vertical
I recently changed my android ui of my phone to 221 dpi. This caused the previously vertical list of tabs to be replaced with a horizontally scrolling list. Can I configure Firefox 23 to show the vertical list which it did previously?
The Eidt Links link is security trimmed. That is, if the user doesn't have permissions to edit links like a Visitor it won't show up. On the other hand if the user has permissions (like contribute permissions) it will show up based on whether the property Editable
has been set or not in the SharePoint asp menu control. In OOB master page like Seattle.master, SharePoint:AspMenu id="V4QuickLaunchMenu" is used to render Quick Launch links. By default Editable property has value true. However, if it is explicitly
set to "false", then Edit Links will not show up in Quick Launch. Similarly the control for top navigation which uses it SharePoint:AspMenu ID="TopNavigationMenu"

I noticed a few limitations of an automatically generated web service
under WLS 7.0, and I am wondering if there is a way to manually edit
files to overcome these limitations:
- the parameter names have no meaningful names, such as string0,
string1, etc. This needs to be changed to at least use the names given
to the parameters in the EJB. I remember putting in a CR a while back,
but this has not been implemented yet.
- The documentation field says 'todo'. It would be nice to be able to
add some explanatory text there.
I looked for the WSDL file in the web-services.war file but could not
find it. Any pointers as to whether/how this stuff can be edited?
