How to elimate tabs in Firefox 4?

How can I eliminate tabs in Firefox 4? I hate tabs. They are useless to me. Now "open link in new tab" is also on top in the right click feature in Firefox 4. I use the Internet too much for all the added hassle. How can I get rid of this time-wasting feature in Firefox?

Currently selecting one tab will bring it to focus. I have tried to command select as well as control select.
There are a could of add ons however you can check out. Including [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tabgroups-manager/ Tab Groups manager]

Do you mean to zoom pages automatically so they fit in a browser window (tab)?
There is no way to do that automatically in Firefox AFAIK.

I am using a MacBook Pro and when I open a new tab in Firefox it opens to Trovi. Mozilla has a forum but solutions are all for the PC/Windows. How do I remove it?

I am using a OSX MacBook Pro running Mavericks version 10.9.4 and using Firefox 30.0. My Mac has recently been hijacked by a program called "Trovi". Whenever I open a blank new tab in Firefox the tab opens it opens with Trovi. The Mozilla forums offer support but all solutions are for users who run Windows. How do I remove Trovi from my Mac? Please help.

You can find the New Tab button showing as a '+' on the Tab bar.
You can open the Customize window and drag the New Tab button that shows as a plus sign (+) from the Tab bar on another toolbar and it will become a regular toolbar button like the New Tab button that you have in Firefox 3 versions.
If you can't find the New Tab button then click the "Restore Default Set" button in the Customize window. 
If you want the New Tab button at the far right end of the Tab bar then place a flexible space to the left of it.
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"

The "Use custom settings for history" setting allows to see the current history and cookie settings, but selecting that setting doesn't make any changes to history and cookie settings.
