How to edit VI in a library?

I downloaded the example Vi library "Sine Swept Frequency Response", which contains a VI showing how we can get the frequency response of a filter. I would like to integrate this functionality in my own VI. However, when I start the VI, I get no editing menu. I cannot see the diagram and modify it. Is this protected against editing. If so, why?
I attached the library to this message.
Thank you,
Benoit Provost

The edit menu and diagram are there. The VI is set to hide the menubar and toolbar when running but all you have to do is click the stop button.

You must select the green loop in the Arrange and go to Region menu "Add loop to the library" something like that or drag and drop the region to the Library in the Media dock.
This way a new dialog will show( see the picture below ) where you need to fill new "unique" name or to add some user (sub name), choose the group etc.

You "user" green loop is stored to ...user/Library/Audio/Apple Loops/User Loops.
Browse to this dir and edit or delete the loop.

  • How to edit movie clip in fla library?

I'm attempting to edit some fla files that have embedded
movie clips. I can't figure out how to edit the movie clip files in
the library. I tried exporting the file to SWC file but can't edit
    that.
Can anyone tell me how this is done? Do I need seperate
source fla files that maybe I don't have for the movie clip files?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Thanks for your reply. That's what I would normally do but I
think the original programmers of this site did every thing they
possibly could to make it difficult for a non-expert to edit. I've
edited many flash sites but this one is ridiculous.
I just can't find all the images that make up the movie clip
to edit. I've looked through every layer and double clicked on
everything. I've ran out of ideas.
If anyone wants a challenge I'd be happy to send you the .fla
file just to see what I'm talking about. You can't edit
    anything.

  • How do I sync my iTunes library on my desktop to my laptop

I travel a lot and now have an iPod touch. I LOVE IT and I particularly love that I can download directy to the iPod from the internet - FANTASTIC!!
My issue is that I have the iPod sync'd with my desktop. Now I want to get my laptop in sync so when I travel I can have my library with me but it is telling me I would have to wipe my iPod Touch to sync with this laptop but all my stuff is on my desktop and iPod
I have not been able to find it in my help searches. I am sure there is a way to do this because Apple can't expect me to purchase two sets of all my music.
Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Although I can access the songs it is not helpful for my issue. I cannot be connected to the desktop while on the road and some locations I visit do not allow anything but my laptop on site so I cannot use my iPod.
How can I have my iTunes library from my desktop accessible on my laptop when I am travelling?
I waited on hold for over 18 minutes for someone to answer the apple support line and then they wanted me to pay $49 for support on a FREE APPLICATION. It is ridiculous. It is because I wouldn't give them the serial number for my iPod as I continued to tell the guy my question is NOT iPod related......... Can anyone help me?

  • How to use a single iPhoto Library from multiple macs

I'm trying to help my brother out with his iPhoto Library and his Mac network.  He has a Library on a MacBook Pro that is about 65GB.  I am moving it to his Mac Mini to make it the primary Library.  What he wants to do is be able to load new photographs from any Mac in his house and have them appear in the primary Library.  If I make the Mac mini shareable and point iPhoto on each of his Mac's to the Library on the Mac Mini, will that work?
Are there any down sides to doing it this way?  Can you create multiple Libraries for iPhoto, the other thing we are thinking about is to organize his Library by years.
    Thanks
    Elliot

What do you mean by "make the Mac mini shareable"?
Iphoto is not really designed for this kind of use, but there are some possibilities - with limitations.
I'm assuming you want to use the same library for each machine, so there is only one.
Put the Library on a disk formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and set to ignore ownership and permissions.
Then point each machine at it in turn.
Remember only one machine can access the Library at a time, and attempting to do so with multiple machines can cause damage.
How are you connecting to the Library? A strong warning: If you're trying to edit the Library (that is, make albums, move photos around, keyword, make books or slideshows etc.) or edit individual photos in it via Wireless be very careful. Dropouts are a common fact of wireless networking, and should one occur while the app is writing to the database then your Library will be damaged. Simply, I would not do this with my Libraries.

It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.

  • How do I disable "copy to Library"

I have Digital editions version 2.0
When I double-click on an epub ebook on my computer, it opens.
When I try to close the file, I get a pop-up window that says "file.epub is not open from library, would you like to copy it to library?"
    Where is the "NO" button?
The only optiuons seem to be copy or cancel.
If I cancel, the option to "Don't show this alert again" is not applied.
If I go ahead and click on "add to library" the option to "Don't show this alert again" is not applied.
I am very happy with the way I have all of my books arranged and organized. I do not want to use Adobe Digital Editions to build a new and different and un-necessary new "library". How do I get rid of "Library" and how do I stop this pop-up window from reappearing.

When you sync you should have the option of transferring your new purchases from the device to iTunes. If not, then you can: iTunes Store- Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer.

    HI
If you have less number records in this request(which you extracted now), delete that request from all the targets and reload again with option Valid records update, reporting not possible.
this is the option which is recommended.
follow the below 2 docs as well.

  • How do I transfer my iTunes library with the playlists and song plays from a PC to a MAC

I just recently got a MacBook and I'd like to transfer my iTunes library as well as the playlists and song plays over to this computer and i was wondering how i should go about doing so.
I've found a few tutorials on how to edit the .xml files but I haven't really succeeded in doing so.

Use an external HDD and copy the entire iTunes folder from the original computer to the Mac and place it in ~/Music.

Officially you don't. Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

  • How to Edit PSD Files In Flash Template

    Hi Everyone,
I am new to flash and I am trying to create my first flash site using a template that I have downloaded. I can edit the first page fine, but when I click the "about us" or any other section, the standard template text, Which isn't even in english, appears. I believe that these are psd files, and I have tried to edit them, saved and replaced file on my computer, but still I get the same unchanged text on this site when I preview. Could someone please tell me how to edit and replace these files within the flash movie?

Instance names are the reference names that you give to the individual items on the stage. Only movieClip and button symbols can have instance names.
When you import a photoshop file to Flash you will get individual bitmap objects on the stage and in a folder in the movie's Library. You will need to select each item, one at a time, on the stage and convert each one to a symbol. When you make that conversion the name that you give to that new movieClip or button is the name that you will see in the Library.
When you select that new symbol on the stage, look at the Properties window. You will now see a space at the top where you can give that item an instance name. The instance name is what you will use in Actionscript to control that object on the stage.
When you look in the movie's Library, you will see the original bitmap and the symbol that you created that contains that bitmap.
    Does that help?
