  • Hello I changed my ID password and my Iphone 5 keeps asking me to enter ir every time I start de device

Hello, I updated my ID password over the weekend and my Iphone 5 keeps prompting me to enter the password every minute to start my iCloud Session. I also updated de iOS version to the latest 8. How can I solve this problem?

    Hey carolina2812,
Sounds like you have an issue with the iCloud account on your iPhone 5. I would like to recommend that you troubleshoot this by restarting your iPhone, then performing a reset on the device if the issue persists. Both actions are explained in the following article:
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
If neither of these actions affect the issue, you may want to consider signing out of your iCloud account on your device, then re-signing into the device:

  • ITunes 10.7 keeps asking for password every time it starts

So, ever since updating to iTunes 10.7, it *continually* asks me for my Apple ID password twice every time I start iTunes.
This is getting quite annoying.  Is this a bug, or is there something that needs to be set to make this stop happening?

Have you ever been able to successfully remain connected to this wifi? Do any other devices connect and stay connected to this wifi? Have you checked to see if there is a firmware update for your router? The last step would be to restore your iPhone, first from a backup and if that doesn't work, then as a new device, or not from a backup. See this support document about restoring http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414

  • ICloud on iMac - asked to enter password every time I login

I share an iMac (intel) with my wife. We have separate accounts on the iMac each without a password. My account works just fine with iCloud and my AppleID is linked to my user account on the iMac. However, whenever my wife logs in, she is asked every time to 'finish her iCloud setup and to log in to iCloud using her Apple ID'. She is then asked to use 'Find my iMac' and no matter whether she says yes or no, it goes through the process that you normally get when you login for the first time with a new account 'Setting up your Mac', etc, etc.
I figure there is something wrong with her Apple ID, since if I go to iCloud in System Preferences, I am asked to enter her password to verify her AppleID. When I enter her password, it does not say if it's wrong or right, it just accepts it, but leaves the same screen for you to do this over and over again.
If I then sign her out of iCloud, when I try to sign her back into iCloud, it says 'You can't sign in at this time, try signing in again'. no matter how many times I try, or for how long I leave it, I can't sign back into iCloud.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Kevin

Go into the settings, app store and have it require your password immediately
you can also enable restrictions and turn off the installation of new apps so that someone has to enter the restrictions code to install anything

  • ITunes asks for my password every time I start iTunes

I have a MBP tunning Lion 10.7.2. I am running iTunes version 10.5.1. Everytime I start iTunes it asks for my itunes password to make automatic downloads available. So I enter it. But the next time I start iTunes it asks again, and again and again. If I hit cancel it will ask again. If I Sign Out of the store it won't ask anymore, until I sign into the store again. If I stay signed in and I hit cancle when it asks it still lists me as signed in.
This seems to have started since Lion.
    Any suggestions? It's very annoying.

Okay, I think I got the answer. I went to the Apple store and asked a salesman who pointed me in the direction of another salesman who knows his stuff. I've only done this for a few days, but it seems to be working.
Open itunes and sign out and de-authorize. You must do both.
He reccomended going into keychain access and deleteing the itunes entry. I could not find it, which may have been the problem, more later.
I then rebooted and cleared PRAM for good measure.
Now restart itunes and sign in and authorize.
I did this on Monday night and have not been having the problem, I opened itunes several times and rebooted several times, etc.
Today I checked keychain access and now I see an itunes entry.
I think it is okay now!

  • How do i Remove remote lock?  I hit it to lock mistakenly and don't want to enter password every time my phone sleeps.

  • Wireless asks for password every time on Lion

First time Mac user with Brand new Macbook Air with Lion.
First thing I do after taking it out of the box is to connect it to my work wireless.  It is checked off to remember the password.  Everytime I close the lid and open it ask for they password again...
There are no updates available.  None of the suggestions from googling and the apple forums help.
Have deleted everything including all remebered networks, keychain passwords, certificates and recreated new locations and it still asks for a password every time.  Started from scratch countless times with still no luck.  Half a dozen Mac cetrans and IT experts have looked at this in person and are stumped.  So much for "it just works".  It just doesn't work!  Very Annoying

Suggest that you try a post over in the Lion support area.
We primarily handle questions about the AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule in this support area.

  • How do I keep my email password from remaining in Preferences? I want to enter it every time I get my mail. I upgraded to OS M Lion but it won't let me delete it from preferences. It's worked prior to using M. Lion. Any suggestions? Thanks!! Jen

How do I keep my email password from remaining in Preferences? I want to enter it every time I get my mail. I upgraded to OS M Lion but it won't let me delete it from preferences (the password from Account Info). Once you enter the password, it keeps it permanently. i do not want that.  It's worked prior to using M. Lion. Any suggestions? Also, The other pressing issue i have is, I DO NOT want ANY mail showing in my inboxes when Mail starts UNTIL i enter that password for each account. Instead of creating different user accounts for the MacBook, it's just easier this way. Or is it? If this is a permanent thing, then I may switch back to Lion. I guess I shoud've waited until the kinks were out before installing (**** Mac-head!)
Thank you all kindly for any suggestions & your time
    Regards,
    JC

I DO NOT want ANY mail showing in my inboxes when Mail starts UNTIL i enter that password for each account.
That is simply not possible with Mail, and never has been.  Anyone who uses your account can see all messages stored in Mail.  The only true solution is to not let other people use your account.  Let other people use the guest account, or if you share the machine with someone else, set up a separate user account for that person.  This will also solve the problem of remembering the password.  It will become a non-issue for Mail to remember your password if nobody else has access to your account.

  • How can I change the settings on entering a password every time something is bought

The problem is I put the password in once and get an app for my son and it is unlocked for a number of minutes I wants it to b locked rite away! Cause he is purchasing things while it is unlocked. Is there any way to have this changed to promp with password every time something is downloaded in the future?

You can't change the time, which is 15 minutes, after which you don't have to re-enter your password, but I think that signing out of your account when you've downloaded what you want will work : Settings > Store > Sign Out . Or just wait 15 minutes before handing the phone over.

  • How come I have to put in a keychain password every time safari or mail is opened? Is there a way I can disable it or save the password so it doesn't pop up every time?

How come I have to put in a keychain password every time safari or mail is opened? Is there a way I can disable it or save the password so it doesn't pop up every time? Also, I have my mail account set up from my Yahoo! account and every time I open mail, it asks for the password for my Yahoo! account. I have checked save this password to keychain and it persists on popping up repeatedly.

You don't want to disable keychain (if there's even a good way to do so), since it stores stuff like certificates and the such.  It's quite useful.
Anyways, Keychains>Preferences>First Aid.  Check Set Login Keychain as default.  When you login, it unlocks the keychain.
    That should help you.

  • Help! I have to keep entering my wifi WEP password every time I slide my iphone 4S on  again.  It doesn't store the password as it should.

Help! I have to keep entering my wifi WEP password every time I slide my iphone 4S on  again.  It doesn't store the password as it should.

The use of WEP is not recommended for compatibility, reliability, performance, and security reasons; WEP is insecure and functionally obsolete. Any reason you're using WEP? I ask, because you might as well not have any security at all, & this is most likely your issue.

Hold down 'd' key and it should boot into Apple Hardware Test, or insert your OEM install DVD to do so.
