Same way as you always have done -- press and hold 'till they wiggle, then tap the [x] in the corner of the one you want to delete. Or, change your sync settings via iTunes to not sync apps you don't want/need.
Note that you cannot eliminate built-in apps like Weather, Stocks, etc.

And like an idiot I took the little green pill and pushed the button. Now I can't open iTunes, some apps; like the Lindsey Sterling app, Safari and Disney don't work either (not that I care about the Disney one, but, it's part of the base setup, you'd think "IT" would work!) almost anything with video links will not open, iCloud can't find me. All I get is that annoying white screen. I'M NOT HAPPY! I could have bought a Windows machine for a lot less money and have the same problems!?! (I'll bet Mr. Jobs is spinning like a top right now!) And I have goggled-- found a few fixes: re-install, restore, etc. found one that stated to get iTunes back to go into the iPods setting by double ckicking the home button go to iTunes app and sign out, then sign in again-- those options didn't work. JEM24

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

Either you don't understand or misuse just what iOS is, it is only found on iPad, iPhone, iPod and does not run on Macs in any way, and as far as we here the only operating system of interest is Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 or above.
There are forums for iPad and if you have a notebook then you want MacBook Pro forum.
As for Windows, there is a forum for "Boot Camp" to set aside and use part of your hard drive for Windows to run natively.

Have you actually opened these files to see what they are yet? The few Apps I've downloaded (not from iTunes) typically come with a few files. The actual app, the instructions/help/TOU and sometimes an uninstall.

Creating Web Service from Java Class-How to eliminate nillable="true"

Does anyone know how to eliminate the attribute, nillable="true", from the element tags which describe the parameters in the WSDL created when creating a web service from a Java Class? It does this only for the string types. Is there something I need to set when creating the web service or before creating the web service? Or the only way is to modify this WSDL then recreate the web service from the WSDL.

You cannot 'roll back' your iOS. That's never been supported or allowed by Apple (with only one exception).

It's not the iOS. It may be a setting on your iPhone or the wi-fi network, or a hardware issue. But it's not the iOS. If it was, then everyone's iPhone 5S using the same iOS would not be working, and that's not the case.
Troubleshoot your issue.

If your mail folders are actually "on my Mac" then your iOS devices cannot be set up to see them. However, if your mail folders are within your email service account and your email service is an IMAP account, then the folders should sync between devices.

Double tap on the home key, it brings up a line of apps with little screen shots hovering over them. Flip the screen up, kinda of like you're flipping those apps off your screen.
When you're done just press the home key once to exit the mode.
As to battery issues, poke around in the notifications. There's a lot of stuff defaulted to on that you may not need. Also look to the background updating of apps. Background updating of weather and stocks is defaulted to on, which means it's continually going out to update. May not be something you need.
