How to edit the text displayed in KM Upload link?

Hi All,
I want to edit the text displayed in KM Upload link ie "You can upload a file to the repository from your computer. Click "Show Properties" to assign another name or to change the settings".
I tried searching for the resource bundle from which the above text is displayed but couldnt find it.
Can anyone help?

You can find the text in ResourceEditControl**.properties file, which is available under com.sap.km.cm.ui\lib\km.appl.ui.edit_api\com\sapportals\wcm\control\edit..
The text is represented by the key txtUploadControl..

1. click on the text. in the properties panel it will say
static text, dynamic text or input text.
2. if it's static text, click on the text tool and click
inside your text. then edit. if it's not static text, you can do
the same thing, but the text will be changed by actionscript during
run-time IF text was originally assigned by actionscript.

How to center the text displayed in a JList

The width of the JList display area is wider than the text displayed. I tried to center the text displayed to make it look nicer. I had tried using "setAlignmentX(Component.CENTER_ALIGNMENT)" in my own ListCellRenderer class but did not work. Any idea how to center the text?

How to influence the text display of key figures in the interarctive DP

Hello all,
Does anyone know if there is a possibility (BADI, etc.) to change the text display of key figures (not characteristics!) in a planning book/data view?
I know that you can define a free text in the data view but still, this is only one fixed text and it cannot be changed.
Reason for the request: We would like to use the same key figure (and hence, indicate 2 different texts) for two different purposes (in different selections) without having to create a new data view.

if you dont want a new data view and might even go to the extent of creating a user exit for this ... here is an idea
- just create auxillary KF ( or use spare Temp KF depending on what you want to do with the data in the view) for each of these KF with the text
lets say you have KF1 and KF2 - create KF1A and KF2A
Make sure KF1A = KF1 and KF2a = KF2
Now depending on user you can display KF 1 and KF2 or KF1a and KF2a depending on the user by using macros USER() and ROW_VISIBLE(0)

How to edit the text generated by OCR

Using Arobat Pro 8 I have scanned in a booklet with text in it. The OCR function has made it searchable and Read Out Loud too but how do I edit this text as some pages have errors on them due to graphics on the page interfearing with them. I tried using Document > OCR Text Recognition > Fin all OCR Suspects but nothing comes up!

Since there are "Image Only", "Image and Hidden Text" and "Text" pdfs that can be created by OCRing, you can only edit the PDFs that have visible text.

Try Command-Z or Edit/Undo. (if you deleted the whole title page).

How to disable the text field in File upload element?

Hi,
How can we disable the text field in the "File upload" UI element so that the user won't be able to type the file path there, but he will still be able to browse the file using the Browse button?

I want to Edit the checkbox in Grid Display.
I have one checkbox field in my internal Table,
Code Of the Program,
Data :
Begin of itab occurs 0,
CHK type C,
MATNR like MARA-MATNR,
end of itab.
Iam building the fieldcatelog using Merge Funcion module.
After that I am chaning the properties of the field
catelog like below,
loop at I_FCAT assigning <FCAT>.
Case <FCAT>-Fieldname
When 'CHK'.
<FCAT>-Checkbox = 'X'.
<FCAT>-INPUT = 'X'.
I dont have edit option in fieldcatelog.
modify I_FCAT from <FCAT>.
endcase.
endloop.
In the Layout,
I_LAYOUT-box_fieldname = 'CHK'.
I_LAYOUT-box_tabname = 'ITAB'.
It is displaying the Checkbox field.but I couldnt edit the checkBox.
I can able to edit in REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY.
But I have to use REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.How to edit the checkbox.

The below procedure explains you to create a checkbox cloumn in the grid and allows you to edit i hope this will helps u.
The ALV Grid Control displays the cells of a column as checkboxes if the column is marked as a checkbox column in the field catalog.
 Add another field to the output table in which you want to display checkboxes
OR
 Define an existing field as a checkbox.
Procedure
1. Add a field to your output table:
Data: gt_fieldcat type lvc_t_fcat.
Types: begin of gs_outtab.
Types: checkbox type c. "field for checkbox
Include structure <ABAP Dictionary structure> .
Types: end of gs_outtab.
Data: gt_outtab type gs_outtab occurs 0 with header line.
2 * Add an entry for the checkbox to the field catalog
clear ls_fcat.
ls_fcat-fieldname = 'CHECKBOX'.
* Essential: declare field as checkbox and
* mark it as editable field:
ls_fcat-checkbox = 'X'.
ls_fcat-edit = 'X'.
* do not forget to provide texts for this extra field
ls_fcat-coltext = text-f01.
ls_fcat-tooltip = text-f02.
ls_fcat-seltext = text-f03.
append ls_fcat to gt_fieldcat.

Does anyone know how to simply edit the text in the spine of hard cover, 40 page book in the book module? I can click into any other text window and edit and change attributes but I am locked out of editing text when it comes to the spine of the book. I spoke to Blurb support and they referred me to Adobe. I spent 45 minutes with support here - no one knew. I am still waiting for a call back with an answer... not holding my breath as it's been a few hours now. HELP!!!

I have experienced all the fiddly aspects you mentioned - these are attributes and although changing them requires the skill of a surgeon's hand - it's the actual editing of the text I can't seem to access anymore. The box just won't allow me to do anything except change attributes. Does that make sense? And it's only on the spine where I am having this issue. Puzzled! I have even rebooted the program and just now the computer - to no avail.

Hi,
if your text edit value is stored in 'lv_string' variable.
then before exporting the value to excel you have to remove CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES=>NEWLINE
that is '#' from the variable lv_string.
for that use code some thing like this.
REPLACE ALL OCCURRENCES OF CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES=>NEWLINE in lv_string WITH space.
I think this will do the trick.

What is the file format of the vector you downloaded? Custom Shapes have a .PSP extension, and are placed according to this table.
Preference filenames and locations in Photoshop CC
They will then be loadable from the Custom Shapes drop down — click on the cog icon > Load shape > Find your downloaded vector.
Once placed in the image, it will appear as a Shape layer, and can be edited with the Path, and Direct Selection tools (black and white arrows on the toolbar)
